I have a built in oven that I purchased…

I have a built in oven that I purchased 2018. I bought the 10 year warranty and have had problems with the enamel crazing and chipping in the oven. In 2024 it was really bad and I had a technician from Miele come to check, said it couldn't be fixed and that I had to get it replaced. I was contacted immediately from Miele and had the oven replaced within a few weeks. Now however this new oven is chipping again and a technician came to see the issue and advised again that the oven needs to be replaced. It has been one month since the visit and I am not able to get any info regarding the progress of this file! Every time I call Miele another person answers and assures me the file will be escalated and that I will receive a call within 48 hours. Needless to say I am still waiting and left wasting my time to call back and wait on hold 30 plus minutes only to be told the same story. I am thoroughly disappointed with the service and the product since two ovens in a row have enamel that has broken down!!

Paid in full over 3 months ago… still not received

Ordered and paid in full for a product that was in stock middle of September. Called end of December to find out where it was and was told the order had not been processed. I was then told that it would be expedited and delivered by January 8th. It is now January 11th. Still no sign of the item I ordered.

0 stars if possible! Biggest piece of junk accompanied by useless technicians, I bought a Miele washing machine 30 years ago. It was fantastic. It stopped working and I found a gasket that had worn. I called Miele and they insisted on sending a technician out, for about $270. When technician arrived he plugged his computer into the machine and the computer told him it was no good. I said, It’s just the gasket, I am certain? His response, We’re not trained to look at machines this old, you’ll need to replace it, I don’t know why I paid for this bogus service call, I then doubled down on stupidity and bought another Miele, it’s the W1 Classic, Eco Plus and Comfort. I hate that thing like nothing else on earth. I hate Miele and I recommend literally any other brand than this once-good-brand who is no longer. Miele is the Jocelyn Wilderstein of white goods. Started off great and now is totally butchered. FYI the worst thing about this machine is that it’s impossible to re-set. If you accidentally start it on a program on realise it’s the wrong program within a nanosecond - too bad for you. Unplugged it - no good. Opened the door 12 times (apparently this signals a reset) - no good. A million different options tried - no good. The programs are limited and rubbish too, I could go on. Just save yourself time, money and complete frustration and avoid this brand. Date of experience has been for six years now and still suffering.

Miele's response

I had an issue with my freezer not making ice cubes and I wrote a review about my disappointment with it and I have to say that Miele responded almost immediately! They totally made good and covered the cost of travel and parts to fix the problem! they were great to deal with and it is working again thanks for your quick response!

Terrible service it’s been 12 weeks and…

Terrible service it’s been 12 weeks and they haven’t been able to install a hood fan. The Miele installer did it incorrectly has less than 30” clearance from the range. When I point it out to the installer he gives me attitude and becomes verbally abusive. Has made all the other contractors make multiple revisions and now finally refused to install it. I would stay far away from buying Miele.

I am still waiting for service under warranty

I am still waiting for service under warranty for my dishwasher and it has been a week. I got the service providers number from Miele and left messages myself and still have not heard from anyone. Also when they installed my dishwasher the installer flooded my basement.

We went all in with Miele

We went all in with Miele, tempted by their ads claiming they were built to last. In under four years, both appliances have failed. What’s worse is they charge up to half the cost of the appliance just to come and look at it, and immediately try to rope you into a £59 video call to see if they can fix it remotely. The build quality is appalling and the customer service is the worst imaginable. You’re better off buying a cheaper brand, as the repair costs are higher than replacing it with a new one.

I recently bought the HG07 which I have had about two months now and after one a LG and then a Ariston I understand why miele is the best so easy to use pack and the cutely drawer is the best as it if more utilise easy while leaving plenty of room on the second shelve the three arm makes for an more cleaner dishes, and the adjustable height help to, plus you can order a traditional basket if you prefer Would highly recommend and will buy again if it needs to be replaced thanks Miele Very happy 😊

Absolutely no help at all.

Absolutely no help at all. This expensive German company only includes instructions in German. All other languages are only online or as pdf files. I cannot use a pdf file to find instructions to operate my new oven. I asked the lady to get them in English from Britain. Her answer? I have never been asked to do something like that and I cannot imagine that it would be possible. I asked her to try because I need it. She said NO, Miele CANNOT do that, she wished me a good day, and hung up. WOW. Terrible way to treat a customer. I have never received such terrible service in my life.Update: Today, August 13th, I received my English manual in the mail. Thank you for that. I hope that this was an isolated incident.
