I’ve had a very positive experience with Fizz so far. The plans are affordable, flexible, and easy to manage through the app. Activation was simple, and the service has been reliable with good coverage. I also like the rewards program and the ability to customize my plan. Overall, a great option if you want good value and no hassle.
Make your plans more flexible. Not everyone requires 60GB of data. Instead, focus on offering affordability rather than pushing large data packages that many, like me, will never use. What I wanted was a plan with 20-30GB of data for around $29. Your system was too rigid to provide this option. It's frustrating that the only choices available jump from 10GB to 60GB. This is one of the most unfair selections I’ve ever encountered.
PILE OF STEAMING SHI* AVOID AT ALL COSTS. SHAMELESS COMPANY THAT HAS MANY TECHNICAL ISSUES ON THEIR WEBSITE THEY CANNOT FIX BUT WILL KEEP YOUR MONEY EVEN SO SINCE THE ESIM THEY CAN'T ACIVATE WILL EXPIRE. THEIR TECHNICAL TEAM IS ABSOLUTELY USELESS. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE OR YOU'LL REGRET IT.
Ops ! They all gave up, and you will have to give up on them too. Having needed to change my Fizz SIM card, I went to the only official point of sale to receive the following notification: There is no longer an official point of sale for purchasing Fizz SIM cards. Fizz no longer sells SIM cards for mobile devices and therefore no longer accepts new customers. Now, let's be serious for two little seconds. A company that is backtracking like this and no longer accepting new clients is a company on the brink of collapse. They have abandoned their future clientele, and at this rate, they will soon be closing their doors. Before you find yourself in a bind, get yourself another company right now. Not at the last second when it will be too late.
Signed up 3 cell phone plans. Port was easy.4th plan failed. Something had triggered a fraud alert flag on the account. Probably a system glitch. They refused to investigate root cause, just wanted to remove the flag, for which their processes requires a photo of the credit card (one their system has already accepted three times).Agents not interested in answering questions, either they don't know and are scared to say so, or they are trained and rewarded to evade.One agent lied, said my credit card company had declined.They assured me their chat app was secure, so I relented and sent a photo. A day later the image is still on the app, in full view. They use a 3rd party chat app, so it's not even on a server they are in charge of.Another agent tried hard to deny that it is hosted elsewhere, until I screenshot the page code and showed him/her the URL of their chat provider. Then reverted to "I assure you 100% it's secure".I couldn't be less impressed with their security processes or their ability to understand and/or their approach to acknowledging their customer's concerns.
I've used many different mobile service providers in Canada. I've been with Fizz for three years. The bonus is that it's very easy to set up for the first time, and in general I have no complaints with the service, which is extremely competitive in terms of price. Where Fizz is frustrating is their website. Just trying to add a travel add-on takes 10 minutes; the site is not intuitive and tends to take you in circles rather than where you want to go. Another limitation is international calling. It has been impossible in many situations to add an option for international calls as Fizz simply doesn't have connections with networks globally. The limits were head scratchers in some cases (England? France? Really?) Perhaps that will change with time. I'm leaving this review here because the Fizz website prompted me to review their service on Google. That link was dead. Par for the course; their website seems designed to waste your time. Summary: Fizz is a great deal for the money and easy to get going but be prepared for frustration with the website. And you will need to use the website to make changes to your plan.
Great when it works, switching to Rogers. There is NO customer service except via chat window lol, not even email. My modem died, no lights, door stop. Had to tether off my phone for work lol. Took five days to wind way through multiple non-responsive chats to "Your appointment has been scheduled for April 5 between 07:30 17:00" - so don't do anything saturday. When asked to narrow down appointment time got "This information will be available in our database tomorrow." - could not find any related info on my profile etc. Grim.
I've had a great experience with Fizz Mobile! Although there were a few hiccups at the start, their customer service has been excellent. They offer great perks, and the plan options and customizations are just awesome. I love how you can tailor your plan to fit your needs, so you're not paying extra for stuff you don't use. For example, I was able to choose Ontario-wide calls and texts since I don't make calls outside of Ontario, saving me money. Plus, the ability to gift data to other users on my Fizz Crew is amazing. And the data rollover feature, where unused data rolls over to the next month, ensures I never lose out on what I've paid for. Highly recommend!
