I have been using fizz for about a month now and it has been great. It's a lot cheaper and more convenient than the other big providers in Canada. The have a good discount program and I leave my code at the end. The service has been really good in the Ottawa area as well. G1IJX
Watch out when you return the modem, we got charged a $250 fee despite dropping the modem at Canada post desk at Brunet pharmacy in Pointe Saint-Charles. We have followed all the required steps that fizz team shared by email (from label printing to box dropping). There is NO customer service number nor email where to file a complaint; they only offer a limited whatapp chat (box being dropped mid Oct - return number ref#PR276856)
More than 7 days to configurate a new modem after mine got dammaged. Very vage customer service chat answers such as "our technicians are doing everything possible" which is doubtful if after 7 days the situation was still going. Extremely frustrating. Nobody able to take things in charge. Had to unsuscribe after waiting in vain for so long.
I purchased a Fizz SIM card on the recommendation of a friend, and I received the card quickly. However, when I tried to activate the service, I encountered an issue that prevented me from finalizing the activation. So I contacted customer service via chat, but the agent was unable to resolve the issue. A ticket was opened on the first day, and the next day I received an email from Fizz saying the issue was resolved, which it wasn't.I had to open a second ticket on the second day and followed up three times for news, still without a satisfactory response. This process took three days, and ultimately my only option was to request a refund for the SIM card, having received no solution from Fizz.I am currently waiting for this refund. I would like to point out that the agents with whom I spoke were professional, but the Fizz company, for its part, does not treat its customers with the necessary seriousness, showing no real interest in resolving problems.Based on my experience, I wouldn't recommend Fizz to anyone looking for good support. This is unfortunate, as I am usually a loyal customer to my suppliers. As a result, Fizz lost the trust of three potential customers for a long period of time. I wish new customers good luck and hope they have a better experience than mine, which was disappointing.Edit: Finally had the issue resolved the problem was that the SIM card that was sent to me was not for the required service, they made the corrections to it and now the service is working as it should. It was a frustrating experience, but decided to move forward with the activation due to the price competitiveness
Customer service is absolutely abysmal. The phone works fine as a plan but if anything goes wrong expect little to no customer service. Regurgitating copy pastes off their FAQ and not answering any questions or asking questions that you already answered a few times. I was told it was a human agent but the regurgitation of info I already said I knew was stupid. No actual resolution. So in the end you get what you pay for which is a cheap service and no responsibility.
If cancelling your mobile phone contract (with the required 72 hour notice), plan ahead for the likelihood that Fizz will cut off your service a day earlier than stated. They did it to us while visiting as tourists and it made our last days very difficult!
