Booked a taxi from Oxford Parkway to Oxford Crematorium, and it never showed up. Waited five minutes then took one from another firm waiting in the rank.I mean, really? I could have missed a funeral had there not been another taxi waiting. If it wasn't possible, why not just tell me rather than take the booking?
If I could give them 0 stars I would. Shocking business. Booked them for this weekend to take my family and some friends to our engagement meal so my fiancé and I could have a well deserved drink together while we celebrated, had specifically told them there were 6 of us and had been advised to order one back too because we needed an 8 seater and only 1 taxi turned up to take us to our meal. When questioned they said they had nothing I. The area and their quickest solution would be to send the driver back for the remaining people. Absolutely gutted and heart broken as we had to drive in the end, meaning my fiancé and I couldn't then raise a glass to celebrate our own engagement at our own engagement party. Will NEVER use them again and will NEVER recommend them EVER!!
Best company around, The drivers are always amazing and the call center staff are lovely too!! Their customer service is on point and they have immediate availability excluding obvious rush hours. would not use any one else as everything is amazing and the charity work that the eco friendly company do alongside normal day business is amazing too... Yea some times they run 5-10 minutes late but its a taxi company there is always traffic or previous passenger problems but they are always apologetic for this so all can be forgiven !!! and on the plus side unlike other taxi providers in the oxford shire area their drivers know what a smile is!!
I have now had two occasions where Go Green have made fraudulent charges through the Go Green app onto my card. The first time was where the app charged me through card as it is setup but the driver said I needed to pay cash as it was not showing as a card paid for journey when it was - he even called 'base' to check. After multiple calls the following week I got the money refunded. The most recent event was this Sunday morning 18th June where I booked a taxi via the app. I then get a phone call a while later saying there are no taxis available for over an hour. After 10 mins of receiving the call the app suddenly says there is a taxi on its way and then I get messages saying the taxi is outside when it isn't. I call Go Green back and they say there is no taxi but they will send one.... After making this call the app then updates saying thank you for completing the journey and indicates that my card will be charged! I call back Go Green and the dispatcher says 'yes the app is rubbish and will cancel the charge' and then reitterates that there is still no taxis and the other handler who said there was one on its way was wrong it is an hours wait and my original booking because its showing as completed is gone so I am at the back of the queue again. The dispatcher didn't offer any apology or resolution to what had happened. As a result I miss what I was trying to get a taxi for but more criminally I now find that my card has indeed been charged for a non-existant journey and I face the prospect of now trying to get my money back from this amateur operation. I would absolutely 100% not recommend Go Green Taxis and certainly would not use the app or set your card up against it as it is a ticket for them to charge your card at their own will.
Used Go Green yesterday to go to Highclere Castle from Newbury Station. I booked a week ahead of time from the States, and found them to be prompt and courteous to my emails. The quoted fare was in keeping with others. They showed up a bit tardy (10 mins--weather was quite bad) but I had allotted time for that so no problem (AND I did not succumb to competing taxis at the station trying to tell me GoGreen might not show at all!). Cars were excellent, clean and drivers friendly and informative (especially the gentleman on the return--wish the ride was longer). Felt more like limo service versus taxi. Best bit of all: needed to be picked up sooner (17:00 v 17:25) and they promptly responded to my email and were there promptly, even earlier. Will use this service again next visit!
Excellent service! Booked a taxi for my mum to go into town.The driver was on time, helped her into the car, helped her with her shopping and was very friendly.Having booked through the app we would even track the car on its way to us!Fixed pricing (which was cheaper than others) meant no surprising costs and paying by card in the car was really easy and quick.Wouldn't use any other taxi service now!!
