Unrealiable

Unrealiable. Doesnt follow the schedule. In addition, when contacted, sends A4 format email. When I replied, got the same email. I suppose, so called customer service has been instructed to answer the same crap, or it is a bot.I would suggest to cut the crap and go to see how competitors work or you will always be company that is used only if there are no other option.

Review of My DC to NYC Bus Trip – Unprofessional Driver Behavior

I recently traveled with a friend from Washington, DC to New York City by bus. I purchased a round-trip ticket online and had both QR codes saved on my phone. The Bethesda trip to Union Station (31st Street, NYC) was fine. The driver had poor manners and wasn’t particularly friendly, but the ride itself went smoothly and we arrived on time.The return trip is where things went wrong. My friend and I mistakenly went to 31st Street assuming it was the same location for our return trip. However, when we showed our tickets to the driver, he pointed out that our pick-up location was actually 28 Allen Street. At that point, it was only five minutes before departure and we didn’t have time to the correct location so we explained our situation to the driver at 31st Street and asked if we could board his bus instead. We had valid roundtrip tickets for the same day, same company, same destination and same departure time, the only difference was the pick-up location. The driver said there were empty seats and agreed to take us, but only if we paid him in cash. Since we didn’t have any cash and he had never heard of Zelle or Venmo, I told him my husband would meet us in DC and pay him directly. He agreed. We boarded and everything seemed fine, until we got to one of the regular rest stops. I stepped off the bus briefly to get water, while my friend stayed on board with our bags. That’s when the driver approached her, yelling that she needed to get off the bus, go into the visitor center and withdraw cash from the ATM. She didn’t feel comfortable leaving our luggage unattended, so she called me in distress. I rushed back and confronted the driver. I reminded him that we had already agreed to resolve the payment in DC, and that we had valid tickets, the only issue was the pick-up spot. His reaction was aggressive and completely unnecessary. . Only after realizing we weren’t paying him cash, he suddenly told us our assigned bus was parked nearby the whole time, something he hadn’t mentioned earlier.. He angrily told us to get off his bus and go board the one we were supposed to be on. So in the end, that’s what we did. While we take full responsibility for the confusion about the pick-up location, the way the driver handled the situation was aggressive, manipulative, and unprofessional. He acted in his own interest not the company's or the passengers. We were not trying to cheat or ride for free, we simply misunderstood the pick-up spot and had valid tickets for that time. I hope the company takes this feedback seriously and trains its drivers to handle such situations with professionalism and fairness. Passengers should never be yelled at or pressured for cash in the middle of a trip. Mistakes happen but how employees respond to them is what defines the customer experience.

No regard for customers

38 degree celsius, bus did not arrive. I waited an additional of 45 minutes, in the hottest day I could ever get in Barcelona, nothing... I leave, because I could not stand anymore because of the heat. Also bonus points for not a single seat in that location. Customer support tells me they cannot reimburse for a delay less than 120 minutes. Complete disregard for customers, actually even scam. How can I sit in 38 degrees weather to wait 2 hours for a bus??? Also I had a return journey too, and guess what, not a single dime returned.

Appalling service. Horrible travel experience.

We waited for 2 and a half hours at the bus station at Tivat. We weren't even sure if the coach was going to come at all. Additionally the driver was rude and it charged us just to put the luggage in the storage (which wasn't clear in the email Flixbus sent me) and the trip took two hours more than expected. It was really appealing experience which I hope to never repeat again. I was hoping that Filxbus would use better and more reliable services. When I contacted them for a refund they declined to help.

A friend bought gift cards from a…

A friend bought gift cards from a FlixBus outlet and gave it as a gift to me.And I used it within a month of it being gifted.But it didn’t work and the reason they gave me is that it expired 3 Years ago.They are running a gift card fraud. Be aware of it and never buy a gift card from them.

Bus never arrived

Bus never arrived. I booked through Greyhound. Greyhound could not tell me anything. Said they did not know where the bus was. I called customer service for Flix they could not tell me anything. I tried going on an online chat. First I was told that I had to contact Greyhound. I explained multiple times that it was Flix bus and Greyhound had no idea what was going on. Several times I had to state that it is your bus operated by your company. Finally the online representative came back with that the bus had technical issues and apologized for the inconvenience. I asked what am I supposed to do. Then I was told that the bus departed from Binghamton but at the same time I was told the GPs was not working. I was at the station 30 minutes early for the scheduled bus departure. No bus ever arrived or left for Buffalo from the Binghamton station. There was one gate that Flix busses left from (14). The station attendant in Binghamton confirmed that the bus never arrived and there were passengers waiting to be picked up. When I asked the customer service person on the online chat what to do I was directed to rebook with Greyhound. Greyhound would not refund or rebook until the bus was 2 hours late. When I tried to ask the online chat representative if the next FLIX bus would be arriving on time at 6:05 the representative told me I had to reconnect with the chat and disconnected the conversation. They could care less if I was stranded at a bus station. My friend waited to buy a ticket for the next bus and then was not able to so he was left stranded.I would never use this company again. Terrible.I had to buy a second ticket to make sure I was not stranded in Binghamton for the night. I had to buy a second bus ticket so I would not be stranded in Binghamton for the night. Unsafe, abusive and dishonest journey – Booking 3277803487

I booked a journey for my mother (Booking No. 3277803487, Constanța to Milan Malpensa, 15–17 August 2025) and it turned into a nightmare.Unsafe conditions: no checks for seatbelts, toilets locked for most of the trip, no clear information about stops or transfers. Passengers were terrified of being left behind because buses left suddenly without headcounts.Language barrier: drivers spoke only Romanian while most passengers were international. They ignored non-Romanian speakers completely, and my mother (who understands Romanian) overheard them using extremely vulgar language, such as “dați-vă-n p**a mea”*, directed at passengers.Abuse of trust: in Verona, the driver demanded an extra €20 in cash, without receipt, to continue to the destination. This is effectively extortion.Misinformation: the ticket did not mention a change of bus in Sibiu or transit through France. My mother missed her connection due to this lack of communication and was left in constant fear of being stranded.This was not just poor service – it was unsafe, abusive, and fraudulent. We are demanding a full refund, reimbursement of the €20, and an apology. Until FlixBus takes responsibility and fixes these practices, I strongly advise others to avoid using them for international travel.

I forgot my phone on the bus from…

I forgot my phone on the bus from London to Liverpool. I called my phone as soon as I noticed I had forgotten it. The driver picked up and said she had already left Liverpool, was on the way back to London and that she would drop the phone at Flix Birmingham station for me to pick up.I went on Flix website and submitted a lost and found report. It took them 2 whole weeks to reply and tell me they don't know anything about my phone! Can you imagine that?! It is an iPhone 7, and when I used "Find My Phone" before it went off, it showed that it was in Birmingham.This is simply outrageous! How can a large transportation company like this have such poor customer service?UPDATE: I JUST READ YOUR REPLY. IT SHOWS HOW MUCH LACK OF ATTENTION TO DETAILS YOU HAVE & LACK OF CARE FOR YOUR CUSTOMER.IF YOU ACTUALLY READ MY REVIEW, YOU WOULD HAVE SEEN THAT I ALREADY GOT A REPLY AFTER WAITING TWO WEEKS!ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS CHECK MY BOOKING NUMBER, CHECK MY DATE OF TRAVEL ( WHICH IS 15TH AUGUST) FROM LONDON TO LIVERPOOL, AND FIND THE DRIVER WHO DROVE THE BUS BACK TO LONDON...OR SIMPLY CALL YOUR BIRMINGHAM OFFICE TO VERIFY IF SHE DROPPED THE PHONE THERE...BUT, ARE YOU GOING TO ACTUALLY DO THAT?
