Disappointed

Took my 2023 Subaru Forester for it's oil change and car checkup prior to going up 95N with 4 dogs on a rescue transport. Went to the store on Brompton Lane Greeneville NC. The manager knew I was going up the road. I picked up the 4 dogs and was headed out north two weeks after my service. The tire light comes on. It's 6:30 am and nothing is open to help me. I put air in all the tires at the local gas station. The tire light won't go off. I take the car to the closest car dealer and was lucky enough to get a service guy to look at the tires before the shop opened. All the tires were low, 25,26 and 27 psi. I believe the Meinke service failed to check the tire pressures. Don't go there!

Meineke Guaynabo

Meineke Guaynabo, PR.Dishonest! Be careful and watch out with these people!Poor work quality! I had to return the car several times after being repaired, due to a work badly done. Extremely Pricey! They overcharge for any service or parts provided, and the prices are extremely expensive for their poor services.Do not trust them! They charged high prices for original parts, that caused additional failures and problems because they were not original parts as they said!Panic button! They touch your panic button to scare you with a very worrying argument, to make you accept their services right away, specially if you are a woman!!! Irresponsible people! They do not take responsibility when their service is badly done. They play you with words and arguments.I do not recommend them at all! But if you go to them, I suggest you to go for a second opinion. Thanks!-----‐------------Meineke Guaynabo, PR.Deshonestos! Los Peores!Baja Calidad! Gracias!

FREE Veteran Day OIL CHANGE was not free

I received a FREE OIL CHANGE coupon at Meineke Car Care for being a Veteran, on Veteran Day. On my scheduled appointment date, I had my oil changed, but was informed that I owe $97.64. After attempting to discuss the cost, the manager (by phone), decided to grant me a military service discount. I paid $62.69 for the oil change. I was told that the coupon was only free for Synthetic Blend, and my vehicle requires Full Synthetic Oil. My reply and my complaint is that I should have been told this prior to changing my oil.I know my vehicle typically can use both Blend or Full Synthetic Oil. And, as a military customer, I believe I was truly deceived by Meineke concerning their misrepresentation of their so call FREE Veteran Day Coupon.

Price Gouging and Unfair Practices

charge excessive labor fees, double-dipping by billing separately for connecting parts that fit together, costing over an hour of labor for a simple task. They also overcharge for parts—$69 part were marked up to nearly $300. When I confronted the manager, they were dismissive and refused to adjust the charges. I’ve filed a complaint with the CFPB for violations of the Unfair, Deceptive, or Abusive Acts or Practices (UDAAP) Act and encourage others who’ve been overcharged to do the same. Women especially, beware of their discriminatory practices.

I had an 11:00 appointment for a Basic…

I had an 11:00 appointment for a Basic Oil Change (oil and filter). They didn't finish until 12:30 (as printed on my receipt). Ninety minutes for a simple oil change? I did not request a vehicle inspection but they presented me with a list of repair concerns that totalled hundreds of dollars. When I told them I wasn't interested in having them do the extra work, the manager(?) said they don't make money from oil changes (not my problem, is it?) and that their shop would not do oil changes for me any more. So, basically they are not doing the service they are advertising. I've been a customer of this Meineke since 2016 and have even recommended them to others. No more. I suggest that you take your business to a reputable shop that does not engage in unethical practices. Have a good day.

BEWARE

Took my truck to this place to have my front brakes checked. After they worked on my brakes I drove away and when I pressed on the brake pedal, they felt really loose. I also experienced a smell of my brakes grinding. So, I finally to my truck to the dealer to have them fix my brake. I shared this information with a manager, and he informed me that it would take two days to respond to the diagnosis from the dealer The manager also suggested that I should have allowed his company a chance to repair what they broke. The person that did my brakes did them "WRONG". Why would I give them another opportunity to make matters worse. Also, while I was waiting on my truck to get fixed, the Meineke employee explains that the parts delivery driver never showed up, so the company went next door and purchased parts from the local parts store. So, Meineke charged me full price for a lessor quality part. The cost for Meineke to break my brakes 574.88 Meineke conceded the amount of 300 something. I can't remember, I was mad. The total amount I had to pay to fix what Meineke made inoperable 916.35 You do the math

Unacceptable work performance

My son went to get a muffler replaced. The mechanic did such an awful job. He ended up going somewhere else to get other work done and was shown the horrible job done by this company. They did half welds to the muffler and left puncture holes in the product they replaced. My son paid additional funds to the new business and contacted this company for some type of reimbursement. He was told that the job they did had a warranty and that he should have taken the car back. Who would want them to touch his car after the horrific job they did in the first place. Totally unacceptable! This is no way to do business!

The Most Dishonest Service

I took my car to Meineke #2479 in Lancaster TX. I was charged $1402.00 for sensor repair. I received a call that I would need additional work of $5574.89. I was approved for repair financing of $6000.00. When the store manager Desmund Grier came into the office, I was being helped by Nate Brunson. Mr. Grier asked Mr. Brunson did he check his email because I was approved for $6000. After my car was inspected I was informed I only needed the sensor. I received a call two days later that I would need the $5574.89 repair. I asked about the price of the sensor which is $185.00 at the Infiniti dealership, why was their price $551.00. Mr. Grier informed me that they could not sell to me their price and he stated WELCOME TO THE AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY with a chuckle. My heart sunk. I called their corporate office and was told they could take off the $1402.00 and I would only be responsible for the $5574.89. I realized they only wanted to get the $6000.00 that I was approved for. Now my car is not working right, after they supposedly installed the $1402.00 sensor and now my AWD repair light is on that was not on when I took the car to them. I did not expect such blatant dishonestly from Meineke but I will never, ever, ever, ever take a vehicle I own to them.

Extremely satisfied thanks to the Manager

The store are all corporate owned, but I think the manager & the repair person at a specoific store is what can make all the difference in the world. The manager at the Fesaterville PA store, John, was great on so many levels, Much better than Firestone on Bustleton Ave in PHILLY
