I recently rented a vehicle from Miles and had a disappointing experience. The final charge was significantly higher than what was originally shown in the app, and the invoice didn’t clearly match the trip or charging details. It was confusing and felt quite misleading.While the car itself was in good condition, the lack of transparency in billing and poor explanation of the extra costs left a bad impression.Because of this experience, I will not be hiring from Miles again.

Quick, Helpful, and Absolutely Amazing!

Honestly, the whole experience was just great!My ID had expired and I was trying to update it, but every time I scanned my passport, the app crashed. And of course, I urgently needed to use a Miles car at that exact moment.Even though I had to go through the AI support and a manual check, the team jumped in and was incredibly helpful. Within just 30 minutes, I had an updated ID and was able to get on my way safely and stress-free.Huge thanks to the team — and a special shoutout to Blair and Nico for being absolute stars! I really appreciated the quick and kind support.

I put 2 stars because before than today…

I put 2 stars because before than today I never experienced problems with Miles, but yesterday I got a fine because I was "smoking" in the car. The funny thing is that I don't smoke and I have more than 100 trips in less than a year. Someone was smoking outside the car and I needed to pay for the smoke which entered in the car.I don't think I will use it again if theres the possibility to get fined so easily for something you did not even do

Pathetic customer service by Mario Price after their app couldn’t connect to their car, when it finally did and I ended the ride, the doors closed and everything seemed finally working, but it wasn’t and they wanted to charge me for two days of rental, even though I wrote to them after a day…Horrible customer service and sketchy af app.

I am experienced in the most pathetic…

I have experience with the most pathetic customer service. I tried logging into the app and learned the account was permanently suspended. I tried to reach the website, and the chatbot is implemented with AI, which is more like a cherry on the cake. There was no phone number where I could reach an agent to understand the cause of the suspension. I got an email saying your account is suspended, and the decision is final. You can see that 55% are only five stars, and 30% + are one star. That means your function is not working. It's time for self-reflection. This company is running on arrogance rather than customer service. Recently, when I speak in general, people are unhappy about the unknown reasons for the suspension. As the community grows, such negative feedback spreads faster than good words.Well, all good. Still, public transport and other mobility services are at the top in Munich. If there are no happy customers, then there is no business. One last request: please do not write back. Getting humans behind the desk to support your customer success is better than AI and Chatbots!

Tried MILES after a frustrating ShareNow experience – much betterI had a really frustrating experience with ShareNow / Free2Move. I parked in a location that the app showed as a valid Drop-Off Zone. No warnings, no errors. Five hours later, they charged me €100, saying it was a time-restricted parking area — something that was not shown in the app at all. I live nearby and would’ve happily moved the car if they had just informed me. Instead, they quietly sent someone and charged me. It felt super unfair.After that, I decided to try MILES for the return trip. Honestly, it was way less stressful. Pricing is based on distance (not time), and the app was clear and simple. No surprises. I even got to drive an Audi for the first time, which was a nice bonus. The whole trip cost me less than half of what ShareNow charged — and with zero issues.MILES isn’t perfect, but compared to my experience with ShareNow, it was way smoother and felt more trustworthy.

Charged me 100 euros for incorrectly parking at the airport

They charged me 100 euros for parking in the wrong parking slot at the Munich airport.The problem is, I followed the signs in the airport to park until there were no more indications on where exactly to park. I then tried to contact their Chat Bot in the app, which wasn't working (I also have a screenshot to prove it). So, as I had to catch a flight, I just parked on the first free spot I found inside the "rental car" space in the Munich airport (and around me there were other Miles car parked FYI).I then contacted their support after they charged my PayPal and guess what? No refund, not even the possibility to dispute the charge.Great service and great user experience, really.
