First time flying with Emirates I am very disappointed firstly no information I have to order vegetarian meal 1 week before flight ( I find out that on first flight so no meals for me ) and flying back from Dubai to London our baggage was delayed ( delivered after 2 days to address) 1 bag damaged covering on white paint that was on 1 of May 2025 putting complain to costumer service no compensation offered put one other complaint and after 3 weeks no response! Never had so bad experience flying and paying so high price it’s seems they only cares for First class and higher passengers thanks
flight MAN-DXB return on the A380 economy upper deck , seamless experience , left on time arrived on time . Cabin spotless , ambient lighting best in class . Toilets , size of some bedrooms in central London, White Company toiletries . I don’t eat plane meals unless flying first or business class so cannot comment but it smelled decent . Drinks on demand , pleasant enough flight attendants. Upper deck felt like a cozy bedroom in the sky , highly recommended !
I travel with Emirates from Pakistan to uk on 29 April 2025. We had a lay over in Dubai. They lost my suitcase. I have been calling everyday to find out where my suitcase is . The only answer i get we are tracing. They are not giving me any information or compensation so disappointed. Very bad customer service.
We flew business from Perth, Western Australia to Barcelona in late April 2025.The Emirates Business lounge in Perth was impeccable. Beautifully laid out clean and the staff were great. Best food and drink we have had in any business lounge yet. Could not be faulted in our opinion. We flew business on the A380 . Great comfort and very attentive staff. Lay flat beds and pyjamas provided. We found food to be fresh and tasty. All in all a very good flying experience.
Flew Casablanca to Dubai and Dubai to Perth. Both flights comfortable and good service. Left headphones on the first flight and thought that was the end of that. Contacted Emirates lost property when we arrived home and they located them and put them on a flight to Perth where I've just collected them. Fantastic after sales service, thank you.
Terrible customer service from Emirates and complete chaos at Dubai Airport – never again!I flew with Emirates on April 20, 2025, from Frankfurt to Dubai (Flight EK046). The scheduled departure was 15:15, but the flight was delayed and we didn’t leave until after 18:00, arriving late in Dubai.Because of this delay, we missed our connecting flight to Phuket (EK378, scheduled for 02:30). Once we arrived at Dubai Airport, the experience turned into a nightmare. We were sent back and forth between counters for hours without any clear information. The Emirates ground staff were rude, uncooperative, and extremely disorganized. After long and stressful discussions, we were finally issued a hotel voucher – but without any food or drink included. My friend, who holds a Thai passport, had to apply for a visa on arrival, which meant waiting for another 3–4 hours. In the end, we had only 2 hours to rest at the hotel before needing to return to the airport for the next available flight.I submitted multiple complaints through Emirates’ official website and sent several emails, but received no response whatsoever. Not even an acknowledgment or apology. For an airline that advertises itself as a premium brand, this was a truly disappointing and unacceptable experience.Never flying Emirates again.
What you see in Emirates’ commercial is fake for most of us, it’s only for First Class passengers. Their Economy, Premium and Business Classes are very mediocre. But I’m writing this review today because Emirates CEO, Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, is cheap and his airline policies are against regular people and especially people with disabilities. After all, they are still developing nation in the Middle East with poor human rights record. They don’t know how to deal with problems, because they suppress opposing opinions. I saw limitations in their growth. No wonder I heard only overly positive opinions about Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum in Dubai because people are so afraid to speak out. If they do, they get what we got. Emirates can’t even compensate a few hundred dollars for what the company did wrong to our disabled son. We were not asking much, only a refund of our upgraded seats but the service we did not receive. The incident was reported to the Captain in the middle of the flight and even a voucher was issued, still Emirates refused to accept their fault and refund our upgrade fees. We exhausted our efforts to communicate with unresponsive customer service department as well as their headquarters in the UAE and offices in USA with pictures of water dangerously dripping on the electric component of my seat, not to mention on my clothes. I personally stood on my seat and put towels in the compartment to stop water leaks temporarily. We were forced to stand during the flight for an extended time while the water kept dripping. A lead flight attendant forcefully took my phone away when I was recording the incidents and yelled out loud that it’s illegal and he would notify security. The entire scene was displayed in front of our son and frightened him. We suggested the Emirates customer service to interview the passengers around us so they would learn exactly what happened. Instead, they only told us that an alternative seat was offered to us but we declined. Of course we declined because our autistic son who requires attention and medication couldn’t sit by himself if I moved to another seat, which was by the way not an upgraded seat we paid for and far from our son.I just had a great experience with another airline that upgraded me from a Premium Economy to Business from Japan to San Francisco when they didn’t do anything wrong to me, they just overbooked the Premium Economy. Another airline refunded me within hours a seat upgrade I made because a flight was delayed and I had to settle for a less desirable seat, even though the delay was not their airline’s fault but a connecting flight by a different carrier. Airlines in Europe and North America have stricter rules and therefore they compensate for their mistakes. Emirates is still second tier or lower. When they make mistakes they can’t make it right. I appreciate you all for reading and I sincerely hope you won’t have to go through what we went through. Please do not fly with Emirates. You deserve better.
During my trip, Emirates rebooked my return flights with a 28 hour layover in between legs. On calling Customer Services they said there were no alternative flights but that accommodation would be provided, but when we landed in Dubai at 3am, we were directed around the airport for two hours as different desks said other people could help, then told we needed to book and pay for our hotel ourselves, but to write to Customer Services to request reimbursement once home. The initial response to my request referred to a pre-trip change that hadn't caused the long layover and rejected it on that basis, despite me providing all the details and supporting documentation by email. I am still waiting for them to look at this again. I am surprised and disappointed at the service.
THIS WAS THE WORST TRAVEL EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. I got sick with severe bronchitis and sinus infection right before my flight. I was having difficulty breathing and coughing non-stop due to lungs that were full of mucus. I was extremely sick and in NO shape to fly 20 hours to Mumbai. I contacted Emirates regarding this matter, providing them with a 5 day notice ahead of my flight out of courtesy that I was sick and needed to move the date of my flight forward a few days to accommodate for my illness so that I could recover before flying. THEY DID NOT CARE. Emirates said they would charge me nearly $400 to shift the date of my flight date forward. They required me to contact my travel agency that I used to book the flight and have me submit a medical waiver to have Emirates "consider" waiving the exorbitant re-scheduling fee. I went to my physician and submitted all the appropriate medical documentation, including a letter from my physician directly saying that I am "unfit to fly" given my poor health status. You know how much Emirates cared about my illness? Not one damn iota. Despite all of this, Emirates REJECTED my medical waiver on the ground stating that a member of my family would have to DIE before they would waive their outrageous re-scheduling fee. THIS IS A SHAME. You're telling me a multi-billion-dollar per year airline cannot support their customers by waiving a re-scheduling fee when the passenger is CLEARLY unable to fly due to health problems?? This is an absolute disgrace. THIS WAS THE WORST experience I have ever had with ANY airline. And I fly A LOT and have flown on MANY airlines. Needless to say, I WILL NEVER fly Emirates again and I will tell me HORRIBLE story to everyone within my extensive network who is considering flying with Emirates. They have HORRIBLE, TERRIBLE customer service. Absolutely disappointing. Please, NEVER FLY EMIRATES.
