told my phone was under warranty and to send out for repair. then once its in romania they tell me its not and will cosy 352 euro to fix. (the phone costs 130euro new) so they want me to pay double that to fix a a cheap phone, LOL. SCAM vibes for sure
HMD tells you your phone is under warranty. "Send it to our repairservice, we will fix it"So you send your phone to Romania at own costs (about €50!). Once your phone is at the other side of Europe, it takes WEEKS before you hear another word. Than a short mail "Your phone is not under warranty. Please pay €154 for repair). Than the Holidays are there and they close. After my phone was gone 6 weeks, the same email again.Meanwhile we send numerous emails to HMD and CTDI who "repair" phones. Every email we send - replies to former emails- get a new support ticket. Which means a new person looks at your case. Which also means you get a different answer each time.NEVER seen a supportservice as chaotic and as inconsistent is this one. And this for a phonemanifacturer that say they give a extra year of warranty. No wonder Nokia is far from the world leader in mobile phones they used to be. And with reason.I liked their phones. Untill this day I have been very happy with them, but this support experience has put me off them for good. I have a family member who works in support themselves. They would never get away with this. I am a very patient person. I understand things can go wrong, but this....And no, They never repaired itEDITFair is fair. I have to edit the fact that they never repaired it.After 42 emails. One morning I get a very short mail with the message that they switched my phone with another one.I was right. My phone was repaired as it should have been. 5 weeks wasted. I knew something went wrong over there. It should be a lesson for them : Listen to the people. Check what they say and send you. If they would have done that, this would never have happened.
My Nokia HMD phone is a year old and has already been back for repair twice. It doesn't always charge unless I have just restarted it, and the GPS doesn't work. It's been back for repair twice, and I've been trying to send it back for the third time, but their customer service website is down. Nokia has become a joke. No, no Nokia, never again.
This company has bought the Nokia Mobile phone brand. Nokia Corporation no longer makes or sells the Nokia mobile. NMD Global has no idea about UK consumer law when its phones break. I am having to take them to the small claims court for not respecting the law and my right to a replacement when the repair did not work. Terrible customer 'service'.
