Cowboy bus company. Ryanair of buses

How do you leave zero stars.... First and last time using. Sham. Departure times mean nothing so don't arrive for departure time as defo delayed cos they too cheap to run the actual number of buses. Will delay buses when quiet to join them up with next bus.

Delayed bus, with unpleasant experience

My second time traveling with flixbus, and probably last...I had to wait on the bus, stressing, for almost an hour, without knowing if the bus will even arrive.Waiting for the bus was unpleasant experience, because I had to catch a flight in Krakow.In the Flixbus App "On time" status was displayed and I couldnt see the bus on GPS, because it had some problem. When the bus finally showed up, I calmed down, because I still could catch the flight. But for some unknown reason we stopped on a highway prolonging the delay for another 15 minutes. At that time I started to realize, I might miss my flight, if there were another weird stop like this. So I got off at the stop before (in Katowice), from where I got a Bolt to get me to the Krakow airport. Eventually I got to the airport in time, but it cost me a lot.My first journey was from Ostrava to Prague and It was completly fine. But this experience was a Horror.

Terrible communication and Unpolite drivers

On 25.08.2025, Bus N1909 from Bern to Lyon was delayed by 4 hours. The bus drivers, who spoke only German, behaved in a very unprofessional and impolite manner. They refused to communicate in any other language or provide assistance to passengers regarding the missed connections in Lyon caused by the delay. Instead of helping, they forced the passengers to leave the bus and closed the doors behind them.

Expensive, Dirty station, time taking.

Ticket price is expensive than others like red coach. Bus was not cleaned. The sitting are in Miami as well as Orlando are too dirty. Restrooms in Orlando smell bad and they were messy. No hand soup for washing hands. Finally, the trip time is also longer than other buses.

Terrible experience

Terrible experience. We lost a lot of money and time in our honeymoon trip to the US because of their incompetence. We had booked a bus from Washington DC to Philadelphia on the 24th of august. 10 minutes into the route the AC broke down and the driver just drove us back to the station (1h later), where he left us without any solution. He said he "hoped" that they would send another bus. We waited for 1h more but they didn't send any bus. We went to the counter in the Washington DC station and they said that all the other buses for that day were already full and that they couldn't help us (what exactly are they for then??), they sent us to call the customer service line, which we can't do, because we didn't have a US phone line, only an internet card on our phones. They didn't let us call from there either. We had to stay in Washington and book another night at our previous hotel, while losing the hotel (and the money as well as the deposit) that we had in Philadelphia. We missed the whole city. The next day we booked a bus to NY and it broke down again, it looked like a joke. The driver finally fixed it but a girl was buying some snacks when he called us to step on the bus again, and he almost left her there purposefully, but finally changed his mind and went back. Then he proceeded to call her a "little stupid b*tch" on the phone and other nasty names for the 3 hours that remained. It was very violent and unpleasant. Honestly, we won't be booking with them again, they alone ruined our trip. We didn't get a refund or any other kind of compensation.

Scammers

Scammers! Booked a service from Chamonix to Annecy. We were waiting for the bus half an hour before the scheduled pick up time, and the bus never showed up leaving us stranded. A different Flixbus arrived at the bus station going to a different location, and the employees were rude and had no interest in helping us.DO NOT USE!!!! Ruined our trip and cost us unnecessary time and money!

AVOID! Our bus didn’t turn up. We were stranded!!

We booked 6 buses in total while on holiday and every single one of them was delayed and one didn’t even turn up. We booked a bus from Chamonix to Annecy. Around 10 minutes after our scheduled pick up time, the Flixbus app eventually confirmed the bus was delayed. This delay kept increasing more and more. An hour past from the time it was supposed to collect us and the app said the bus had already been and was on its way to Annecy. We were at the collection point the whole time, no Flixbus arrived.We tried calling the helpline and consistently got cut off. We were stranded in Chamonix with our phones literally about to die. Another Flixbus pulled up. We explained that our bus to Annecy had never turned up and we have no way home. The driver did not care in the slightest, they were rude and said it’s nothing to do with them (although they also work for Flix) and they said they were going to Geneva. We decided our only way home was to go to Geneva which was over an hour out of our way to hopefully get a bus from here to Annecy which was another hour. The driver insisted on cash only, ripped us off with the pricing and gave us no receipt or ticket. Once in Geneva, we got on another flix bus to Annecy, who again ripped us off and gave no receipt or ticket. Both employers just kept the money for themselves. We made it to Annecy over 2 and a half hours after our original scheduled arrival time and paid quadruple to what we should have. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

FlixBus? NEVER AGAIN!!!

My partner and I had planned a special anniversary trip to Naples. We chose to take FlixBus from [departure station] to Venice Airport, as we had an early flight and it seemed like a convenient option.Unfortunately, this decision turned out to be a complete disaster.The first bus was delayed by two hours, which caused us to miss our connecting bus in Trieste—the one that would take us to the airport. We informed the driver of the urgency and kindly asked if they could call ahead to hold the connecting bus. The response we received was both shocking and rude:"You're lucky we even came to pick you up!"Because of this delay and their complete unwillingness to help, we missed our flight and ultimately missed our entire planned vacation.With no other option, we booked a return trip—only to face another delay, this time over three hours. The driver almost refuse to board us on the bus since it is inconvient for him to take us back home!After all of this, FlixBus refused to refund any of the bus tickets, not to mention the flight and hotel costs that were lost because of their service failure.To make matters worse, they cited a policy stating that tickets over 15 euros aren’t refundable. We read through their entire refund policy, and there is no such rule anywhere. This is either complete misinformation or a dishonest excuse.We will never be using FlixBus again, and we strongly advise others to think twice before trusting them—especially if you have time-sensitive connections or important travel plans. And if you do choose them, be extremely cautious—because when things go wrong (and they very well might), you’re on your own.
