Really this is a scam.

I cancelled the order one hour after making it, no response, emailed again. This was ignored for several days until they shipped it, at which point they said I could return it. I asked to return it and am now eight emails in to an argument about why it is "troublesome" to return it and expensive to return it to China. Just don't buy it, get a refurbed or second hand decent brand watch. Don't get scammed.

The worst company in the world to deal…

The worst company in the world to deal with,I bought a watch as advertised, with a swimming mode, when it failed after a few months, they told me it was not waterproof and cannot be used for swimming. Even though it has a swim mode which is clearly shown on their website.First they offered me 5%, then q0%, but would not move above 15%.Do not buy a product from this company.I wish Trustpilot allowed us to rate at zero stars!

If there is a possibility that you may need to return your purchase - do not use this company. Do not believe what it says on their website - they are based in China - have no idea about customer service, and no returns policy or guidance ..they couldn’t even supply a return label- never mind a prepaid one.

Avoid this company unless you have money to waste

HONESTLY - STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! I ordered my watch from them but it was very inaccurate and definitely doesn't count steps adequately. I understand it will never be 100% accurate but the discrepancy between the steps captured by the watch and my phone were up to 8,000 steps. Make it make sense? I gave it the benefit of the doubt though but, eventually decided to return it because I (and many others) deemed it was not worth the price I paid. BTW I WAS WITHIN THE DATES & GUIDELINES OF THEIR RETURN POLICY but they put up barriers sending me multiple emails stating "there is nothing wrong with our products". After multiple emails they offered a 10% refund, I declined, they offered a 15% refund, I declined again as I was not going to use the product. Eventually, after weeks of back and forth they gave me the return address. I returned the product FINALLY, but was that the end? NOOOOO. They confirmed they received the returned product but gave me no information on my refund. When I asked MULTIPLE TIMES they said 'We are urging the manager to arrange a refund for you as soon as possible. Please wait.' Now, bear in mind this had been going on for about 2 months so, after not getting any solid answers about my refund, I initiated a chargeback through my bank and let me tell you they acted SWIFTLY. This company (IONOS) is now sending me emails urging me to cancel my chargeback and send them proof of cancellation so they can refund me but, unfortunately for them, that is something I won't be doing. Also, the last email they sent to me genuinely sounds like an email you'd get from a scammer so, no thank you. Deal with my bank. Toodles.

UPDATE ON IONOS WATCH REVIEW

Ok, I gave this watch an horrendous negative review and I need to update my experience in the interest of honesty. Firstly, the customer service is absolutely the worse on the planet.But, the watch is not so bad if you take some steps, which I have now done and this does correct the bad readings.1. Do a factory reset when you get the watch. I think my watch had been returned and had someone else's data in it.2. Make sure you do the latest software update.Before these changes the time was constantly slipping. The steps were wrong. The battery only lasted two days and my heart reading was 120 when it should be 75 ISH.After, all the readings were fairly correct. I've checked the steps on a count five times, they exactly. Heart rate correct. And the battery life is up to ten days.So, for now I'm using the watch and all is ok. They offered me 10% discount to keep it and I took the offer.I don't know if these measures will work for every watch, but they have worked for mine. I still think the calorie counter is under reading, but I live with that. 👍🏻

Impossible to return items

Contacted company when I discovered they were based in China to cancel. Not accepted and said that I had to pay postage to China and any customs tax due although they said they were a UK based company. Lost over £100 even though I raised a dispute with Mark's Credit Card. Avoid at all costs!!

Watch not connecting to my phone

Hi I have been away and Iv been really looking forward too setting my watch up. However I have charged the watch and downloaded the Runmefit app successfully. How ever when trying to add device it says that my phone blue tooth is off. ??? It isn’t as I have refreshed it multiple times and it’s linked to other devices but nothing comes up for the watch which also the isn’t listed on the Runmefit app options for devices being used ?? Which is strange as the on the box it suggests to use this app ? All I can find on line and on the box of the watch is Ionis health and fitness ( not on the list ) I am hoping this is just a misunderstanding and can easily be rectified. Thanks Sasha I
