TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
I have just ordered my first HC purchase online. I am in no doubt that my purchase will be of beautiful quality. HOWEVER when i placed the order the site promised free delivery for orders over £99, I speng £138 but was charged £4.95 delivery.
I emailed customer service to ask for this to be refunded. I provided all details also my email address, delivery address and phone number. I received a response quickly, asking for details, email address, delivery address. I was cross. I explained that all details were in previous email. I havent heard anything since.

The jumper I bought was absolutely stunning! Very very good quality. It was delivered so quickly and came packaged beautifully. I will be buying from HC again as the clothing is such good quality and the items are so stylish.
Should have been fast delivery but Royal mail delivered to wrong address ....throughout the time Royal Mail took to locate parcel Holland Cooper were in constant touch & prior to actual delivery I was offered refund or replacement...Garment is so warm & cosy Just what granddaughter needs in this cold weather
Wonderful quality and design. I am a regular customer and have purchased many items from HC over the years. Most recently their Milton longline padded coat in chocolate. I am only 5’2 so was expecting it to be too long however it is the perfect length for me at my ankle and looks fab with chunky sole boots. The hardware is (as always with HC) lovely and high quality and the colour gorgeous! Can’t wait to wear out and about! Super fast delivery too!
I purchased a coat from a store and upon getting home, I discovered that one of the cuffs was significantly larger than the other. It took a 2-hour round trip to return it. They replaced it, but two weeks later, the cuffs have started to bobble due to catching on the zips and rubber of the pockets, and the main zip is consistently stiff, making it difficult to zip up at times. For a £250 coat, I expected much better quality. I have emailed customer service three times and received no response. Although they claim to provide a free postage label for faulty returns, based on these reviews, it appears that returns often go missing and refunds take an eternity. I am very disappointed to have been completely ignored and left with one of the worst coats I have ever owned.
I am incredibly disappointed with the quality of my coat. I purchased this coat in 2024 from a retail location and spent over £300-400, considering it a significant investment. It’s a long hooded coat that has been worn very little and was mostly stored in my wardrobe. Upon taking it out again, I found that the stitching is unraveling in several areas: around the pockets, the belt, and the hood. This is not typical wear and tear. A coat at this price point and claimed quality should not be falling apart after such limited use. For a brand that presents itself as premium, this level of craftsmanship is unacceptable. The items are certainly expensive, but the quality feels cheap. You are paying for the label, not the construction. Honestly, I would advise against spending your money here. Customers expect durability and quality for hundreds of pounds, but what you receive is subpar stitching and disappointing workmanship. I anticipated much better, and this experience has completely deterred me from future purchases.
It's important to read the feedback before responding. I was charged for my order, yet I haven't received anything. There's no product to be upset about, just money taken without delivery. It's obvious why there are so many complaints.
The pieces are truly lovely, but if you're in the United States, you better hope you know your exact size and that you receive the correct items. I placed an order worth USD $1400 in November 2025, including a business suit and a coat. Unfortunately, both the coat and skirt were too large, so I requested an exchange. While waiting for a response from Customer Service, I noticed there was only one of my size left for the skirt, so I informed them via email to secure it. I returned the incorrect items in one package. Two months later, I found myself charged for multiple items and shipping fees four times: for the original order, an exchange, and returns of incorrect sizes. The total shipping cost reached USD $100, contradicting their stated policy that generally waives shipping fees for exchanges. Despite the clarity of their own policy, they charged me repeatedly for shipping for every exchange. I've been following up with Customer Service for weeks without any replies. I've spent $62 on international calls, leaving voicemails that went unanswered. Their digital assistant struggles to find order numbers, and the human agents seem unaware of basic details in the same email thread. I've repeatedly requested to speak with a supervisor but received no assistance. After confirming not to ship another coat, they attempted to send one to the wrong state entirely. Now, I'm receiving messages from the delivery service about a package I didn't order. In summary, many luxury retailers offer stunning clothing. It's better to shop elsewhere than with a company that can't manage basic tasks like responding to inquiries or adhering to its own policies.
I placed an order for four items last year. While two were delivered on time, the other two are missing, despite showing as dispatched on the courier app but not actually delivered. I reached out to customer service and received a response from a chatbot stating that they had fulfilled their legal duty by dispatching the items. I sent a screenshot proving that the courier hadn't received them. The chatbot mentioned my issue would be escalated, but a week has gone by without any updates. I've followed up with numerous emails and phone calls, wasting a lot of time. It's nearly impossible to reach anyone by phone (I spent hours trying) and my voicemail was ignored. Meanwhile, I can't use the two items I received because they were meant to be paired with the missing ones. I'm starting to wonder if this is a case of poor customer service or if the company is struggling to meet its commitments. I deeply regret my purchases.
