I (single mother) have been saving for a long time to be able to take another trip abroad with my daughter. I booked the cheapest possible flight to Barcelona online. We were already at the gate at 8:00 am and were supposed to fly at 10:30 am. After waiting 2 hours we could finally board. I could simply scan my boarding passes, but asked the employee if I also needed to show our passports. She peeked at my passport for a moment and suddenly said very rudely: You are not flying with us!! You only entered your initials and will not go on this flight!! I (haven't flown in 20 years) was very shocked and I wasn't aware of any harm and I told her: but you can see that it's me and that this is my name! But the rude employee pushed me aside and said: Move aside, you are not going on this flight!!! Just go to the service desk and book another flight!! My daughter in tears and me upset then walked down to the Vueling desk and then had to wait another half an hour before we were spoken to!! Then the employee said: you missed your flight!!! You should just book another flight or call Vueling's phone number and ask if they can do anything for you, otherwise you will have to pay 1000 euros for a name change!!! I then called Vueling's telephone number, but only a poorly English-speaking employee who did not want to do anything for me!! Service: ZERO!!! I was then forced to book another return flight with KLM! And what was on our KLM boarding passes: ONLY OUR INITIALS!! 990 euros poorer!!! Thanks to Vueling we will NOT be able to go on holiday again next year!! And they ruined our entire holiday!! VUELING NEVER AGAIN!!!
Destroyed my checked luggage by dropping ot of the transport and running it over with a truck before putting what was left of it on the luggage carousel.All reflected in the report and the incident was called to Nice airport luggage service before even releasing the luggage in my custody.Now Vueling offers me $50 compensation when my bag alone costs over $500 and was purchased 1 week prior to that trip, was brand new.Also the damaged contents, some of them lost on tarmac after the bag got run over by a truck.Vueling is breaking the laws of Montreal convention along with others.
My wife and I were flying from Gatwick to Málaga to meet up with in-laws at airport in Spain. Check-in desk tell us, only one person has seat as they have over booked. This meant one of us had to go on standby and our luggage would have a standby ticket. I am 70 years old and have travelled on an enormous amount of flights and never been treated this way. Even though my wife had been allocated two seats, we were told we still had to go on standby and someone had to be a no show for us to get on flight, which did eventually happen. As I was entering boarding gate I was told on no uncertain terms not to put rucksack in overhead locker and to put under seat. After sitting down stewardess tells me to store in overhead locker, as I have just had surgery on my hand this was difficult as my wife and I had now been separated and unfortunately. When arriving at Málaga our case didn't until two days later. On our return even though we had payed extra for a seat we were told our booking hadn't been responsive on their system and had to wait for seating allocation at rear of plane. Only to find out bought seats weren't beeping used and they gave one to a person that asked to move to be near a friend. I would never use this company again, it's all about screwing as much money out of you as possible and to hell with your opinion and comfort. Who knew that if you buy a ticket it doesn't guarantee you a seat with this company.
when you book with Vueling and need to cancel, you have to be careful: no refund, only credit for next flights. but what happens if you never fly again with them??? you lose everything... I cancelled a reservation within 10 minutes after booking and despite the fact I spoke with them within those 10 minutes (the amount was not yet withdrawn from my account), they still waited the amount to be definitely paid to tell me it was too late to do anything. It is written on the reservation that cancellation does not lead to reimbursement in cash but in credit. Still, the fact they waited the entire payment to be executed without even trying or accepting to put me through a supervisor and pretending they had put a message in the system whereas they did not is OUTRAGEOUS!!! Other companies do reimburse through the same credit card and they are still operating properly. This company is the worst. And now unfortunately I will have to fly with them again to use that credit. I already hate it. I will never ever fly again on this company after using the credit, and will certainly not advise anyone to use them to go anywhere. WORST IN CLASS...
I flew from Gatwick to Florence last night. The flight was two hours delayed and Vueling failed to tell anyone on the flight they hadn’t stowed a single bag in the hold. 24 hours later, no update from the airline other than what the Florence airport staff were left to update us last night - I.e. no one’s bags had travelled with them. A shocker, and needless to say their customer service number is not contactable too.
Taken assurance for my fly. Be delayed for 3;30h. Cost lot of money. Be robbed because fly was delayed. Than to arrive at 20:30 I arrived at 24:30. No train working took a bus and find myself 4:45 h away from home.Took a taxi and robbed.Lost £500 CrazyNo response from the company .I will take action through our regulations teams in UK.100 percent
Ref 09091937Our return flight from Cangas to Gatwick on the 3rd of June was canceled a few hours before our flight due to the air crew not having enough working hours to fly the plane.At Cangas ovd airport we were given a voucher for a hotel some 10km away and told that our food,drinks and accomodation would be covered as the next return flight was on the 6th of June some 3 days later,all seemed ok till we arived at the hotel,only to be told Vueling airline had not made a booking and the hotel was full.we were unable to contact vueling sp had no choice but to travel some 40 km back to the hotel we had left earlier as the airline could not be contacted.we sent the airline a claim for canceled flight,3 nights hotel,3 days food and drink,my wife missed one day of work,we also had to pay £45 extra for our car parked at Gatwick,we paid for taxi,s and our laundry as we planed on 4 nighs away and not 7.The airline has paid us just over £250 a fraction of our costs,when you phone them no matter which option you pick ypu go round in a circle and no one to speak to,emails dont get replys they are awfull tp deal with,i need this sorted very soon before we have to take it to a small claims court.Dont replay telling me to cotact you through your chanels no one replys,and if they do they have not read our email.How you can say its not down to you wjen the flight was canceled due to lack of staff.as i cant contact you by phone or email then we can chat on here for the world to seeIts quite simple and your reputation cant get much worse.well we have now received the flight cancelation payment,but no appology or explanation of how we were sent to a hotel we were not booked into,or compensation for loss of earnings,3 days extra parking,laundry costs etc.all has been reported to the Caa,why they didant sort it ages ago without geting an awfull review we may never know.No point in me emailing you,you dont read it,and you dont answer the phone,i think im still £300 out of pocket,you have my contact details.
Absolutely scandalous practice of overbooking the flights. A passenger shows up at the check in desk only to be told that the flight is overbooked. You will only get onboard if there are ‘no show’ passengers on the flight. HUGE AMOUNT OF UNNECESSARY STRESS at the very beginning of your journey. If possible avoid this airline!Dear Vueling customer service rep, please rest assured that while certainly you are sorry for the inconveniences I had on my last flight, I’m sure that people reading this review will find it hugely relieving to know that you remain available for ASSISTANCE THROUGH SOCIAL MEDIA. It was my very first time when I booked a flight with Vueling, and even if a flight cost €5, I will never ever fly with you again!!!Look at your reviews and consider how disrespectful you are to your passengers! Otherwise keep doing what you’re doing and you will be out of business in no time!
Whilst travelling from Alicante to Cardiff this morning. My mother was taken ill on the flight. The staff were attentive, nothing was too much trouble for them and she felt well looked after. Amazing service.. So grateful for the assistance that the staff offered. Cannot praise them enough
