Awful service. Pre-booked a week before travel for a pick up from the airport. 20 minutes after pickup time, I receive a text saying 'due to high demand your booking is running late'. Called the help line - 13 mins on hold and no info. Waited over half an hour with no information - ended using a black cab. Avoid.
The worst experience that I have ever encountered. Please do not use this company. All other negative reviews are similar to mine and if I could give a zero star rating then I would as they do not deserve one star. Nina (the manager) was extremely rude and refused to rectify the issues that we encountered. On 14 September our driver was due at 2am to take us to LGW but by 2:15am we were still waiting so we called the office to explain that our taxi had not arrived! A replacement taxi was sent and 30 minutes later we were on our way to Gatwick. All drivers are self employed and our chauffeur was lovely but we received no apologies from the Go Green office. We returned home in the UK on 25 September and again we were collected by a self employed member of staff (Mico) who was absolutely lovely but we had to contact Go Green as they sent the wrong size car to collect myself, my husband and my three year old little boy. Our journey home was uncomfortable as the driver struggled to fit our luggage in the vehicle. Mico could not see out of her rear view mirror and myself and my 3 year old had to have the parcel shelf with us in the back of the car. Both my husband and I called Go Green to explain the situation but Nina (the manager) was rude, unhelpful and unprofessional to say the least. I got cut off on two occasions and two members of staff refused to put me through to Mark and Mike (the directors) both of whom we know and even had the audacity to pretend to be foreign when I persisted on speaking to someone. I am fond of Mark (the director) but I am so disappointed that we have not been contacted as requested and we have decided to take the matter further and seek legal advice. Once again, I urge you not to use this company!
Obtained a quote for a 2.6 mile (each way) round trip from our hotel, admittedly coming back after midnight, but the fare was £50.15. I though the operator had said £15 which would in itself have been expensive. The operator apologised, but said this was the price laid down on his list. It’s essential that you nail these guys down to a price before using them.
Taxi turned up half an hour late despite us calling the office and the driver, and then wandering around the village trying to find him. Totally missed the surprise event we were attending. Called the office over next 4 days and told each time no managers available. E mailed - no response. On last occasion they said they were too busy to deal with my complaint and put the phone down.
I booked a taxi 3 weeks in advance for 8pm and then to be collected at 12 Midnight. A taxi arrived at 8am and then when I rang they said that I had filled the times in incorrectly! They were incredibly unhelpful I was then told that they were not able to help me at all. Don’t book online always phone and check that the times are correct as there isn’t a am or pm option.
Booked taxi under my name to go from hotel to wedding reception. Was told it would be 30 mins. After around 20 mins a go green taxi arrives at front of hotel, I didn't get a confirmation message or phone call, was just about to go and see if it was for me but then someone else got in it and they drove off. I assumed that one had been booked by someone else, however when there was no sign of another go green taxi for another 25 mins I called to ask what was going on. They sounded confused and then said that they hadn't sent one because they weren't sure if I definitely still wanted a taxi (?? - pretty sure the original one was for me and the driver just didn't bother to check who had booked it and just took a random instead). I asked for another taxi ASAP; one eventually arrived but driver didn't know the location of the (well known) wedding reception venue and started driving to the wrong place before I corrected him. When we eventually arrived the fare was way more expensive than quoted. I don't normally write bad reviews but thought this was needed! Shame most people won't get the opportunity to read the reviews before they book their taxi.
Had booked a taxi to go from hotel on edge of Oxford to go to a city centre venue. 10 minutes before pick up I received a missed call from them. I hadn’t heard them ring as I was in the shower. At the time of pick up I noticed the missed call and rang the number, it was Go Green cars, who then told me that they couldn’t pick up for another 2 hours as there was a lot of roadworks in the city.2 things:1) They didn’t leave a message I just happened to noticed a missed call2) The roadworks in Oxford has been going on for several weeks, when they took the booking they must’ve known about the delays. I suspect that you just over a book to cram in as many customers as possible and accept the fact that they will disappoint many customers. In which case it was too late to get another taxi I had to drive into the city. You didn’t care in the slightest. I would read the reviews here and you will see that they are not worth dealing with it is too risky!
