I ordered a bike for my wife

I ordered a bike for my wife. 1 day later after finding out it's not the bike she wanted I requested to cancel the order - they told me it would be $300 to cancel the order! That's like more than half the cost of the bike. I probably would have ordered a different and likely more expensive one from Nordic, but now, I wouldn't order anything from them if they were the only manufacturer of exercise equipment in the world and I was dying of obesity. Screw that! The whole experience was absurd. Peloton here I come.

Customer service is poor

Customer service is poor. My Pro 4.6 has been faulty for 8 months and Nordictrack seem unable to get the parts.I will never buy any other products from them.

I ordered the bike but now

I ordered the bike but now, just two years later, the incline nor the resistance does not work. The bike was delivered to me but now icon or iFIT or NordicTrac is saying that it does not have a repair technician in my area. Why would they sell it to me if that cannot service it? Piece of junk now that is unusable. Horrible product and service. Now I have to figure out how to dispose of this item which weighs a lot.

Buyer beware before buying NordicTrack

My NordicTrack S15i Studio Cycle has been down since June 20. It was finally repaired on July 18. Unfortunately, I didn't jump on the bike to test it before the technician left. Last Friday, I discovered that the bike was making a grinding sound when I pedaled - a new problem that didn't exist before the repair. I had a frustrating over 1 hour call with Paige P. of iFIT Member Services during which I was made to unscrew five screws and send them a video of the sound, which entailed compressing the original file and uploading it to Google Drive. After all of that, Paige wanted me to remove the pedals and completely remove the chamber so that they could further "troubleshoot" the problem. After I pushed back on this totally unreasonable request, she transferred me to UTS, who were a lot more reasonable and have ordered replacement parts and scheduled a technician visit in the next 7-14 business days. Having said that, my bike has been down for over a month and will probably be down for another month or so. Potential buyers who are thinking of putting down several thousand dollars for NordicTrack exercise equipment should be aware that the company doesn't appear to stand behind their products. In fact, once they sell the product and collect the payment, they are nowhere to be seen! Customers will be dealing with either iFIT or UTS and if anything goes wrong, their equipment could be down for a long period of time.

Our S22i studio bike is just two years…

Our S22i studio bike is just two years old. We started having a grinding noise in the pedals and then we noticed rust on the lower front legs. Upon further investigation (raising the incline) it is VERY clear to see that the upper leg is rubbing on the lower leg, so much so, that is is stripping the protective coating off the steel metal frame. This obviously should NOT happen. UTS (we purchased the extended warranty) voided our coverage due to rust not being covered. They blamed us for not maintaining the equipment and having it in an unsuitable environment. It is in our A/C and heated family room and the three other NordicTrack fitness equipment show NO signs of rust. Neither does the bike anywhere else. This clearly is a manufacturer issue. The front lower and upper legs should not be grinding - the friction is causing the issue. We always wipe down our equipment after each use. Unless UTS responds in our favor, we will be proceeding to Small Claims Court.

I purchased a NordicTrack treadmill

I purchased a NordicTrack treadmill, Commercial 2450, after the company contacted me to advise that my FreeStride elliptical was too old for them to continue to support. They gave me a deal on a new treadmill that included "white glove" delivery (assembly at location of choice within the home) and removal of the elliptical. I paid them for everything on July 19. The treadmill was delivered on July 28. The delivery company knew nothing about the assembly or haul-away. They simply delivered the product and left. I had to call and harass the company for an assembly date. The assembly team came on August 1st. This team consisted of two guys who spoke no English. They were also incapable of carrying the treadmill to the location I needed without my assistance. They put the treadmill together and had to be reminded to take all the trash before they left. The assembly team left without checking the treadmill, as the treadmill was not receiving power to the unit. I had to harass the company for a technician to fix the treadmill and again request the haul-away service. The technician came on August 17th and found the assembly team had crushed a wire during assembly. The haul-away was scheduled for the next day and I instructed the person who called that the elliptical weighs 320 pounds. I asserted that they need multiple people to move this elliptical and I was reassured they would send a capable team. It was the same two assembly guys. My son and I had to help them to remove this item as they were incapable of doing themselves. Initially I tried to get assistance from the sales representative, Jordan Hill, who was over-the-top helpful when I was completing the purchase. He quickly washed his hands of me after the purchase and was no help when these problems started to arise. I love IFit and have three NordicTrack machines. However, I am extremely disappointed in this company and their flim-flam sales tactics. If you purchase a machine from NordicTrack. Just have them deliver it and put that machine together yourself or find your on technician.

Nordic Track Commercial 9.o

Purchased a Nordic Track Commercial 9.9 elliptical a year ago and it has had software problems and now both bolts on the handle snapped off first time trying to move elliptical. Contacted customer service on software, they emailed saying there were behind on issues and would get back to me. Never heard back, doubt they will stand behind the defective bolts, elliptical useless now since it rocks back and forth since handle bolts broken

Buyer Beware

Buyer Beware. Do not spend your money with Nordic Track. I owned my s22i cycle for 2 years and maintained my iFIT membership, but my bike has been sitting useless since February because their software update fried my bike and that of countless others. I have gone through all of the appropriate directions from this company to remedy this, and still, even though I have an extended warranty, my bike sits useless. It took 2 months for a technician to come to my home in April, simply to tell me that the new parts sent to me from Nordic Track to fix the problem are useless and I needed a new screen. I was instructed to call for a service appt when I received an email that the screen was mailed. I never got that email, but the new screen arrived in early May. I have called the service dept assigned to me weekly since then and have had no response. On 6/29/23, Jennifer told me she was sending a message to service to contact me and schedule. They did not. Today I was informed by Sonja that my work order had closed and that’s why I had not been called. Why I asked, no answer, but she was reopening it and sending me to a new company. When I asked to speak to a supervisor about all of this, she informed me that they refused, and she was sending me a link to direct my complaints to management. She did not. She sent a link to cancel service or transfer my service to another party. How convenient! I have been told by 2 persons to just connect the new screen myself, because it’s only 4 screws. I refuse. I did not break this machine and I’m not going to be responsible for it not working again. If I could give zero stars to Nordic Track/ IFIT/ and their extended warranty services I would, because of the horrible customer service I have received after their mistake broke my bike. FYI, this bike is useless if the screen does not work. My bike will pedal at 1 speed but incline and resistance are useless, along with the fan. Their software update broke this bike and I am paying for it. The iFIT program has also over charged me 2 years in a row for a family membership instead of the single membership. After seeing it withdrawn from my bank card and contacting them, they have refunded me both times. This has been so frustrating and disappointing for what I thought was a reliable company. Never again will I purchase Nordic Track equipment.

Bad quality, bad after sale service

My story is the same like many people said here.I bought Nordic Track Eliptical 9.9 in march. Machine came with manufacturing defect. I coulnd't assembly this crosstrainer because rolling arm bush was broken. Uk service made order for part- 5 weeks waiting then was fixed. After 1 month crazy, bad noise started comming from inside.I sent request for service end of May- Uk service made order for incline motor. Today, 06 of July still waiting for any update. Almost brand new machine- i can't imagine what will be next. Waiting time for service is crazy. I used to before Reebok crosstrainer for 9 years with no single issue.Totally dissapointed.
