Review Time
This has to be the worst service centre I’ve ever had the misfortune of using for my life, the woman who answers the phone in service is incredibly rude, condescending and obstructive.Getting appointments is almost impossible, no communication when you do get an appointment. Had to get a lift to the garage to find out what was going on with my car as couldn’t find out over the phone days after I dropped my car off. Then found they hadn’t even sorted out the issues. Absolutely useless, how they stay in business is beyond me.
I requested a video that was promptly sent, followed by a phone call. I received 2 more phone calls over the weekend before biting the bullet and paying the £99 deposit Sunday afternoon through Heycar. Received a form and filled and sent back. The following afternoon received call from Heycar saying the car was no longer available. It had been sold even though I had paid a deposit.
We bought a Dacia Duster from Griffin Mill in December 2022. We were delighted with the vehicle buying it unseen as we live about 80 miles from Pontypridd. It was exactly as described. On collecting the vehicle we were informed that small dents on the bodywork of the boot had not been removed but we could take the vehicle and the work would be completed in January 2023. The Duster was collected this week and a courtesy car delivered. The Duster was returned to us today with the work completed. Thank you Richard (Birkinshaw) for a first class service. Back in March of 2022, I left a review about the ease of purchasing our new Qashqai from Griffin Mill and how well we were treated and looked after by Andrew and Rhys. Although we loved the car, we decided to test drive the new E-power version,which we found to be a far superior drive to the conventional one. We decided to place an order for one in October 2022 and again my partner and myself were very well looked after by Andrew Stentiford, and also this time, the sales manager Matthew was very much involved with the deal and went to great lengths to offer us a deal that we were happy with. Exactly 10 months later from purchasing our first Qashqai, i am now the proud owner of the E-power version . I strongly emphasise what a huge pleasure it is to deal with Griffin Mill as there are no pushy sales people and they make your purchase as smooth and easy as possible. All the staff at Griffin Mill (Nissan) are very polite and friendly and are to be congratulated for the way they treat their customers and i regard them as being a huge asset to the motor industry. If you are thinking of changing your vehicle, i strongly recommend you pay Griffin Mill a visit first. I wish all staff at Griffin Mill all the very best for the future. Very best regards. I dropped off my car for a service and was direct to the office on the right. The lady at the desk directed me to the office to the left where I booked in and dropped off my keys. It took quite some time to find the keys to the courtesy car; this was no problem however after a while my four year old who was with me asked if he could use the bathroom. I asked the lady in the office (middle aged, blondish) if there was a bathroom he could use; she said ‘No’ and turned to continue working. I stood for a moment in some shock. I must have counted at least a couple of dozen people working there, I can’t imagine they’re required to wander over to Tesco when they need to use a bathroom. Having no other option I could think of, I took my boy outside where he had to urinate on the floor next to my car. The second option would have been to let him wet himself on the chair he was sitting on. The service itself was completed fine as far as I could tell, however when I was called to be told the car was ready I was asked to wait about an hour before picking it up as the car was being washed? This sounded odd but I complied. When I arrived the chap handed me my keys. I asked if there were any issues found with the service but he didn’t know and to go check (not sure if it’s related but it seems they were having internet that day) and when I got to my car it hadn’t been washed… none of this is really a problem. The only issue I had is the lady’s refusal to allow my boy to use their bathroom; it’s not as if there are any other options in the immediate vicinity. It’s lucky he just needed a pee…
went down griffin mill last thursday to book car in for a vehicle health check book us in for 15/12/2022 at 13.30 pm got down there 13.05 pm spoke to a lady on front desk said to us garage on there break so we went down a cafe on the site got back to griffin mill about 14.50 car would be ready to go home we are both disabled the car is mobility anyway we asked how much longer the car going to be not long we was told 16.00 the car was ready to go home we was both in pain got home about 17.00 and then my miss look at the vehicle health check paperwork what we had of griffin mill they give miss the wrong paper work on our car there is a different name on vehicle health check paper so they must have give how to someone else very disappointing we want be going back there tell the car go back in july 2023
Brian was an excellent guy to have help me find my new car, he was very thoughtful and knowledgeable. I would recommend his service and definitely go to him again in the foreseeable future. He made my experience of getting a new car exciting and i will certainly be referring him to my friends and family.
I booked my first service on my Dacia and agreed to wait as it should only take about 1.5 hours. After in excess of 2.5 hours with no reason given for the delay I was then informed that there was two recalls by Dacia that they were putting right and it would be ready very shortly.After 3.75 hours, my car was finally ready.If I had been informed earlier of the extra work on the recalls I would have left the car and picked it up later.Obviously there was a lack of communication about the extra recall work. How long had the garage known about it? Early notification of this work would have been very much appreciated !!!Ken Buttle
