Totally and utterly inept. Ordered a brand new dishwasher on 24 November 2024. Engineer came out to install on 27 November 2024 and snapped the pipe on the new dishwasher. He took my old dishwasher away, flooded my kitchen and left the pipes uncapped which caused a constant leak. Second engineer was booked in for a couple of days later. He delivered the new dishwasher and refused to install it. Walked away. Didn't bother sorting the leak left by engineer 1. Then a third engineer was booked for 9 December. They decided they couldn't install the dishwasher and advised of an installation date of 6 January 2025!!! Complaint and concerns were raised with Miele's Customer Service team from the visit of engineer 1 in November. No response from them. All they keep saying is "your complaint has been raised to the highest level". They flooded my kitchen and left me with a constant leak. They took my old dishwasher away and this has been such a distressing experience. My partner is heavily pregnant and we have young children. We needed and paid for a new dishwasher to be installed ASAP. We kept up our end of the bargain by purchasing a Miele Dishwasher and putting faith into them. They have badly let us down. They couldn't even be bothered to acknowledge my various emails. They take your money and leave you stranded. In the end I did not trust Miele and have paid out of my own pocket to get the dishwasher installed. Buyer beware, they definitely provide premium products but the customer service is the worst I have ever experienced. As you can see from Miele's response, they said they would contact me. We are still waiting for a response from Miele, even though on 2 December 2024 and 11 December 2024, their customer services representatives advised they have escalated this matter as high as it can go (whatever that means) and someone will categorically be in touch with me within 24/48 hours. Still waiting for a response 120+ hours!!
Customer support outright misled me, claiming they could clean the interior of my range hood for $300, which led me to book an appointment. When the technician arrived, he informed me that this service doesn’t even exist. To make matters worse, he said Miele’s customer support team rotates every six months, and it's not the first time they make such false promises. I was charged $300 for nothing but a two-minute conversation with the technician. This level of incompetence and disregard for customers is absolutely infuriating and unacceptable.Lesson learned: 1. Always record your call with customer service team2. Record the service you actually receive, compared to what they promise3. Never choose Miele
I’m looking to remodel my kitchen and was thinking of possibly purchasing a Miele range/stove so randomly searched for reviews and came across this site which has terrible reviews.But I just have to say, I’ve had a variety of Miele products that are insanely amazingly functional and have lasted years and years without a single issue. It’s literally the best brand of household products I’ve ever used.
Having been a loyal customer with 3 expensive Miele appliances we are shocked & dismayed at the totally chaotic procedure for repairing our washer/dryer. We have been without a machine for over 2 months now!! We have had 2 engineer visits which didn’t resolve the issue on neither visit were any parts brought along despite fault code number reported. Additionally 4 last minute appointment cancellations the last being today. This has been going on since 23/11/2024. Come on Miele this is totally unacceptable from a company that sells premium products at a premium price. Customer service certainly not premium!
My Miele washing machine has a 10 year warranty. It is just under 5 years old. I bought it on the basis that my previous machine lasted almost 15 years and the customer service was brilliant and the call out quick and efficient. So what's gone wrong @Miele? I have an alert "waterproof" and can't use my machine. I rang on November 14th at 9am to request an engineer under warranty. I was told a partner company would call me. No one rang so I called the next day. I was told it would take 48 hours for someone to call. Today is the 18th November and still no one has called. I called again and the advisor said I needed proof of purchase. Sorry but I'm not telepathic and the other two didn't mention it. He kindly offered to ring the agent and rang me back to say a visit has been booked for the 28th November!! So three chasing calls later I'm told that I have to wait another two weeks and they can't guarantee they will have the parts with them! I have a large family and need my expensive washing machine working ASAP. I asked if I could get my own engineer and send Miele the bill because i need the machine working in the next day or two. It's already been out of action for 5 days. But no. Miele doesn't work like that. I don't think Miele work at all to be honest. I have always recommended them but will think twice about it in future.
They didn’t deliver the washing machine I ordered. They didn’t contact me to say it wouldn’t be delivered, on the arranged day. They didn’t send a booking email or contact me to arrange a new delivery. It’s been nearly 3 weeks since they agreed to refund the money but after several calls, I still haven’t had a refund. They didn’t call me back when they said they would update me on the refund.
I have a Miele WWD660 washing machine - bought it 3 and a half years ago, so it's out of the 25 months warranty. Everything was working without a problem, but a week ago it just stopped and showed an F49 error code. A quick online check showed me that this is a TwinDos error code.I removed the back cover to check if there is some kind of a leak, but I did not expect that - the bottom plate is all covered in a lot of rust!I called Miele service - and made an appointment.Also, I've sent an email to Miele.de - but still no answer - nobody cares neither for the quality issue nor for the clients! After the technician check, the result is - the TwinDos system is leaking and the UltraPhase detergent is "eating" the bottom plate. Somehow, this affects the TwinDos control PCB board (which is high above the leakage) and now I need a new PCB board for around €250.Asking the technician what is the reason for the leak - "most probably small plastic debris from the UltraPhase container got into the TwinDos system"! Sounds like a lame excuse for the design/quality problem of the TwinDos system!The only possible way to prevent this from happening is to call the Miele service at least twice a year to come and check for a leak! The sensors inside do not react to detergent leakage.So, now I have to pay for the repair - which is not the big problem, but it doesn't solve the root of the problem and it only fixes the consequences! At least twice a year, I'll have to remove the dryer from the top of the washing machine, get it out of the room so there is enough space for the technician to inspect the washing machine and of course - to pay for the service check...twice..every year!This is what you get when you buy the most expensive washing machines on the market - it works for 2-3 years, you buy their own detergent which is breaking the washing machine and the only way to prevent damage is to pay them more for service checks!Great quality and great service!Will not recommend or go near Miele appliance again!
I purchased a built-in Miele coffee maker. It didn't work. A part was bad. I've been on the phone with customer service multiple times. They sent out a technician. He discovered a part was needed. Now, a month after it was installed, I'm still waiting for the part and a working coffee maker. I have no idea when it will be fixed. $6,000 for a coffee maker that didn't work out of the box.
If i could give zero star i would, bought Miele cat & dog vacuum cleaner from Currys, This was to replace my old Miele cat & dog vacuum which I had, had for 10 years with no issues. Anyway the new Miele did not pick up as good as my previous and after 5 uses started to smell of burning. I contacted Currys who told me to contact Miele, I had to provide proof of purchase to Miele, unfortunately the receipt from Currys was faded, so Miele said they could not read it and that if I could not provide a clear receipt as proof of purchase they would charge me for the repair. I have the box for the vacuum, the tools are still all wrapped up never used, you can clearly see on the Currys receipt that it is for a Miele Cat and Dog. You can't return in original box you have to wait for a "special" box from Miele to put the return in and then wait for a courier to pick it up. It is a joke, you buy an expensive appliance that does not work, your afraid to use it as it may go on fire and they do not care. They want you to stay home waiting for a box, then stay at home waiting for collection. BUY A DIFFERENT MAKE STAY AWAY FROM MIELE
