I cannot understand why Flying Tiger is rated so low as I've had nothing but good experiences with their shops in store and online. The products are good quality and fairly priced. I've got so many unique gifts from FT over the years, especially for kids
Bought two of the Spillekonsol Game consoles as presents in store at Lakeside.The battery compartment on both has a tiny screw holding the compartment closed. There is nothing, literally nothing, that will turn this screw - not even a tiny screwdriver - so it's completely unusable.
I’ve have attempted to contact the company numerous times. No option for a telephone call.My order arrived with most of it missing and one item poorly wrapped and broken.Absolutely no response from my online claim.No sign of the rest of the order that I have paid for. Absolute joke to call theirs “customer service”No NOT order online
I bought some items for Christmas, and one arrived broken, which I was not surprised about as it was very poorly packaged for a glass Christmas Bauble... I was refunded for the item that was broken, however, it should not have even happened in the first place! By poorly packaged, the box it was put in was far too large for the items within it. This has nothing to do with environmental concerns, if anything, there was excess packaging which I would call wasteful...
I understand that the bulk of frustration has been with the courier but when you contact customer service for assistance, there is none at all, only massive delays and the case closed. Edit: TWICE.Made a purchase on 30/11/23, more than enough time for Christmas delivery since it should have been delivered in 5-7 days. On 3/12/23 they say it's on the way, the tracking number is incorrect. I then have a different tracking number from Yodel except Yodel's tracking claims they don't have it from Flying Tiger yet. I contact Flying Tiger on 7/12/23 and don't get a response initially (fair enough I had been warned I might not hear for 8 working days - although this time frame is ridiculous). I follow up to say Yodel claim they could not deliver on two occasions 9/12/23 and 13/12/23, the parcel was not delivered when I requested a redelivery (as I would not be in) and I asked for their assistance. Flying Tiger opened my customer service case on 15/12/23 and immediately closed it telling me to contact Yodel myself and if it was not sorted by today, they'd look into helping. Contacted Yodel by chat because you can't get through to humans and of course (one of the cheapest couriers with infamously bad service) has "lost" my parcel in the depot and have asked what the parcel contained so they could search for it. Yodel then lie and say it's out for delivery on 16/12/23 but the driver couldn't locate my address. I was lied to yesterday and told it would be delivered today (which would apparently be the 4th attempt even though it's not actually been traced since 9/12/23 in their depot) and this morning been told there's no sign of it!The problem with all of this is that if I had the initial assistance with this, I would not be running around trying to shop elsewhere for a large order a week before Christmas, whilst being down on funds as I am now facing a wait of up to 8 working days for any shred of customer support and I assume up to 5 working days for a refund after that.Update: Despite updating them on what's happened, my email was responded to again to advise me to contact Yodel directly. No refund offered at all. My next steps are to reach out to UKICC.
Having ordered my goods in was a bit concerned when I read the reviews about delays in delivery. However, my parcel arrived fully complete and well packed after 12 days (within the 2-17 days specified). True there was very little communication on tracking prior to delivery, but I put this down to Yodel rather than Flying Tiger. Flying Tiger sent order confirmation, invoice and shipping info very speedily. I have since placed a further order - again speedily dealt with by FT, including an immediate refund for items unavailable. I am happy with the service received and will continue to buy online from this company as I love their products, and not everything needs to arrive next day.
