Complete joke , been with Austar/foxtel 18 years . Transferred Austar box to foxtel box , no service for a month , called many times and get overseas, have no reception, been sent 2 boxes and many cables but think it is satellite dish. Live in a town with 6,000 people and classed as remote, no technician available. Going to dump this useless company.
The help via the app is hopeless. They did not recognise my account. I gave them my name, address, account number, mobile, email. They did not recognise the phone number and refused to help me. I have been a customer for 20 plus years
The website can not help you, the FAQ can not help you, the Automated Support can not help you, and the Live Support can only pass you from one person to another and will not answer even the simplest of queries.. worst experience ever and the issues remain unsolved... better to just cancel the sub..
Contacted Foxtel for the 6th time this year. Usual problems - service dropping out and IQ3 box works when it wants. Totally unreliable equipment. After lengthy delays on the phone, I finally got a foreign call centre with a person that barely spoke English. Expected me to do all the troubleshooting & “fix” their appalling equipment. Told them to send a technician, because of recurring problems. Told it would be a week. Appalling. Technician finally turns up - plays with box & leads and gets connection going. Tells me their equipment is crap (as if I didn’t know). Three days after visit, the same drop out & disconnection problems start occurring. The most pathetic provider with the most pathetic customer service ever. Do not use. Go to another provider, at a fraction of the price.
Called today to cancel the service my mum had after she had passed away. When explaining to the staff member I was then asked why I didnt call sooner as it had been so long since she had passed (10 weeks) and now there were unpaid charges. Only after I replied firmly that unfortunately this was not the first thing on my mind was I met with any condolences. Foxtel should be ashamed for the culture and type of people they hire.
had an account with foxtel and purchased several boxes. when i did not renew account was still using box for internet connection on old TVs. they recently cut this off so i am unable to use the box for anything without a current account. no warning given. all inthe bin for good. good bye foxtel
Absolute dogs, worst Australian company in Australian history. You'd think during a pandemic where nsw was locked down and lots of people were out of work for months, that an Australian company like foxtel would offer compassion and help their customers. But of course telstra owns foxtel so I guess that's a joke in itself
FOXTEL live chat support was terrible. 30 minute wait then took 10 minutes for them to even look at my account details. I was then given some links which didn't work.Technician didn't seem to have any idea or care.A complete waste of time.
Fantastic phone support from Foxtel. They listened to our problems about a dud iq4 which kept cutting out which had only been installed a week before by a very helpful technician.A technician came to replace box and found him, rude, disrespectful and wanting to leave asap.
I don't understand how this company could be allowed to continue with such poor business reviews . Foxtel is biggest rip off with worst service . Get rid of them , there's plenty of streaming services out there , don't even subscribe for their rubbish Binge streaming service , boycott them .
