New treadmill arrived missing the handrails. I've attempted to contact NordicTrack via email, phone and chat and have not been in contact with a human yet! No response to the 6 emails, no response with an agent when trying to use the chat feature and the phone automated agent just re-directs you to the website. Worst customer service experience and still don't have a solution to the missing parts!
DO NOT BUY A NORDITRACK! I purchased a brand new Elite 32 Treadmill. It cost about $6,000. I paid for delivery and set up. Once assembled the tread was not working and I was directed to call Norditrack. The delivery company is a 3rd party that appears to have little to no communication with Norditrack.I have had the treadmill for over a week and have spent hours on the phone, sent emails, and have gotten nowhere. Initially, during troubleshooting they asked me to take apart the motor cover and try and work through the problems. I explained I had shoulder surgery and they asked me to get a friend or neighbor to come to the house so they could troubleshoot. They refused to send a technician until I escalated and finally received a referral to a technician.Well, I thought I received a referral. I was told a technician would call me and that never happened. If you try calling customer service plan on being on hold for at least an hour. My shortest hold time was 52 minutes my longest hold time was 98 minutes. They have a feature when you call, where you can receive a call back versus being on hold. I tried this feature two times and both times when I received the callback no one answered and ultimately I was disconnected. I have never experienced such horrible customer service in my life. I have a brand new treadmill that doesn’t work and I can’t even get anybody on the phone to help me. The only people that answer the phone is their sales department. I called the sales department and once I explain, they quickly transfer me to the endless abyss of being on hold. Ultimately, I will pay the restocking fee, but I am returning this equipment, and will never buy another piece of equipment from Norditrack. Definitely buy a Peloton!
Been over 2 months trying to get a return call on our service request. And this isn’t the first time. Can’t even use our elliptical until they walk us through a software update. Again, this is not the first time. I have over 10k in their equipment and still Zero Customer Service!
I purchased a Nordictrack Commercial 14.9 Elliptical (with 4-year warranty).I paid for installation and the installers plugged the elliptical into my surge protector behind my entertainment center.My screen stopped working a couple days prior to my scheduled annual service appointment.The day the service guy showed up, I showed him the screen was blank, but was powered on. He messed with the screen tosee if he could get it to work.We then powered it off and I unplugged it from my surge protector (behind my entertainment center, where the originalinstallers plugged it in). I then plugged it directly into the wall outlet next to my elliptical so the service guy could push thepin in to reset the screen, and I could plug it in away from him. This didn't work to get the screen to reset. He calledNordictrack support and advised that I needed a new screen and that I had a warranty.He took some pictures, and I thought nothing of us still having the elliptical plugged directly into the wall outlet. (Not whereit's normally plugged in.)He then got contacted by Nordictrack and they said I have to pay for the screen ($600) because it's not a manufacturer'sdefect since the picture shows it plugged into the wall. I reminded him that I move it when he was trying to do the reset. Hethen asked me to contact Nordictrack and explain the confusion to them and to have them take a picture of where I actuallyplug it in.After many hours on hold and promised callbacks, I finally spoke with them. Downloaded their app so they could see where Iplug it into my surge protector. They basically made me feel like a liar and kept saying it's not a manufacturer's defect andasked me to pay $600 (half the cost of the elliptical) for a new screen. I then asked the "supervisor" to escalate my call to amanager.She said there's no manager to talk to at Nordictrack. I asked numerous times as to what the escalation process is for Nordictrack, she said there isn't one. After going back and forth, she hung up on me.Unacceptable!BE ADVISED: Nordictrack has an awesome sales department/team. Once the deal is done and they upsell you into buying awarranty, they'll basically ignore you and support will be unheard of.
When it works my 1750 track is great. I’ve had it 18 months I’m on my third breakdown. Trying to get any help is like trying to get blood out of a stone. UK customer services never answer the phone. I’m on hold as I write this and have been for 47 minutes. I was on hold last night for 1 hour 20 minutes. I did speak to someone earlier who said they would call me back. They did not but did send an email stating in essence tough it’s in your uninsulated garage so too cold and out of warranty. There is a slight issue in so much as my garage is insulated. Do not purchase waste of money.
HORRIBLE. Machine arrived and did not work at all. called to try and get a replacement and they sent a cable 3 weeks to arrive claiming it would fix it....it did not. then i tried to just return the machine and they wont except it due to their 30 day return policy. they knew there was a problem with it 1 day after it arrived. Worst Company Ever. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.
I really wanted to love my Nordictrack 1750 Treadmill. Actually, I did. It ran great the first three times. Then it started shutting off during my workouts. The first time was during a jog, I almost fell and smacked my face on the bar. We did research, called customer service, and did all the recommendations for the issue. What is really frustrating is that they expect us to wait 2-3 months to get someone out to repair/look at the treadmill or spend $500 sending it back. Terrible business! The customer service reps are very kind. I know it’s not their issue, but a company policy issue.
NordicTrack could not be a worse company. BUYER BEWARE!!! Read the reviews. Bought the Elite 32, has not been able to incline the past 3 weeks. Have tried repetivly to contact them by phone and live chat to no avail. Bought the extended warranty, but what good is it if they never answer. Should have gone with our gut instinct and bought Peleton. I have never been more disgusted with a purchase in my life.
