Review Time
I recently ordered two hats from this company. My order was shipped to one of my old address which is located in another city. I had already updated my account with them with my current address several years ago when I moved. I sent several emails to their customer service email address but, never received a reply. I contacted their customer service department by telephone twice. The customer service persons I spoke with both times gives the old expression as dumb as a bag of rocks new meaning. A bag of rocks are Einstein compared to their customer service persons. I asked to speak with a supervisor only to be informed their supervisors do not take telephone calls. My order is now in route to an old address. Since the package was shipped thru Canadian Post there is not much I can do to have it rerouted since it is being shipped to the wrong zip code. Please never do business with this company they are the absolute worst company to work with. To label them a total scam is being kind.
Ordered a fur hat from FHW NOV22,2023,they charged my account $189.95,they sent me an email,stating they wanted a copy of my credit card statement,showing where my credit card paid for the hat,I refused to do that&told FHW to cancel my order,Nov 27,2023,the lady said 3 business days for refund,it is now Nov 5th,&still no refund,,my credit card told me to wait until Friday Nov 7th,&will conclude refund then,I have since tried to contact FHW three times,only to b put on hold,,,so if u want a fur hat don't deal with FHW,all they want is your money
I had an ushanka bought in Moscow in 1978 which now,after 45 years, needed to be replaced. The ushanka I bought from fur hat world weighs half as much as the original, but I guess that's due to more modern materials on the inside. On the outside, it looks and feels like the original. Shipped from Canada to Norway within 48 hours and without issues upon import. I don't expect the hat to live for 45 years, but I still can recommend this site wholeheartedly.
I have just ordered my third pair of men's sheepskin slippers in the past year. My husband wears them everyday and they are understandable looking like it. They are still holding up well and are still warm however, I just ordered another pair for Christmas. Shh don't tell him. I received the previous 2 orders very quickly and expect to do so this time. I trust this Canadian company and will continue to order from them.
The beaver trapper hat was 230$ and is warm, but the tassels are cheaply attached which means when they break you cannot wear the hat as designed. Nice fur but CHEAP quality construction!!! I cannot wear the hat until I have it fixed by someone who knows how to do it correctly.
They false advertise their fur. The fur hats on their websites are completely different from what they ship out. They made me pay a shipping fee to return the two items they false advertised. I have pictures to back up my statement.
