Review Time
Having previously dealt with a competitor of Laybrook who sell a similar product, and having found that both their product and customer service left a lot to be desired, I decided to have a look at Laybrook’s version of a turning bed. It turned out to be a great decision.! Although both Laybrook and their competitor provided similar solutions for those of us who suffer health issues that make getting in and out of bed extremely difficult, that is where the similarity ended. Firstly was the quality and functionality of the product, a turning bed, Laybrook’s version is substantially better in both its construction and modus operandi, and as an added bonus it’s manufactured here in the U.K.! The next most important issue is that of customer service, in this respect Laybrook’s was outstanding. Their good communication was coupled with the fact that whoever we spoke to had excellent product knowledge. The service team and engineers dealt with the myriad of questions I had, answering them all to my complete satisfaction. Many thanks Louise, Priscilla, Marie, and Michael. Delivery was very prompt and the engineers had it installed and up and running without any problems in no time. I have now been using my new bed for a few months and to say it has changed my life is an understatement. I would just like to thank Laybrook and all their staff for all the help and advice they provided and I would have no reservation in recommending their services and products.
I recently had this bed made to my requirements after my previous adjustible bed broke. It's very comfortable and the motors are very quiet. The quality is excellent, very solid, and I decided to have an eco leather surround so it is easy to keep clean and dust free.The delivery was about 3 weeks from date of order and included removal of my old bed and it took about 45 minutes in total from start to finish, including instructions on how it works (different handset to my previous one) as it needs to be put together in place.The price was also excellent and I definitely recommend this supplier if you are in need of an adjustible bed.All in all a good experience.
I recently had a bed made to my requirements by Laybrook and I am a completely satisfied customer. At every stage my questions and needs [I am disabled] were met with a cheerful and professional response. My bed is very comfortable indeed, the electrical raising and lowering is quiet and gentle, the bed is solidly made and has a reliable 'feel' about it.Really good value for money incidently. The delivery was perfectly executed with great care taken with my property by an excellent team who worked to create a perfectly assembled product. Everyone with whom I interacted with at Laybrook was an excellent ambassador for the company. I could not be happier and my nights are as comfortable as I could possibly wish.
So far so good. The bed is good quality and also looks better in reality than it does in the pictures. I ordered a firm mattress and find it really comfortable and the in built massager is a bonus. The guys who delivered and installed the bed were courteous and professional demonstrating to me how the bed etc worked and they cleared all the packaging away. Delivery was a week or so later than expected, but was worth the wait. Due to disability I find it hard to stand when getting out of bed. However, I can raise the bed really high so it helps me to a standing position which is exactly what I wanted the bed for. So that's working out great. Very pleased with my purchase so far.
Sandringham Double + 2 Drawers + Headboard + Superior Sprung MattressI recently took delivery of a bed made to my requirements by Laybrook and I am a completely satisfied customer. I was prepared to order online but had some questions about selecting a mattress. My call to Laybrook was dealt with excellently and also referencing why I wanted an adjustable bed led to my conditions allowing for VAT exemption.I ordered before I was due to go on holiday and my holiday dates were noted with my expectation that it would be available when I returned. I received email updates regarding the manufacturing status. I then received a phone call to say the bed was ready and could be delivered before my holiday if it was convenient, which it was. My mattress trial start period would be delayed until my return from holiday as well.Delivery was well managed with good communication and to time, with the bed being assembled and demonstrated to me without a hitch.I returned from holiday and found the mattress to be very comfortable for me and have made use of the adjustable functions which are very smooth and quiet. I was somewhat ‘future proofing’ with this purchase but I am delighted with it and know it was a great decision and very good value for money.
3' Dorchester Bed; Memory Foam Mattress; 3' Headboard. Consideration given to delivery and installation due to my situation and did so in good time. I thought I had ordered a 'looking from foot end to headboard drawer' at £0.00 but misread it. Headboard was left with a dozen staples poking out from the packaging material removal. Difficult to remove which is probably why they were left there. Top of left hand headboard fixing has a split in the wood where the screw was done up tightly.Having said this, all other interaction and the quality of the bed is very good thus far after 3 nights use.
