I would give 000 stars if I could

I would give 000 stars if I could. This rep was a sales person NOT tech support. I have a brand new HP w/MS11 installed. I asked for help and was told I had to pay $35 + $17 for a total of $52!!! for ONE month's support. Shame on Microsoft. Doesn’t Bill Gates make enough money?!!! Does he really have to nickel and dime the (senior) citizens of this country to make more!? I told this rep 3x that I would seek help elsewhere and he continued to try to sell me! After the 3rd time, he said, "You won't get it for free!" Send him on his way - to a car dealership preferably in Columbia so his accent can be better understood.

Terrible Activation and Telephony experience.

Absolutely terrible. Just been on the support for 1.5 hours, spoken to 3 different managers and have been cut off twice. Was promised a call back the second time if this happened and have yet to receive one. I'm experiencing an issue with Windows activation due to recently changing hardware in my PC. Microsoft's response is essentially 'tough'. I don't believe for a second that there is no way for them to generate another digital license for scenarios such as these. It shouldn't be the customer's fault that Microsoft moved from product keys to digital licenses, yet it seems like they are pinning it on to the customer. Ridiculous.

From hero to zero

From hero to zero, let me clarify. What once was your own personal workspace is now a tool for Microsoft to get and sell customer data. Recently they crossed the final bridge now they enforce Microsoft users to download apps from the Microsoft store. Every app needs to be build on Microsoft edge meaning that all the features these apps had using any decent browsers are no longer supported for example downloading a movie or series on Netflix is no longer available on Microsoft devices. just f this company

I got a new Windows 11 computer

I got a new Windows 11 computer. This company has it set up to attempt to control, sell and monitor many of the computers operations. It asks to sign in constantly, sends pin #'s to enter or emails to confirm the password that is on my single person usage computer in my home!!!!! I removed as many useless (most) Microsoft programs off MY computer but they put some back on. IE: I removed One Drive, the MSFT cloud storage. It's not needed because this company is so incompetent I would be SCARED they had possession of my stuff, I will control (back up of) my own data. Somehow when making any new file the 'default' save location is One Drive, you know, the program I removed from my computer. My Edge browser attempt. After 20 minutes of entering passwords, opening my emails for pins and being sent around in a MSFT never-ending sign-in circle I went back to Firefox and have not opened Edge since. Help is another joke. Like many CS departments when you send an email asking something it is not read. The reply is mostly here are some articles to read. If I could find the answer ANYWHERE, I would not waste my time with your CS department that does not help any or many people. The W11 system also changes folder views among other things it 'decided' I needed. Man, what a life, when you are the only company on the planet you can treat any (non huge) customer like dog poop. If I was smart enough to use Linux Ubuntu. I actually attempted to use my Windows 7 computer in an offline mode & use this W11 computer only for going online. Experiment failed, MSFT continually put up a window stating Windows 7 needs to be upgraded. My problem today is I wasted an hour+ (unsuccessfully) attempting to get all the folders in the computer to show as medium icons. Couldn't do it because these idi er people apparently "know" more about what I would like than I do

Soooo frustrating

Soooo frustrating. My main use for the computer aside from Google internet searches is for storing and editing my photos. I never asked for One Drive and find it so confusing. I tried not to use it but it seems to sneak on back hijacking everything. I didn't want Windows 11 either and nothing but problems since it accidentally downloaded after popping up in the middle of everything I did. Windows 11 also caused my daughter's old computer to crash and needing to be replaced. I used to love windows a decade ago but each new windows means more frustration and irritation. The photo editing facility is not as good as before. My workplace uses Google Chromebooks and I now find this easier than microsoft. Time to switch I think.

I paid for Microsoft 365 & never got activation. However the support team were unable to help me, it should be a simple act of giving me an activation code so I can activate my software. ITs been a month now and I am still getting charged for a product that I do not have access to. Support team kept sending me around from one link to another, when its a simple fix: ACTIVATE MY PRODUCT LICENSESupport is so abysmal, here I am writing a bad review to get their attention

Gambling or loans... try Outlook

Outlook is a great app, but the constant ads are gambling or loan related. Surely that can't be right.....
