Review Time
I recently had a series of disappointing encounters with the service center of Griffin Mill, and I feel compelled to share my frustrating experience. As a loyal customer, I had always believed in the reputation of Griffin Mill's vehicles, but the service I received has left me questioning the integrity of the brand.Over the past few months, I brought my vehicle into the service center on five separate occasions to address a persistent issue which was finally resolved after a further effort being made by myself to drive the vehicle to recreate the issue for them. Unfortunately, each time, the repair was not completed to my satisfaction. The lack of attention to detail and apparent disregard for resolving the problem has left me deeply dissatisfied. What is perhaps more disheartening than the repeated mechanical issues is the complete absence of any meaningful gesture of goodwill from the parts and service manager. Despite the inconvenience and the evident lapses in their service, I did not receive any compensation, discount, or even a simple apology for the recurring issues from the manager.Communication was also a significant problem throughout this ordeal. Despite being assured of timely updates on the status of my vehicle, I was left in the dark for extended periods, with no information on the progress of the repairs. This lack of transparency only added to the frustration and sense of abandonment as a customer. Even escalating to Nissan themselves proved pretty redundant.I attempted to address my concerns with the parts and service manager, but unfortunately, their response was indifferent at best. It seemed as though my repeated issues were brushed aside, and there was a lack of genuine concern for my satisfaction as a customer.I had always held Griffin Mill in high regard, but this experience has shaken my confidence in the brand's commitment to customer service. A motor company is not just about selling vehicles; it's about creating a lasting relationship with customers who trust in the brand's reliability and support. Unfortunately, my recent encounters with Griffin Mill's service center have eroded that trust. In conclusion, I have a vehicle that is believed to be fixed but due to the complete failure during the four previous encounters of taking the garage I am left with a sense of doubt, a sense of frustration, and a strong inclination to reconsider my association with Griffin Mill. I hope this review serves as a constructive critique, urging the company to reevaluate its approach to customer satisfaction and take the necessary steps to rectify these issues promptly.
Martin Baker was extremely helpful. Brought the car from Weston super mare all the way to Cardiff for us to see and purchase. Really helpful on the paperwork side for us. Very polite. Very informative and kept us up to date on the purchase progress. Not the usual salesmen type, much better down to earth and someone you can talk to.
Took my car for new parking sensor some months ago paid over £700 brought car back and sensors still not working paid a further £400. Still not fixed. When was contacted by Griffin Mill about a Service I told the I'd had enough and wouldn't waste any more money. Andy Roberts from sales contacted me and was very apologetic saying he didn't want to have a bad reputation. So he offered me a courtesy car and to look into why the sensors were not fixed. I did say I wouldn't pay anymore but he assured me to wait and see. Courtesy car was delivered on Monday 1st July after trying to get an update was eventually told there were many things wrong and would cost a further £1460 but he would charge me £560 as a goodwill gesture. I was reluctant but my husband wanted to go ahead. We have paid through the bumper system. We were told the car would be ready by Friday 5July. Since then I have emailed and phoned over 10 times with the promise someone will get back. This has happened on many many occasions. It is now Tuesday 9th July. Still no update or contact from Griffin Mill I am so frustrated with their customer Service. I will never ever use them again. Just be cautious as their Customer Service is appalling. I'm sitting here wondering if my car will ever be repaired.
One star because I can’t give zero. Took my car in for warranty work and they had no courtesy cars. Said they had asked Kia for a courtesy car for me but this was not true. After 3 weeks I contacted Kia who supplied me with a car through another Kia dealer. After 6 weeks I was informed that they were unable to repair my vehicle and it would go to another dealership in Bridgend. Shocking customer service and quite rude. Never going back! Car was off the road for just under two months
Appalling customer service. Took vehicle in at 8am for service and MOT wasn't done until 5.30pm. Took me 4 attempts to get it booked in. Failure to answer phones on 4 consecutive days even though used their message service. Had to go out of my way to eventually get it booked in. Will never use them again
I bought my car 12 months ago and had a great experience with the sales team. However the service department communication has been appalling and extremely poor. I can safely say that I, along with my family and friends, will not be returning.
My 5-month-old car, with just over 3000 miles, a Nissan X-Trail, E-Power, broke down on the A470 heading into Cardiff just before the M4 junction. I tried to make it to the central reservation however no luck. My Car was stuck between two lanes of speeding traffic on each side of me. There was a severe risk to life for myself, my two little Yorkshire terries in the back seat, the RAC engineer, and to the Police. It took 4 hours before the car could be dragged onto a low loader. GRIFFIN MILL NISSAN, where I purchased the car were impossible to get hold of, when I did speak to them, they did not give a dam! and said there was nothing that they could do and that I should ring Motability. No phone call from the dealership today, not even to see if I am still alive!!! The dealership principal apparently is on leave for a few weeks, and there was no other manager who would take my call. Complete power failure to the car, putting lives at risk.
