Despite my initial attraction to their diverse insurance option, my overall experience has been satisfactory. Timely assistance is vital in financial sector and unfortunately this specific features fell short of my expectations. I never faced such issue with “Easy bee” a program that has consistently proven to be beneficial in my life.
Paid farmers insurance for years and when we contacted our farmers agent cb barns to tell him farmers insurance must pay for damages on our vehicle he emailed us back saying terrorists must stop contacting me.That's what farmers is all about just taking your money and being unprofessional.
They acted in bad faith and used the Old Google satellite photo to cancel my policy! They didn't even ask me about, could they do a visit or anything to maintain the policy, they did this because they thought I was going to claim any service to repair the roof of my property but it is not necessary to do that. I never used the insurance. Previous and would never use it for anything deceptive, they acted in very bad faith.
Farmers Insurance lost my business after 30 years. This is a lengthy story but my insurance agent advised that he couldn't provide me with the best rates because my file with LexisNexis showed claims. I didn't remember making the claims so I reached out to LexisNexis asking them for details about these claims. Weeks later LexisNexis replied back that the claims could not be verified. I let my agent know that. He checked my file a couple of weeks later and those claims were still listed. I reached out to LexisNexis again and this time they advised me that Farmers insurance did confirm the claim from 2020.There was no claim filed, the "accident" was the fault of the illegally parked vehicle and trailer. A truck with a low trailer that could not be seen from my rear view mirror was illegally parked on a strip of grass behind a row of legal parking spaces. I taped the back of my bumper against the trailer. I got out and could see no damage to the trailer and minimal damage to my bumper. I did what I thought I was supposed to do and reported it to Farmers. I never filed a claim and Farmers paid nothing. Their report shows I was not at fault and the representative with Farmers assured me this would in absolutely no way impact my rates. That was not true because I am not being told I am not eligible for the best rates because of this illegally parked vehicle on my file as an accident/claim. I have reached out to the Florida Department of Financial Services they said I needed to have LexisNexis remove it. I've gone back and forth between LexisNexis and Farmers and niether want to take ownership and keep bouncing me back and forth between them. So I'm being punished in the form of higher rates due to someone else's negligence and LexisNexis and Farmers will do nothing.
I recently had an outstanding experience with Farmers Insurance that truly exceeded my expectations. From the onset, their customer service was impeccable - friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to go the extra mile to assist. When I faced an unexpected issue, their response was prompt and efficient, ensuring a smooth resolution that left me thoroughly impressed. The comprehensive coverage options they offered were tailored perfectly to my needs, providing peace of mind and excellent value for money. Moreover, the ease and clarity of their claims process stood out as a highlight, making what is often a stressful situation remarkably hassle-free. Overall, Farmers Insurance has proven to be a reliable and customer-focused provider, deserving of the highest recommendation for anyone seeking quality insurance services.
I have had Farmers Insurance for 33 years for my home and was paying it through my escrow account. I now have my home paid off and found the new charge for annual insurance too high. I found another company lthst is reasonable and canceled my insurance. They charged me $85 for the 10 days that covered me and I did not get that bill until it was past due in the mail. No agent bothered to call me and they sent it to a collection agency. I never got a call from agent! I have paid it but if this is the way you treat a customer of 33 years that had one small claim in all those years. You are lousy and I will share this with friends and family. Shame on you!!!!!
I’d give negative stars if possible. We received notice that our homeowners was not going to be renewed because of debris creating unsafe conditions. Our agent, encouraged me to contact the California insurance commission. I did. My backyard is used unconventionally, but now I’m having issue finding homeowners to replace farmers because we now have a reputation as being hoarders. My youngest is autistic and prone to violent outbursts, our backyard is his refuge. Farmers AND the California Insurance Commission DO NOT CARE. Still, container gardens must go, picnic table, chairs, apparently all these things are dangerous debris. Barbecue, fire pit, can’t have any of these things. Is my backyard messy? Yes. Is it dangerous? No.
Worst customer experience ever. My agent had informed me trees needed to be trimmed away from my house or I may be cancelled. I called a crew out and had it done the next week. She came and took pictures to send to Corporate and told me it looked good. Two months later I received notice—not from Sabine, not from Farmers, but from MY BANK-- that my policy had been cancelled 10 days prior.I don’t know who dropped the ball, my agent or Farmers, but it wasn’t me. I found the agent to be largely unresponsive to the issue and found another company to go with three weeks after the cancellation. I intend to let the State insurance board know what happened. Maybe I’m not the only one this has happened to. Maybe it was less a mistake and more a tactic… like Red Lining.
I've been with the company for 8 years. They decided to change my payment schedule and said they sent a letter in the mail asking me to confirm the banking info. I never received this and they canceled my insurance without notification. No certified letter or email. Then they wouldn't reinstate. Stay away from this company.
When I purchased my Home 1 year ago in October my Real Estate suggested Farmers Insurance & I spoke with Nicholas Chupp & because I was in the middle of my closing & inspections I did not want to go through the hassle of switching my 4 vehicles as well so he quoted me $787.00 so now I find out a year later that Farmers raised me to $1500 I found same coverage through Auto Owners for $1051 & now I am still waiting for my refund since Dec. 6th so when I called the office yesterday Jeff said well Peggy if you don't receive the refund by New Year then give us a call back. Merry Christmas!!!

Different Eras, Same Exceptional Service
Farmers not only prides itself on helping you plan wisely for the unexpected, but also on helping restore order when it occurs, so you can keep moving along the road of your life’s plans.
In 1959 a Farmers customer wrote us a letter of surprised gratitude when his car battery was replaced just an hour after it was stolen. A letter from a couple in 2002 wrote that their Farmers agent and Claims Adjuster “were exceptional in their handling of our grief, what we needed to do, and helpful in many other ways.” That same year, when Hurricane Rita struck Beaumont, Texas, Farmers sent 300 agents to assess damages while policy holders were evacuated. Farmers also donated $100,000 for the city’s emergency operations center and two megawatt generators that restored power to Beaumont. Whatever year or decade a disaster occurs, you can count on us to be there for you.
