I discovered a selection of high-quality door hardware that was currently in stock on this website. Upon placing my order, I promptly received a billing and a receipt for the same.A week later, despite the absence of any shipping information, I contacted MyKnobs.com and was informed that the shipment would not be delivered for a period of six to eight weeks. They further stated that the cancellation would be effective on Monday, as I was unable to wait for such an extended timeframe.Upon re-contacting the company, they maintained that the door hardware was still in stock, despite the website indicating a shipping time of six to eight weeks. The representative informed me that the shipment had already been dispatched. However, this was a falsehood, as I did not have a tracking number at the time. I once again requested that the order be canceled.Later that day, I received a return authorization with a validity period of only fourteen days. This is puzzling, given that I do not possess any product or tracking number.Subsequently, I received a tracking number generated by MyKnobs.com, but it was merely a label. The items had not been received by UPS.Buyer be ware of this site
The company incorrectly filled my order and refused to correct their mistake. I ordered a right handed door handle and was sent a left handed one. I contacted the company via chat and uploaded pictures to show that it was the wrong handle. They then had me upload pictures of the door, clearly showing the current (exact same door handle) handle as right handed. Instead of simply offering to send me the correct part, they told me that the door should have a left handed door handle based on the hinges. I asked how they knew that & the agent said they figured it out from the picture during the chat. I told the agent I wanted a right handed handle and that's what I ordered so they were still in the wrong. Instead, she told me I was wrong & they wouldn't correct my order. I will never order from this company again and not recommend them to anyone else.
Despite proudly proclaiming no restocking fees on their website - MyKnobs charges more restocking fees than any of their competitors. They seem keen on charging them as another source of income on a majority of their items hurting small time contractors. Buyer beware their return policy and customer service is inflexible. I would not gamble with them on a large order. Note myknobs response does not contest that their site states no restocking fees then charging them with hidden conditions.
MyKnobs.com is the absolute BEST place to order knobs and hardware. They are fast, efficient, and have anything you want in any finish! Such a huge selection. It's so nice to find a decent and honest company with quality products, great prices and great cstomer service. Truly excellent.
I was reordering knobs I had used in another bathroom -sp process was quick. I couldn’t decide if I wanted polished nickel or gold so got both. We are still waiting on Reno to begin so not sure yet which I’ll choose. Hopefully, can exchange one order. Also adding another vanity so will need more pulls. Hopefully, you will still have plenty in stock. Thanks
Horrible return policy and then they put you off in hopes that you give up. I will have to take them to small claims court to get my money back, which I will do and add on court fees and interest. They sent through a refund long enough to screen shot it to claim they did it and then cancelled it so it never finished processing. I believe they violate consumer deceptive practices laws in this state. They received the product back as requested with a tracking number and now have their product and also my money.
I searched the MyKnobs website for a specific type of door knob. I ordered what I thought was the correct item, but somehow managed to receive the wrong type of knob. Assuming it was my error, I called customer service. I was told I’d be charged a re-stocking fee for the return of the item, which I never even removed from the box. This was okay even though the fee was a whopping 25% of the price of the item! I have never encountered such a steep fee. The representative offered to reduce it to 12.5% if I placed another order for the correct door knob, which I did. Then, I was astounded to learn that I would have to personally pay for mailing the item back. There was no flexibility here whatsoever. I have never encountered such a rigid policy with any other online purchase. The vendor always provides a shipping label and I only need to drop off the package at a local UPS or FedEx office. The MyKnobs rep was quite rude about this and said there was no way around the policy. I could take my business elsewhere if I didn’t like it. Contrast this with another vendor who is bending over backward to remedy a minor issue with a lamp we received. This vendor has earned our undying gratitude, future business, and an excellent review. I will not be ordering anything from MyKnobs again.
