Auckland-Dubai-Zurich.Bkd z.lehmannI had an incident with Cathay Pacific in Auckland airport. I booked then Business class ticket with Emirates. The same ground handling staff for Cathay Pacific was also handling Emirates in Auckland. I checked in and went to emirates lounge. Then came Rep of Emirates with another staff who stated himself as the highest manager of Auckland Airport which was a lie because I found out name of airport manager online later. They called me out of the lounge and the rep Maca is her name from Emirates, told me that they have to offload me from their aircraft due to incident with Cathay Pacific. I called the police to ask, what is it about, they told me that auckland airport ground staff are like kindergarden family and they talk to each other about all. I am not a violent person, neither I am any sought of criminal.cathay pacific offloaded me just because I told the station manager who was so very rude, to act polite and professional and not to be so racist. He was giggling eyeing towards me with his staff. Anyhow so based upon favouring cathay pacific colleagues, without any written report or any confirmation, emirates rep maca offloaded me from their aircraft. This caused me emotional distress, humiliation and they made me feel like i wud be a criminal. I never had such an experience and never saw someone went through such a distress. This is against human right.
Booked directly with Emirates thinking it has benefits such as changes in dates destinations etc but it seems there are worst then the travel agents when it comes to fees and fares cancellation charges per ticket £200 change of dates or departure airport change £500 minimum plus fare difference which in my case was around about £200 which I can understand and which I was willing to pay but not the £500 as I thought that was a unnecessary charge. I paid extra when booking my flights as I could have got them cheaper at the time booking via a travel agent but thought booking directly through Emirates would be better due to any changes etc but does not seem to be the case won't be booking with Emirates no more.
Crews are stressed, appear under typical bad management, the overall digital experience with Emirates is very bad, their site is basically useless. Trying to reach them for help, assistance and support is quasi impossible. In the aircraft some crew members were rude and having an inappropriate behavior, constantly waking me up while sleeping, hitting my head and shoulders and hitting my knew with the carts at full speed, without saying sorry once. I would really recommend using a better airline. Huge disappointment. All the signs of a terribly managed company with fat old men sitting on top making everyone's lives miserable. Get a life and stop working in service.
We booked our summer flights back to the uk and used the unaccompanied minors service as our children were 13 and 11. We used this service last year and it really helped with organising our summer plans - we have now found out there was a massive issue with the service. After talking to our children about this, our eldest daughter Isabel, mentioned that on the flight last year a male passenger sat next to her for a significant amount of time. We were surprised that she hadn't mentioned this before but she said she was embarrassed and a little confused and didnt want to get herself or the flight attendants into trouble. She mentioned that the flight attendant did ask the male passenger to vacate the seat but only after about an hour. Isabel was in great distress throughout this ordeal/experience. She doesn't want to fly unaccompanied again. We are incredibly disappointed and shocked this could have happened when they offered this service at an extra cost, assuring that our children would be sat away from any other passengers. We are still unsure of what happened on the flight in that hour of when the flight attendants left our child unattended and vulnerable through gross negligence. I have asked them to please get back to me on how and why this could have happened. Up to know I have had no response from Emirates.
I recently had the pleasure of flying with Emirates on four different flights within a two-week period, and I must say that the entire experience was truly flawless. While there was a slight delay in departure, it was no more than 25 minutes, which is quite impressive considering the complexities of air travel. The flight arrival was always punctual.Additionally, there was a minor inconvenience with the air conditioning on the aircraft during the return trip, as it was a bit too cold. However, I came prepared with a hoodie in my carry-on, knowing that this can be a common occurrence, and there was a blanket provided on board at every seat, ensuring that I remained comfortable throughout the journey.I opted for the Economy class, and I have nothing but praise for the airline. The staff members were incredibly polite, to the point where their level of professionalism seemed almost unreal. They were also extremely helpful and accommodating, especially when it came to serving meals.I once encountered a small problem with the sink in the aircraft's restroom, as the previous customer had closed the outflow, making it difficult for the water to drain properly. However, with a simple press of the assistance button in the restroom, a steward promptly came to my aid and resolved the issue. This level of attentiveness and responsiveness truly exceeded my expectations. The seats on the aircraft were also worth mentioning, as they were both nice and comfortable. Another noteworthy aspect is that Emirates allows passengers to select any available seat in advance during the check-in process, and this service comes at no extra charge. Furthermore, they offer a variety of meal preferences (available to select during check-in online, at least 24h before the flight), including vegan and vegetarian options, which are often quite delicious and are more than sufficient to keep you feeling satiated throughout the journey. When it came to my luggage, I was relieved to find that it arrived safely and everything inside was intact (despite the loss of a zipper pull on an external pocket of my luggage). I had packed fragile items, such as glass bottles wrapped in bubble wrap, as well as instant noodles, which I expected to be at least slightly crushed. However, to my surprise, everything was in perfect condition, ensuring a stress-free travel experience.During my layover in Dubai, I was pleased to discover that there were numerous well-maintained toilets throughout the airport. What's more, these facilities even included drinking water fountains, allowing me to easily refill my bottle. This convenience made a significant difference for me, and I wish more airports would implement such thoughtful amenities.Overall, I can confidently say that my experience with Emirates was exceptional. From the friendly and accommodating staff to the comfortable seats, reliable luggage handling, and convenient amenities at the airport, every aspect of my journey was top-notch. I highly recommend Emirates to anyone seeking a remarkable airline experience.
