UNTIL NOW A RELIABLE COMPANY TO BUY FROM

I have been buying from Miscota for a long time now,around 10 years,with no issues.I only buy one product,FROLICS dog food,as it is 3 times more expensive to buy from the UK.Usually it has only taken a week to arrive.But this time there have been problems.Firstly I added 2 x 1.5kg bags to the basket,I went to basket and selected a payment method I was then given only one option "continue shopping".On most web sites you can go to basket and edit or view then go back to shopping add more items,go to checkout you see what you are going to order the cost etc and then you have to click "Pay Now" ,"Confirm payment" or similar.But now on Miscota by just selecting the payment method that puts through the order.NO where does it say that by selecting a payment method you are making payment.So after I had selected the payment method 1st time,went to continue shopping and went back to the basket,selected the payment method again expecting to see an order summary I found the order had been placed again.Instead of getting 2 bags with £8 postage(which incidentally is £3 more than last year) I had unknowingly placed 2 orders for 2 bags with £8 postage each So watch out - you don't get the chance to view or edit your basket once you select a payment method you have paid.Second issue - in the past my orders have been sent out same or next day and are delivered from Spain in less than a week.This time 2 days for order to be sent out.1 day to go from Spain to The Netherlands where my orders have not moved for 5 days.Holland is one of the countries which is punishing the UK for leaving the European Union by holding back mail for no reason.If your parcels are with DHL,UPS or others then you are fine but in this case the UK carrier for my Miscota orders is Royal Mail,in previous years it has been Hermes.That means in Europe the orders are with the Dutch partner of Royal Mail who are delaying UK mail on purpose no matter what service has been used.Trouble is that from Miscota the dog food I buy is £5 per bag in the UK it is £15+ before postage.I only use FROLICS as treats so bags last a long time which gives me plenty of time to try and find somewhere else if Miscota are going to send via The Netherlands on a regular basis.

Wish I could give minus star

Wish I could give minus star Ordered food for my rabbit and it has never been received after nearly 2 months Requested refund and have been fobbed off ever since seems they don,t care will now try to pursue via my bank and will never use this company again suggest all avoid.

I ordered 3 Sure Petcare Surefeed…

I ordered 3 Sure Petcare Surefeed Feeder with Microchip. I paid a total of 584.84$ including shipping, yoga guarantee and discount. I received the legitimate products within 2 weeks. I'm giving 5 stars because when I found out the product was shipping from Spain, I googled the company and hellopeter.com said it was a scam and my stomach turned but then I saw Trustpilot.com and people were saying it was a legit company. I had no idea they were in Spain!!! I thought they were in Canada and they say usually ships "in a few days" so not exactly but it was ordered, shipped and delivered in 2 weeks minus 1 day and the product is legit. I am so happy! I'm in Montréal, Québec, Canada. The instructions booklet and on the box are in multiple languages, French, English, Spanish, etc. Definitely recommend this company. No issues !!

Fraudulent discounts

Fraudulent discounts: they state that discounts that they offer though codes apply on the "net" price.This means the price without tax. VAT is always by definition a percentage of the net price. States for example 10%, but in reality gives 7% discount. Do the math! So they misrepresent any discounts (always to your disadvantage) and fraudulently charge too much VAT. When you ask support, they state that they'll refund anything you overpaid but you have to buy first. When you do, its too late, they refuse your claim based on the fact that they are unable to. This site willfully scams people.In addition, many suprise costs, bad support, and takes ages to arrive. Check out medpets.de or maxizoo instead. Ordered some food for my dogs

Ordered some food for my dogs. Got a message about low stock before my order was sent out. Still haven't refunded for the missing package of food, and they keep sending the same auto answer when contacting them. I ordered at Miscota many times, but this will be the last. They literally steal from you, even though you paied extra for their "customer service".

Scammmmmmmmm!!

I wouldn't even give them one star but I had to. Be aware! This company is in Eastern Europe you will never get your products.. it's been almost 2 months and it hasn't gone anywhere total rip off!Scammmmmmmmm!!

Miscota/Petness are to be avoided

I'm not going to write a book here but their business practices and customer service is more than provocative and has the company walking even further into some legal intevestigations. I highly recommend to avoid miscota.com and the domain petness.com The products sold on both sites can always be purchased elsewhere. Don't fall for fake promotions and do your research and math. High quality brand name products should be avoided at all cost from miscota and petness. Do yourself and your pets/animals the favor and shop with care. Your animal will thank you.

Dry food took 3 months and expires week after delivery

Honestly if I could give zero star I would. Do not waste your time buying food from here if you are based out of North America. They are located in Spain so the shipping time is horrendous, their customer service is terrible and the products are stale. We ordered cat food, with an expected delivery of 2 weeks. It TOOK 3 MONTHS and when the food arrived this week we looked at the expiry and it EXPIRES NEXT WEEK. We tried contacting customer service several times and they made us fill out form after form but refused to help in any way. We ended up having to use MasterCard to issue the refund.

THEY cancelled order and KEPT money

They cancelled my order, and the only way I found this put was by waiting a long time and realizing they never started the order process. It was only until I emailed them asking why my products were not shipped, that they told me they cancelled it INSTANTLY. So a week goes by, they keep your money the ENTIRE time, and they hope you forget about it. This is a legitimate scam, and needs to be reported as such.

Inconsistent supply and price hiking.

I buy Vetgastril on a regular basis for my dog. It helps to line her stomach for the medication she has. The price has suddenly jumped to more than £4 higher, and now it arrives without the syringe needed for administering the medication. Very annoyed, but unfortunately cannot find another supplier for this product.
