Only giving them one star cause I can't give them zero. DO NOT purchase NordicTrack ANYTHING. Have a recumbent bike purchased almost a year ago that STILL does not work. Resistance is messed up. I've spent hours and hours on phone calls, service calls, chat messages, emails, and no resolution. Now, the damn bike won't even power up! After 30 days your "support" goes to a third party. Suggest Life Fitness. Better product. Better service and support. I've had my bike for almost 10 years now with no issues.
"Do not buy anything from this company". Those words came from multiple treadmill repair guys who will not even touch my machine saying it is garbage and not fixable. I purchased a new Commercial 2150 treadmill. Light use in a home and problems from the beginning. Incline always lost sync. Distance would stay at zero requiring a restart and then finally the ifit blue screen rendering the whole treadmill useless. It originally was sporadic requiring a restart and then fatal and just stays on the screen frozen. I have read all of the forums and seen the videos. Nothing fixes it.Customer support is just a waste of time asking the same questions without anyone knowing how to resolve the problem, but you have to go through the game and answer the questions each time. They said they would send me a console reprogramming drive and never did. A software glitch on a less than $100 tablet has turned my $2K treadmill into garbage. They could, if they wanted to, have a fix for this that doesn't require the purchase of a $1000 replacement console which is now no longer manufactured and unavailable.
I ordered a Nordic Track treadmill through John Lewis because 'Which' has them as the higest rated for quality. My treadmill arrived with a fault - one of the plastic inserts on the consol that the screw which would attach it to the uprights is broken off and part of the consol casing is warped. I have now looked at all the other TrustPilot reviews about Nordic Track product problems and the customer service being so bad and I am greatly concerned I will not get my money back of over £1220. How can I trust what 'Which' is saying and / or Trust Pilot? Do they deserve 76% customer satisfaction on Which or 1.5 stars on Trust Pilot?Update 15 Feb 2023. I am still waiting three weeks later for John Lewis to be able to get hold of Nordic Track who do no answer their phones and have lied about sending me an email (yes of course I have checked junk mail!). No arrangement for picking up this huge faulty and expenisve item and no refund. Do not buy anything from Nordic Track.
Buyer Beware !!! Stay away from nordictrack/iFIT Poor customer service. My expensive commercial grade bike broke after 100 rides. We had purchased an extended warranty. But don’t waste your money it is a scam- hold times for customer service are extremely long you have to do trouble shooting on the phone with the agent. Then they transfer you back into the que for the next agent it’s been 3 weeks now nothing has been resolved. Stay away from all nordictrack products. Poor quality !!! Poor customer service. They do not stand behind their product. I wish I would have read all the negative reviews before I purchased from them all they care about is making sales.
Purchased an elliptical trainer model E9.5i approximately a year and a half. I am trying to obtain service from Nordic track or Ifit, pure rubbish, getting into voicemail hell then hang up and they will not answer Emails. would never have bought this product had I known this!!!Fully understand things do go wrong and break etc. Why they will not service their product is good question
Do not buy a product from NordicTrack. By far, the worst company I have every dealt with. If you are lucky enough to get a product that has no problems you might be fine. But if you have problems and need to deal with them, you WILL regret it. They will be extremely unhelpful and expect to spend many hours on hold just trying to talk to somebody. Terrible company.
I want to start off by typing, it’s impossible to leave a review on their website and they’ve hidden their reviews on Facebook, so you can’t leave a review there as well. Go figure.I purchased the EB NORDICTRACK COMMERCIAL VR21 bike for around $1,300 as a gift for my parents in December 2020. I also purchased the 4 year warranty. The bike’s resistance stopped working 7 days after purchase. NordicTrack mailed parts to their house and emailed instructions on how to fix the bike ourselves. After calling and complaining that we could not fix the bike ourselves they finally decided to give in and send out a technician. The technician fixed the bike. We mentioned to him when we tried fixing the bike, the bike looked like a used bike. He agreed. We mentioned this to NordicTrack but they claim it’s a new bike. Several months went by and the bike’s resistance stopped working again. Again, they sent parts saying we needed to fix it ourselves. We did this time. Here we are in 2023, still under warranty and the tension stopped working again. They told us we didn’t have a warranty. I have an email/receipt showing’s that I paid for a 4-year warranty. I’ll try to fight this now. Why not send a new bike!? Why does this bike keep having the same issue? Save yourself the time and purchase from another brand. We will NEVER purchase anything from NordicTrack again.
I have been happy with my machine until the incline system decided it wasn't working anymore. The incline on my treadmill is stuck at 15% and there's nothing I can do to make it come back to 0% even though the screen shows that the incline is at 0%. I need a replacement part (control board $$$$) and there's no way I can talk to Nordictrack's customer service (or IFIT, which are two companies that work together). Been waiting for hours on the phone and on their online chat, filled in service requests and no one got back to me. I did not think a big company like this could give their customer a bad experience like I have. My treadmill is three months old and already broken. Tried to talk to someone on facebook (Nordictrack) and they told me they couldn't help me since I was talking with someone in the US. I asked them to transfer me to someone in Canada, seems like it wasn't possible ! AWFUL service and cheap machine (3 months old). I recommend you make your researches and buy from another company. Especially for those in Canada.
I wish I read these reviews before I purchased my treadmill. It arrived last week and I paid for an installer. Once installed the belt would not move so I called customer service that was supposed to be open and they were closed. I called today and was on hold for a while so I then left a voicemail. My call was returned but they would not help me because I was not home in front of the machine. I was expected to remove the hood and troubleshoot over the phone. The woman said she would call back in half an hour once I got home and never did so I called back and was on hold for 45 minutes. I finally hung up and used the online chat support. I was number 13 and waited 1 hour and 20 minutes for an agent. She asked a lot of questions using terms I had no idea about since I am not an expert at the parts of a treadmill as she expected I should be. She finally said she is sending me a part that I have to replace with instructions and videos they will send me because "techs are not covered to install this". Absolutely ridiculous.
