Mova London is nothing short of deceptive. Their branding is deliberately misleading, designed to make you believe you’re dealing with a UK-based company offering simple, hassle-free returns. In reality, it’s the opposite. The item I received looked nothing like what was advertised on their website. When I requested a refund, I was informed that I’d have to ship the item back to a warehouse in China and cover a “customs fee” that’s nearly the full cost of the dress itself. That’s not customer service, it’s a scam dressed up as a business.I learnt the hard way, and I strongly regret not reading the reviews first. Mova London is a disgrace of a store, and I would advise anyone thinking of buying from them to stay far away.
If I could give this company 0 stars I would, trying to get an address to return items which are of an inferior quality and certainly not as described, is like pulling teeth! I am having to go through my card company as they refuse to give me address to send them back
Do not and I’ll say it again DO NOT buy from this company. They did email me back but absolutely a rip off. You might as well get your £40 or whatever and rip it up because you’ll never get it back. It costs more than your item to send it back. I thought it was from London. Sticking to M&S and next from now on.
Unfortunately I didn't read the reviews before I bought some trainers, and yes I fell for it being a .co.uk website & thought I was actually buying from the UK. But yes, it's one of those Chinese sites that send rubbish and won't return. I ordered a size 9 pair of trainers, but in reality they're probably a size 5 or 6 (wish I could upload a photo to show you) They cost me £34.99 and I've been told it will cost £40 to return them!!!I've been having a email conversation with a very polite person, but the most they will refund it 15%!!!! Or 130% store credit! Even if I wanted to, how could I order anything else? Their sizes are horrendously incorrect and you can't return anything that doesn't fit. Wish these companies weren't allowed to pretend to be in British!!
Advertised a dress as Zara, dress arrived weeks later, cost £55. Dress had no labels whatsoever, and poorly made in China. Asked for a refund, company said I will need to send it to China at £40+ for postage, despite return address and company being in UK. Company are refusing a refund and trying to give me discount to buy again with them. Awful customer service.
