Having purchased Miele Products for our new kitchen a couple of years ago, I can only say we are extremely disappointed.We purchased a separate fridge and freezer, oven, microwave, and electric hob. (6k)Within this period of ownership the microwave hinges have snapped and the fridge seal has gone.Extremely Poor from a supposed premimium product ( it is clearly not ) !New hinges are £117.84 EACH 😂😂😂Very disappointed with the non existent customer service.I would certainly not recommend this brand as a premium product as it once may have beenUpdate….As of this week we have had an engineer sent to the house by Miele and rectified the issues with our machines. It did take a little bit of negotiation with Miele UK but all is now sorted.After my first experience with the customer service !I must say the service I received from the head office was first class.I am still a little disappointed that these machines of barely 3 years old could fail like this, but we are where we are
Meille DishwasherI bought this about 2 years ago I tried contacting customer service as I could not set the water hardness level. They asked for all relevant stuff seriel number etc this I sent to them but they never replied I also said that I had to push to on button 4 or 5 times to switch the machine on.Sadly it would seem that Meille no longer offer customer support for their products.
We ordered a new induction stove directly from Miele. We have many Miele products and have been fully satisfied with them (we purchased through a retailer, Caplan's). This time we went direct - don't do it! You get the same price at the retailer plus they act as your advocate. We ended up cancelling our order after waiting 3 months and subsequently finding out the range was not even on their books since we had not paid in full. Reasonable I suppose, but it was very unclear and the agent(s) new we wanted asap and requested it earlier then the 'proposed first week of Nov'. You will not get any phone calls- even when promised, any issues are acknowledged but absolutely nothing done about. It is like talking to a wall.Go to a retailer they understand customer service and help you get to where you want to be.
I concur with much of the feedback here. We bought a Miele dishwasher which we've had repeatedly fixed at our own expense, until finally we asked Miele to do something about it after it started flashing F10, F11, F24 & F70. Their mechanic said the machine is finished and, by his own admission this model was junk. Miele asked us to send in the invoices and they would get back to us within 48 hours. As you've read below, they don't. Dishwashers really are a very basic technology and sadly Miele can't make them. Or if they can, they won't stand behind the ones that are defective.
Terrible customer services, have called three times. First time cut off (deliberate), second time promised to be contacted (did not happen). Third time found out that the first two calls had no notes against them. It is clear your fridge handle has a problem, both of ours have broken in the same place.. and other customers have reported the same thing. Should you not be replacing them free of charge. Premier appliances? If this is a fault then it should be replaced free. Also according to your customer services(calls recorded) there are no managers to escalate to and there is no complaint process? Absolutely shocking.
My husband and I purchased six Miele appliances for our new home. We also purchased four Gaggenau, and one Bora. In the past we owned mainly Bosch appliance. all non-Miele appliance have worked as expected. Miele has been nothing but a waste of money. One month into the purchase of the washing machine, we had issues with it. It was giving too much soap, someone from Miele came to see it and we were told that it was a set up issue so they charged us for the visit. Six month later it was a same issue, they came and said it was a a set up issue, so we got charged again, even though they set it up the last time! Two years later the machine breaks and we get charge a large bill for the repair. We had a Bosch washing machine before that lasted us from 2007 to 2020 without any issue. We have had other minor issues with all other Miele appliance. I strongly suggest that no one waste their money and time purchasing a Miele appliance.
The worst experience of an electrical purchase ever. 11 cycles of tumble drying in a very expensive heat pump model and the compressor has a problem and the machine is not viable for repair. Bought it end of July ready for the winter months ahead, used it first time end of September, problem was there straight away. Called up the retailer who kindly arranged for Miele to attend. On the Monday after 2.5 hrs here and waiting 10 days for him to arrive the engineer said the side panel has a problem, it's vibration and now all is fixed. Next day the problem is straight back on the 1st first cycle, you should hear it, what an awful loud noise, grinding on and on, hour by hour. By Friday and another call out it's a compressor problem, machine now not worth the repair and this is from the same engineer...quite a difference in the diagnosed problem I would say. I don't wish to have the machine replaced as I have lost full confidence in the product so I have politely requested a refund. I am never buying Miele again and I'm an old time customer of over 20yrs, I'm very very disappointed. This matter is still ongoing at the time of writing.
Our Miele washing machine broke just after 3 years. No warranty and we need to pay 1500 plus to repair. We decided to buy a new Miele. The first wash the machine is given errors and opens the door within the program letting all the water flow on the floor. It appears that calling a cheap brand wash machine supplier is easier then Miele service UAE and get a replacement. After spending 3 hours and 7 calls they decided to send a senior engineer to repair a brand new machine!! First delivering a broken machine and then want to repair it the same day!! Simply we are being told that a new machine will take 3-4 days. Knowing that when we ordered the new machine it was here within 2 days. This is now the 2nd Miele broken in 3 years. A shame knowing that you should pay for quality. And not even talking about the service, which is even more worse. And when I touched the subject compensation it got silent on the line.
I had an appointment with thE technician for repairing a dryer and a washing machine. The timeline of the appointment was 12-14. He came 15 min earlier and did not wait. This is after a wait of 3 weeks, for them to come! This is the second time they don't respect the appointments! Plus, it is the second time for both machines, when they are broken, within 2 years from buying them. Miele is not the same quality and client service as before. I will never again buy Miele.
