Your personal information and money is…

Your personal information and money is not safe with Microsoft. I had an unused account that was breached and used to make fraudulent purchases for gift cards on the Microsoft store. Rather than identifying who redeemed the cards and refunding my account, Microsoft refused to seek any solution.

If I could give zero stars to this company I would. What an awful, stressful and upsetting experienc

If I could give zero stars, I would!! Microsoft is an absolute shambles of a company. DO NOT ever take out an email account with Microsoft. My email account unfortunately was compromised and Microsoft has locked me out of my account. I understand they have to take security seriously and I respect that and agree that they should take steps into providing support regarding this, but I have spent months filling out numerous forms providing as much security information as possible (didn't even get one response off them from the numerous forms I sent off). I have been in contact with numerous Microsoft customer service team, all of them telling me to fill out security forms and being promised it would work, it doesn't, still no success and still no access to my emails. I have had an email account with Microsoft for over 19 years. I feel absolutely frustrated with the situation, as I use my email for personal and business use with extremely important information on my emails that I need and must gain access too on a daily basis. It has affected my job, and caused me a lot of stress. I feel that no matter how much information I provide them, how many times I speak to them, they are stopping me from gaining access to my emails. All Microsoft do, is provide their customers with an email address, that is it. All I want is to be able to gain access to my email and it has been an extremely upsetting and frustrated experience. I don't know if Microsoft will ever be able to let me gain access to my own emails ever again, but I know for a fact I will no longer be using them as a provider in the future and will warm a lot of people not to use them with the awful experience I have received. BE WARNED, NEVER EVER use Microsoft, if you wish to take out an email account.

Locked me out of my email account I…

Locked me out of my email account I made only for my Xbox live account. The recovery phone number was from about 4 years ago. I had to use their horrible automated account recovery service that asks questions I can answer without getting into the account. It makes me list emails and subject lines but I’ve never sent a single email through it. Now it won’t let me into my account and years worth of digital games I have paid for are wasted because I can’t login to the account on my Xbox. It is ridiculous. Makes it even worse that the account is my home Xbox account.

Do not buy Surface Pro

Just over two years of using Surface Pro 8. Medium usage levels. Keyboard has died. Tried all fixes, must be a hardware issue. You pay £1400 for a Microsoft laptop and get 2 years use for it. Not a bad computer for the two years but turns out a waste of money. An OEM replacement keyboard is silly money. When you check online you find it’s a common issue. Never again Microsoft. Shoddy quality.

You think you own your PC?

I didn’t choose to use Microsoft BitLocker. But now I loose all my data. Stupid system and even worse company. Ever used Skype? Backward. You do not own your PC or your data. Beware.

I had a code for a 3 month PC game pass. However, upon attempting to activate the code, it said it had already been redeemed.I contacted Microsoft Support, Microsoft would not help.If Microsoft cannot ensure the goods & services it provides are secured for redemption by the intended recipient then Microsoft should take responsibility for that.Very disappointed.

Just complete and utter pain

Trying to get any help through their customer service options is more painful than the problems I’m having. I have a working Xbox X that I used my phone to set up now the Xbox ruins perfectly, the mobile app is still signed into my Xbox account. However my mobile app refuses to connect to my Xbox now and I just got hung up on before saying hello to the customer service rep after waiting for over an hour when the eta was 11 minutes. None of their resources help and can’t seem to get a live chat with a person and I’m unable to get back on the wait list for a phone call. The virtual assistant is equally as useless and those are only my Xbox account problems. I have a one drive on my laptop and computer that just flat out doesn’t work that I haven’t even tried to fix yet. I’m about to switch to PlayStation and Apple are this rate. So incredibly frustrated
