I had to have my battery change. I thought it was both of them. The guy Josh I believe was his name was spot on.Instead of being quoted $800 it was $500.It worked fine. I was very happy with the professionalize they provided. The service was perfect. The store was spotless. I am not from Kingman but I will be back.
Never trust on them. I had an appointment when went and asked them that i need oil change and had an appointment they told me you need to leave your car for 2 hours to have oil change. Why people should taking appointments because to save the time. they never worth on only 1 star.
If I can give the owner and his lazy, no good workers a zero I would never go for breaks rotors or any mechanic work are you will have other work if they check your brakes you will end up needing rotors cause they don’t put them on correctly, I would never recommend no one or go to this shop ever and I was warned before I went, but the price was a good deal. You get what you pay for that’s true.
Warning to consumers: we were charged $680.34 for work that never been authorized at the Meineke Car Care Center in Northbrook, ILMy husband brought our car for a service and obtain the written estimate. When he picked it up, our credit card had been charged extra $680.34 for additional services that were not in the estimate and that never had been approved. The mager of the shop did not verify with my husband the amount to be charged when processed the payment. When we questioned about the charge, the manager claimed she had texted to my husband a revised estimate and that he had agreed to it. However, she could not provide any proof in support of her words, and we never received such a message. Despite this fact, the invoice listed the extra work as "approved."It's very sad as we used this shop for a long time in the past and had been always happy with the service. However, the previous owner retired and the new owner Nish Kirk could easaly destroyed the reputation, earned by this business for many years'.Consumers should be very cautious. Charging for work without the client authorization and marking it as "approved" is extremely concerning. We strongly advise anyone using this location to carefully review their estimate and final invoice before paying.
They were unprofessional at camphill locations Gettysburg rd they said let's get this oil bucket out of here they said 12000 dollars of work needed I declined they got mad they are a rip off over priced and tries to get more work done I went in for a oil change on my gmc Denali I won't be back
I took my Malibu there just to get camshaft position sensor fix they didn’t even fix the problem they only fix the thermostat starter motor and the wheel hub I never mention it at all today this morning I got check engine light due to camshaft position sensor never take your car here place need to shut down completely
Based on my personal experience with three different Meineke locations in January 2026, and the subsequent formal written complaints submitted to Meineke headquarters, I hereby issue this official warning.Despite my clear and repeated request for a written explanation regarding serious deficiencies in connection with a basic service (an oil change), Meineke has refused to provide any written response. Instead, I have been subjected to persistent and unwanted phone calls, starting as early as 7:00 a.m. and occurring multiple times per day, even after explicitly requesting not to be contacted by phone. The situation culminated in a final phone call in which the Meineke representative asked me what they were supposed to do and what the matter was about despite the fact that my written complaint regarding Meineke’s service deficiencies spans over a full page. When I reiterated that I expect a written statement, I was explicitly told: “We do not have the capacity to respond to you in writing. Have a great day.” The call was then terminated. This conduct demonstrates a blatant disregard for customers, is unprofessional, and borders on harassment. It is particularly notable that Meineke apparently has ample time to repeatedly call me, yet claims to lack the capacity to provide a written response to documented service complaints. The reactions of the individual Meineke locations were equally unacceptable. Customers are simply referred to a hotline that appears unaware of the issues and repeatedly asks, “What do you actually want?”The standard response from Meineke locations is repeatedly more or less the same, for example:“We’re sorry to hear about your experience and appreciate you taking the time to share it. At Meineke in Las Vegas, we’re committed to quality brake repairs, tire services, oil changes, and inspections. We’d like the opportunity to help make things right—please contact us at (800) 447-3070.”However, this is precisely where the problem lies. What I experienced was not quality service, but rather systematic customer deception, both at the individual franchise level and at the corporate headquarters.Based on my experience, the systematic humiliation and disregard of the customer appear to be a top priority, rather than accountability, transparency, or genuine resolution of documented service failures. As a result of this behavior, I will now file formal complaints with the following authorities:-Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) Occupational & Business Licensing / Compliance Enforcement Division-Nevada Attorney General / Bureau of Consumer Protection-Better Business Bureau (BBB)I am confident that Meineke will then suddenly find the capacity to issue a written response. It is regrettable that escalation to regulatory authorities has become necessary, but this outcome is the direct result of Meineke’s own actions and refusal to engage professionally and transparently.
Too pricey and never does what needs to be done and the warranty is too short my husband took his car to meineke in Newark NJ and they was only supposed to fix the water pump and nothing else the next they saying it was other problems I'm never letting them fix his car again because the issue was already there problem from the beginning.
Beware. This place lacks of ethics, transparency and their manager is not an honest person.I took my SUV to Meineke to replace the oil cooler. After picking it up, the vehicle was leaking power steering fluid and coolant badly.I returned to the shop, but they kept my vehicle all day and claimed there were no leaks, even though the leaks were obvious. I even went below my truck and pointed out myself at the liquid falling of the motor and was then when they "saw" the leak and asked me to return on Monday "as there were no mechanics to do the job on that day". When I came back the following Monday, they refused to fix the damage and blamed it on the age of the vehicle.I took my car to a different mechanic and later confirmed that when Meineke mechanic removed the power steering fluid container, damaged the power steering reservoir gasket and installed incorrect gaskets, causing the power steering leak, which later damaged a coolant line gasket. So I needed to pay another mechanic to fix the damages done by Meineke. Driving a vehicle with a power steering leak is extremely dangerous. If the fluid had completely drained while I was driving, I could have lost steering control and been in a serious accident. A coolant leak can also cause severe engine overheating and permanent engine damage. They put my life at risk and then refused to take responsibility for the damage they caused.Based on my experience this shop lacks experienced mechanics and refuses to take responsibility for their mistakes. I do not recommend this location. Will report them to DACO and the BBB as soon as I get my car back.
