What a boat load of knobs you’ll find here ay Myknons.com, I found them by accident and I’m thrilled I did. I was looking for wrought iron knobs to fit in my log cabin and I certainly found what I was looking for and at a great sale price to boot! The shipment I thought for ground service was fairly fast and I really wasn’t in any hurry to do my replacement but, was thrilled they arrived eariler than I thought. They certainly look awesome and I’m delighted with my purchase. Knowing they have such a wide selection if the need arises I’m sure I’ll check them out again plus recommend them to friends. I ordered 27 door pulls on 9/23/23 for a cost of over $400, and on 9/26/23 I received an email with an updated order status that gave an estimated shipping date of 11/16/23, nearly 60 days after theorder. I called My Knobs and explained that my contractor was getting ready to install them they told me that if I was able to find something else to meet my needs and timeline with someone else, I could cancel my My Knobs order before it was shipped with no problem. On 10/21/23, I found the knobs I wanted in stock with another vendor, and I checked my My Knobs order which still showed a ship date of 11/16. So I called My KnobsCustomer service (it was a Saturday) and informed them I wanted to cancel the order. The rep told me no problem, they would process the cancellation on Monday, 10/23. On early Tuesday morning, 10/24, I received an email stating the order had shipped!!! I immediately called My Knobs customer service and explained the situation, and was told that because the “warehouse” wasn’t open on Saturdays, the order got shipped before the cancellation went through. But she kindly told me she could help me return them, but then I was informed that I would have to pay return shipping and a restocking fee of 20% in order to return them. So, I have to pay a fee because of their mistake?!? This is a really poor way to do business. I would never recommend this company to anyone.
Ordered 46 large and 26 matching small handles from this company. Because of cabinet delays, we could not install them until nearly 3 months after receipt. Found out that because of door designs, we really needed 17 large, 63 small, and 2 extra large handles. Called the company to work out an exchange in factory sealed packages and they refused because it was over 30 days. Their site shows thousands of the handles in stock ready to ship. This cannot be an unusual situation. But to refuse to accept back factory sealed product in exchange for current merchandise seems like sticking your head in the sand. Extremely poor customer service compared to any other vendor I have dealt with.
This is the worst experience I’ve had. Ordered Sure loc knobs for a new home. The company shipped and billed me for a set I didn’t order. One of the lockets is defective. They keep sending me parts that don’t work, refusing to replace the entire unit. I’ve called 3 times most recently was on hold for over 30 minutes and was disconnected. Called back and got a recording that they were closedAlso my trim man charged $200 extra because the lock sets were cheap (not inexpensive!) and hard to install. . DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS BOGUS COMPANY!!
MyKnobs is a drop shipper, something I discovered after placing my order. While being a drop shipper is acceptable, a company must take responsibility for the products they sell, especially if their supplier fails to fulfill the order correctly.I ordered a $364 Emtek handleset with a "Right Handle" configuration. Instead, they sent me a "Left Handle" configuration. This is problematic because I have double doors, and the "Left Handle" configuration prevents the other door from opening.Despite clear evidence that I received the incorrect handle, MyKnobs only offered a return if I covered the shipping costs and paid a 25% restocking fee. They placed the blame on Emtek, refusing to assist further.To rectify their error, I'd have to pay over $100. Regardless of whether Emtek is at fault, I made my purchase with MyKnobs, and they should uphold their responsibility to their customers.
Save yourself a headache. Ordered door knobs from here in July. For weeks the status said "sent to warehouse". I finally called and they said oh these are back ordered until September 19th. I called a week after the 19th and had to call 3 more times. They kept saying they were waiting for the manufacturer to give them an update. I finally said just cancel the order and refund me. It was only then they said, oh they're due mid-October. I asked for the refund anyway and they said they would submit it but I'd have to wait to hear if the manufacturer would authorize it! Now I have called to follow up and they said they are still waiting but I should receive an email from them when it's complete. This company has never sent me an email, never returned my calls. I have to continually call them for what little information they can give me. They are just a middle man and it will be a nightmare to get your money back. I will now dispute the charge with my credit card company.
