Review Time
We ordered a taxi via a restaurant back to our hotel on a Wednesday evening at 10pm, which was exactly an 11 minute (5 mile) drive away. Upon arriving we were asked to pay £36!! I asked the driver (who was to his credit very pleasant) to check if that was correct and he suggested we call the dispatcher. I spoke to a very blunt and honestly rude lady who pretty much told me it is what it is but ‘kindly’?! Reduced the price by £4. Left a really sour taste in the mouth after what was previously a lovely evening out for our anniversary. We used Say Taxi on the way there and it was just over £10. Please an avoid this company.
I requested (in writing) a quote for a round trip from Oxford to Gloucestershire and was told nearly £130. When I arrived at my destination in Gloucestershire, the driver asked for the money and was going to leave me there! I ended up paying another £128 PLUS waiting time at 60p per minute. Given I'd gone to say a last goodbye to my dying mother this was extremely stressful and added to my distress at the occasion.
Call centre staff were very helpful when I booked two cars to take me and 5 friends from Abingdon to Heathrow, they explained how the fare works. The drivers were very smart and courteous and helped with our luggage. We all felt we were in good hands all the way.
The job is driving therefore they should know how to get to places on time. Just had Go green for the first time this week. Every pick up late and one time forgot altogether. I can understand just once there maybe traffic or breakdowns but late everytime means they just don't care enough.
I was extremely disappointed by Go greens service. I booked a taxi this morning but it arrived 15 minutes late and I was overpriced . My journey was 10 minutes but I was charged £23.10 ! Lastly , the driver would not accept less payment even though he was late. Do not book taxis with these guys !
I use go green taxis in Didcot not because it is the best but because it is what we have in town as offer.During week 49 last year, I took taxis everyday almost, in one of the trios I left my reading glasses on the seat. As sooner the driver left me, I saw I did not have the glasses, so I called GoGreen, spoke with a Lady, she told me she would call the driver to check. After few minutes she called me back telling the driver had the glasses, he would leave at the office and that I would need to collect the glasses from their offices. Since then, I have been trying to collect my glasses with no success. Always informed different reasons.Today again when calling, i spoke with 2 ladies who showed no respect. Saying they are not responsible for my glasses!!! The one who told me she is the call center manager today, was really rude! Unbelievable. I felt really disrespected and that there is no human values in this company. Another incident an year ago, i was left with no driver 5 am, i had to jump on my bike, leave a luggage at home to not lose my flight. I wrote an ema to the company, attaching my cctv video of the day. Have I got an answer to it? Still have not. Where is the owner of this company who does to follow up the services offered?
