Well done Nikon UK!

The service from Nikon UK exceeded all my expectations. I've had my D750 for 9 years now, so it's not a recent purchase. However, the service I received from Nikon UK made me feel like a very valued customer. Knowing that the support is there for years to come makes me more likely to invest in future Nikon equipment. Well done Nikon UK!

Nikon customer service is outstanding

Nikon customer service is outstanding. From the loan equipment while mine is being repaired to the engagement from the repair and NPS team. The cost of the repair was reasonable and the guarantee given. What sets Nikon apart is going the extra mile and they always, with no exception, go over and above in their customer service. It's on another level. If you were considering two camera companies, you would not find another that would give you the customer service experience that Nikon does. Thank you.

Had my camera serviced by Nikon uk and the whole process was really easy they collected and returned the camera to me and kept me informed of the repair process and the price came in exactly as quoted

Repair successful and return expedited

My Nikon P950 bridge camera developed a problem with its motorised zoom. I contacted Nikon and returned it for repair under warranty. The arrangements for its return worked well. I was kept updated with the status of the repair. I was told it had been despatched from the repair shop in the Netherlands but heard nothing further for a while. I telephoned Nikon, the agent went online to check its status while I waited. She advised that it had been at the courier’s despatch centre at the airport for some time and promised to contact them immediately after my call finished. The camera arrived back with me the next day. I am totally satisfied with the repair and the customer service I received.

Impeccable Service.

I broke one of the securing lugs on the flap which covers the twin SD card slots on my Nikon D780 DSLR. I immediately started to search online for a replacement and sent a request to Nikon Parts UK for a price and availability. I also phoned around dealers nationwide. There were plenty available from China on eBay and other places, with prices ranging from £34 upwards but, no way of telling if they were OE or pattern parts. The following day I received a quote to supply the parts from Nikon which came in at £21.94 including springs and P&P. Needless to say, I placed my order. A few days later I received an email notifying me that there was a delay for one of the springs. I emailed back to say I only really needed the cover and nothing else. The following day I received a call from a lady at Nikon who wanted to check that the springs weren't required and that there was no other damage to the camera body before the cover was shipped. That was yesterday and at 11:00am this morning UPS delivered the cover which I fitted within the hour and my camera is fully useable again. It just goes to show that you should check the manufacturer before deciding to purchase parts from other sources. I cannot fault any aspect of Nikon UK's service. Thank you very much indeed.

First class service. Well done Nikon UK.

Couldn't fault my first experience with Nikon UK.My D850 had developed and intermittent fault with the monitor not displaying images or live view. Communication was first class with Fraser keeping me updated during the whole process. Would certainly have no hesitation in using again and can highly recommend for any Nikon users for repairs and servicing. Very professional and efficient.

Poor after-sales support

My Nikon 1 lens was part of a product recall - only issue was that no one told me and I am now told that it is out of the recall period. Left with a paperweight with no attempt by Nikon to resolve the issue despite them knowingly selling the product with a dodgy lens. Should avoid at all costs.p.s. customer services contacted me and the resolution was for me to buy a spare lens they had in stock but that wouldn't come with a warranty. You couldn't make it up!

Nikon made the whole journey for…

Nikon made the whole journey for returning my camera, getting it analysed and sending it back so easy. It was a real breath of fresh air. I received constant updates, and was surprised and delighted by the fact that the work came in way under the quote that was originally suggested it might cost. Sending the camera back free of charge was a nice touch and I will never go anywhere else to buy camera equipment from now on. Excellent customer service on every level.
