I have Luxaflex awnings and shutters in my house and I find them both to be absolutely superb products. The awnings are as pristine as the day they were installed five years ago by the retailer Inkwood Interiors, this despite us living in a heavily wooded area that turns our decking and house render green every winter!The shutters are also still in use everyday and still in as new condition. Both products are sturdy AND beautiful and I will be buying more of both as I finish my house renovation.
Good old fashion customer service does live on in this changing world, which has been refreshing to see. Our first new home after 25 years and we were out of touch as to how overwhelming, buying something as simple as a blind can be. After some failed attempts on the internet we went in search of a local blind shop and discovered Littlehampton blinds. Their showroom is like walking into a car dealership, with everything you can imagine and as we discovered allot that we do not. Until we went there we did not know of Luxaflex blinds, but the showroom and the young chaps knowledge of all the different blinds really impressed us. We left there a little overwhelmed with choice, but armed with some brochures and a fancy little book that has a small television in it which shows you a video about the powered blinds. A week later we visited them again with a list of questions and we finalised our order, the process from the office was run very efficiently from paying the deposit all the way through to booking in the fitting of the blinds. The gentleman who fitted our blinds was lovely, a bit of cheeky chap. I do not think he realised we could hear him singing while he was working but he seems to really enjoy his job. When he finished he showed us what had be done and how everything worked, it has been nearly a month now and we are delighted with the blinds and the experience we received from Littlehampton blinds.
We had Luxaflex Duette top down bottom up blinds fitted to our bedroom window several years ago supplied by our local agent and we have been so pleased with them that we have just had the same fitted in our sun room and we have now decided to order Trufit blinds for our french doors to complete the look. Would highly recommend.

We required the supply and installation of made to measure, motorised Luxaflex blinds for our new home. Gemma from Inkwood Interiors (Kendal, Cumbria) visited our property to take detailed measurements and advise on the options available. We had a follow up meeting at the Inkwood showroom to view examples of blind types and fabric options. Excellent product knowledge and advice helped us to make informed choices. The blinds were delivered and installed on the timelines agreed at the outset. The installation of the blinds was carried out very carefully and the new blinds and controllers were fully set up before Gemma left the property. We had Luxaflex Powerview blinds in our previous home. Our new home has some large windows, and the blinds not only look great and provide privacy, but they have reduced heat loss through the glass. The ability to automate the opening and closing of the blinds is very convenient and a valuable security feature.
I recently had a set of real wood shutters installed in my home. They fitted perfectly and all the details that I requested were spot on. The colour is lovely too in a warm ivory rather than standard white. The quality of product and customer service of Luxaflex is fantastic.
We have always had Luxaflex products and our latest purchase of the Luxaflex roller blinds from our local independent Luxaflex Gallery dealer was a pleasure. I was amazed with the choice of fabrics and control options. We opted for the chain control in a cassette which looks super modern and hides the roller at the top of the window. Delighted with the quality and service.
