Hopper is the actual worst company. They charged me TWICE for a flight from Bali- Manila on the exact same day and won’t issue a refund! I’ve spoken to 3 customer service agents and all won’t issue a refund. I will NEVER Use Hopper again in my life! Absolutely crap
Beware of price freeze! They send you notifications as tho your freeze is active, and yet when I went to book my flight was “sold out”?! Even tho it most definitely was not. I called support who basically told me the freeze is actually on a ticket provided by a 3rd party. Those tickets run out. However hopper does not notify you that this is the case or that the tickets are running low. I’m lucky I even checked. Support essentially told me to go fms To be crystal clear- my freeze was not expired. Hopper allows your frozen ticket options to sell out without notifying you whatsoever that this is the case and your freeze is essentially useless.
Hopper misrepresents its services and despite no indication of currency (booking a Canadian hotel from Canada from agency headquartered in Montreal would normally be billed in Canadian dollars) THEY BILL IN US CURRENCY.Having a cancellation fee payable in USD is no indication of anything other than a cancellation fee, essentially indicating that within a few days of the reservation there is no refund.Contacting their poorly named "customer service" department is a major challenge and there is little or no replies to calls, emails or letters. Finally, if thinking of booking through this group, contact the end destination directly instead and you will save a lot of money and avoid hassles
Booked transfers from Airport to Hotel, our flight was delayed so we called immediately to inform them of this. They said as we were within 5 hours of the pick up the booking could not be amended and we would not get a refund.Incredibly unhelpful customer service and such poor policy that means we are out of pocket £100 and now have no transportEDIT: I am unable to contact you on these numbers. Is there an email address I can use.
0 stars if I could. Booked a reservation 6 months in advance and when I got to the hotel they told me hopper cancelled the reservation 3 separate times. I was never notified of this nor did I get a refund. Talked to customer service rep and they said they’d reinstate the reservation with the hotel. Received new confirmation number saying it was done and still no reservation. Had to contact hopper CS AGAIN which was also a pain just to get someone on the phone. DO NOT BOOK THROUGH HERE IF YOU CAN HELP IT. So not worth it. We’ve been waiting an hour just to get this sorted out and it still isn’t. This is the last thing you want to have to deal with on vacation.
I wish I could give this app 0 stars and prevent anyone else from using it. They will scam you and act like they’re trying to help you. Made a reservation the day of, as they were advertising a,”total cost, no hidden fees,” deal, only to find out there were hidden fees that were almost double what I already paid. The supervisor Edgar is completely useless and provided no help except, “sending emails.” Please save your money and don’t let hopper scam you like they scammed me.
No where to contact them I am from UK they are in canada the phone number never work They have told me to keep an eye on hopper app and my email how ever no one’s ever contacted me about the serious complaint
I cant rate it any lower. They took my money. Never gave me a confirmation or anything. I called hotel they had no reservations. I had to fight for an hour to get my money back. And then afterwards. They cant even get me the hotel for anywhere near the right price. And say it's my fault for not booking in time. When they took my money and never sent confirmation to the hotel.
Extremely poor service and customer support. Highly disappointed.They have some intermediate third party which even mess up with your name and contact details on the airline website. Also, they won’t support the cancellation even within less than 24 hours. I almost lost the price for 2 flights for 2 persons.Fortunately, I reached out to Airlines directly and was able to get it cancelled. However, even after airline process the refund, it may took hours of calls and multiple follow ups with Hopper support to get this issued from their end.This portal is BIG RED flag, will strongly discourage using their platform.
