Emirates. Travel skywards points shock

We have traveled. On three occasions on Emirates. In the last year London to Delhi RTN London to Mauritius one way London to Sri Lanka On all the trips. We recorded our skywards membership numbers. The manage your booking system accepted the numbers and we never actually checked after the trips to see if the airline had honoured their part in awarding the points .Recently I discovered that none of the trips had any points awarded .When I raised it with customer service. They said they could only award points for the last 6 months .They could not comprehend the unfairness of the it And I raised it several times.with them and they lack of understanding and applying common sense beggar believe Its changed my perception of Emirates. And honestly will think again before ever using their service . We have three different. Travel dates. Going back to may 2024 February 2025 June 2025

I had a wonderful experience

I had a wonderful experience on Emirates flights Adelaide-Dubai-Switzerland and back. The first leg ADL - Dubai I was offered business class for a fee. It was a wonderful experience. The rest of the journey was pretty good, food was absolutely delicious. Service was great. Overall I would recommend Emirates for long haul flights

Unprofessional Services

This was the most disappointing flight (EK181) I have experienced with Emirates airline. The service provided by the female flight attendants was unprofessional. Passengers in the F zone were largely ignored, as the attendants spent a significant amount of time engaging in personal conversations with male passengers — one attendant even sat on the floor speaking with a male traveler for an extended period. As a result, other passengers were overlooked and were not offered food or beverages in a timely manner. Furthermore, the airline’s refund policy appears to be structured more for its own profit than for customer fairness. Unfortunately, you have lost another customer.

Excellent service

I flew on Emirates Flight 770 from Dubai to Cape Town on 2 June 2025, and the experience was absolutely outstanding.From boarding to landing, everything was seamless — the seats were spacious and extremely comfortable, the food was well-prepared and flavourful, and the in-flight service exceeded expectations. The only small letdown was that they ran out of the chicken option by the time they reached my row. However, the flight attendants handled it with such grace and professionalism, ensuring I was still taken care of with a great alternative and warm hospitality.Their attentiveness and calm, friendly service really stood out and made the flight enjoyable from start to finish.Thank you, Emirates, for a smooth, relaxing, and premium travel experience. I’ll gladly fly with you again.

Won’t use Emirates again!!’

Flew from London to Japan via Dubai, return flight. Outward flight was ok. Return flights, huge queues at Tokyo airport for economy passengers with only one check in desk available. No information as to why huge queues- no assistance with process.Flight from Dubai to London - plane had technical problem, sat on runway for hours, had to deplane and go through security process again, arrived in London five hours late, missed our coach had to rebook and pay again. Spoke with Emirates customer help line, but very disappointed at tone of response- ‘not our problem, tough luck.’ Not a European airline so not covered by any compensation scheme- again, tough luck. Have flown several times with Emirates, won’t choose them again. Very poor customer service!!

Disgusting attitude of staff

Not a good experience with them. Took a multi city trip from Colombo to Dubai and then to London 2 days later.First flight: appalling attitude of flight attendants; long faces, slow response times to call button and pathetic excuses for the WiFi not working for the duration of the flight. They policed the “extra leg room” seats with almost a marshall style approach and seemed to relish moving people out of them as they are paid for seats. They were ALL empty - at £80 a seat that’s not surprising. Flight 2: problems even before boarding. I was travelling with a friend who is a silver member on a separate booking and he had contacted Emirates to ask if he could take another passenger into the Emirates lounge. The response was yes, if travelling on the same flight. This was confirmed again when asking the question at check in. When we got to the lounge we were quite aggressively told that this was not the case at all. We showed them the email received and they maintained that it was incorrect and we could not enter unless I paid 550 AED (over £100). I asked if they did not think that the email was a little misleading and the response was disgraceful - “not my problem”. We both went to another lounge. My friend flies extensively both with work and on a personal level and has recently relocated to Dubai. He will be using other airlines from now on.

What a Horrible Flight experience on Flight EK730, B777 - 300 on 28.05.2025 #Emirates 😐

I love Emirates because of the comfort it promotes and the reputation. But as a first timer I don't think I can board it again if there is more Crew members (TIRED, LOOKING STRESED, IRRITATED) like Ms. Islem.Today as we closed off our 5 years anniversary celebration with my partner, heading back to Dubai excited to take off and proceed on usual business with my partner. Checked in well, and then proceeded to board B777 - 300 where I found a Tired, Stressed or rather irritated crew member "Ms. Islem" my partner and i were seated on 47A/47B which she was shocked with that came with a loud question "are you staff?" My partner looking at me in wonder and bothered. We responded No we are NOT. she then demanded our boarding pass which indicated our seat numbers. She still looked puzzled like we were seated in a wrong place or on a wrong flight as she returned the passes to us. All our smiles and warmth were shuttered by Ms. Islem hardly taking off. We then git worried of if she will be the one attending to us and it turned out we were right to worry.As if that wasn't enough, time for our long waited meal came and guess who the crew to serve was "Ms. Islem" it was. She tells us she only has Chicken for main 😃 like there was no Menu that was issued prior to our meal 😡 my partner doesn't eat chicken, mushrooms but not allergic and I don't fancy them either. We politely told her we want 2 beef. And she was like only chicken available. I repeated we want 2 beef as we don't eat chicken and her response was for an "am tired am stressed and irritated with my Job" she said since you don't want to eat chicken I can only give you the plate with a starter and Desert without the Main. As I got shocked with how much I paid for our ticket with no discount or promotion. But we are being served like we are being done a FAVOUR. Because of Hunger, my partner had to to eat the chicken with Mushrooms that she had taken years Years of not eating with the mushrooms she has never eaten. I bless God for No ALLERGY yet.I will never forget "Ms. Islem" perhaps to avoid her is to look for another Airline for My travels to avoid embarrassment and disappointment on a world class Airline like Emirates. A huge thanks to her colleague Ms. Ashley who was so lively, sweet and professional. I guess she noticed how un happy we were. I must say as well we weren't the only ones Ms. Islem treating wity the i dont care attitude but her colleagues as well who were coming to her for assistance. Ps. I booked my tickets 3 months inadvance, paid full amount but towait for a Horrible Flight Experienceas a First timer. Untill now I still canSee Ms. Islems un smily face withlack of professionalism in my mind

RUDE STAFF!!

RUDE STAFF!!! NEVER USE EMIRATES EVER AGAIN staff at Dubai airport is the rudest Staff ever, don’t have manners to talk to you CHARGE SOO MUCH AND staff don’t have no manners how to treat customers!!! Flight Departed 1 hour late and we end up missed our flight and no customer service was able to Help at all! Will never use this Airline EVER AGAIN!!!!! I Just looked at Rating no wonder it’s 1.8 LOWEST RATING EVER!!!!

Disappointed

We were due to fly from kasane ro glasgow on the 29th of may. Got an email on the 26th that kasane to Johannesburg was cancelled. No offer of alternative or explanation. Had to go and recharge my phone 3 times as livechat wasn't working...phoned and finally got flight rearranged......don't need this stress at the end of a holiday
