I typically avoid leaving negative feedback, but this situation is very frustrating and I'm concerned about my refund. I may have to dispute this with my bank.

The company refused, even though I clearly intended to spend the credit with them. I would expect a major retailer to be more flexible, especially around Christmas, but it seems they are not. My advice is to avoid purchasing directly from them.

I've sent further emails and social media messages requesting to escalate my complaint. On 22/12, customer service responded that they must wait for the carrier to update or declare the parcel lost before processing my refund. This company is failing to comply with consumer regulations and withholding my refund, despite my proof of purchase.
