I damaged a fitting on pulling a wire out of the frame which had absolutely no slack. Th result is that a £1,000 product does not work. Clicking the link to the help centre shown on the invoice reveals that it is no longer operative and there is no other way to get help. After the junk took up space for two months, I borrowed an industrial saw from a neighbour, cut the bike to pieces and took it to my local authority tip. A disgraceful company. Just wish I had read the reviews before throwing away my money.
What an atrocious company with horrific customer service. Avoid NordicTrack like the plague! We purchased a brand new treadmill which arrived damaged. Instead of sending a replacement treadmill, they're insisting that we wait months for a technician to come to our address to repair. In all of my years of purchasing products and services, NordicTrack has the least satisfactory customer service experience you could ever expect when purchasing a product of this price-point. Whatever you do, do NOT waste your valuable earnings or time on NordicTrack. There are far too many other great companies out there.
Would give negative five stars if I could. Bought a treadmill and bike during the pandemic. Both arrived broken. Took months to get a tech out. Both machines have been broken far longer than they have been usable. Who wants to sue the living s dog poop out of Nordic trac with me? There are more than enough of us with similar stories to file a class action lawsuit.
This should be a 0 star review. I spent several thousand pounds on a cross trainer it was noisy and poorly functioning from the start. Customer service appears to be via I fit a person who calls themselves Ross responds. Ross and I fit asked me to send a video of the problem. I did and they suggested that I was entitled to a repair but that I may have to pay for the parts. I asked if I could have a refund or a replacement this was initially denied. I explained this was a new Item. They then agreed I could have a replacement or refund. I wanted the item(a functional version) so I asked for a new one as they could not give me any idea of ETA for parts and repair. It was explained i would have to put together a new item and dismantle the old one. I explained I would do neither as I only expected to put the item together once and that as the item was not of 'merchantable quality' they should make good the problem and compensate me for the inconvenience and time lost...This was not accepted and thier operative continues to be evasive.I am serialsing my experiences and coversations with Ross and Ifit in thier online facebook adverts.Dont buy from themPete Gorman
I have the (treadmill i11) machine less than 2 years old. The machine is "out of warranty" and apparently, there is a loose wire that is internal where there is no power going to the console. I purchased the service and maintenance package and the technician temporarily got it to work for me. A week later, had the same issue again. I called up only for them to tell me that it was within 30 days of me purchasing the package so it's a "PRE-EXISTING" condition. Customer service was RUDE, and treated me like the criminal when this machine cost me $2300! it should not be breaking down like this. Ridiculous!! Please don't buy from them! they are AWFUL!!!!!
I got this bike 4 weeks ago and it broke after the 12 day and since that time it has been sitting in my office unused. It takes an age to have your emails answered and even longer to get the bike fixed. I do not know how long it will be before the parts turn up and how long it will be before the engineer turns up after I have informed him the parts have arrived 2-3 months, who knows . I am also disgusted that I did not get a chance to use the 1 months free subscription to i fit and more annoying still is that they deducted £31 from my account today for an app I cannot use due to the bike being broken. The day the bike turned up to my house 4 weeks ago it had a broken bottle, this I reported straight away and still to this day I have not received a replacement. My advice to anyone is do not buy any Norditrack product as the turnaround time from broken product to replacement of fixed is unacceptable
Please if anybody reads this please do not waste your time on a Nordic track. Is true 6 months to a year everything breaks down? There's nobody to help you to repair it or to correct the problem and you get stuck paying the full price of a piece of junk. It did not even make it a year and it quit working. I used it maybe 50 times. They charge you a $160 for somebody. That does not know how to work on them to figure out what is wrong with it and the problem has not gotten fixed. RUN DONT BUY. EVEN IN THE STORES ARE SAYING THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THERE EQUIPMENT.
Wow- I’m really surprised to read all of these reviews and feeling like I really didn’t do enough research before buying from Nordictrack. I’ve had a very similar experience as many of the other reviews here. My treadmill 2400 stopped working 1 year out of warranty so it was only 2 years old! There is power to the machine but the co sole just stopped working and you can’t use it without the console! I had to pay $200 for one of their technicians to come out and tell us what we already knew then we were told we need a new console which is $650 which is backordered. Crazy! A $2500 treadmill should last 10+ years! Don’t buy from Nordictrack- terrible company!
I've never in my life dealt with anything so preposterous as the so-called customer service at Nordictrack. Bought an X22i treadmill, it broke although I hadn't used it heavily. Customer service expects you to do your own repairs even if you purchased an extended warranty! I eventually did get a technician scheduled, but the local technician is non-responsive and seems to be a fake or defunct business that no longer answers the phone. Called Nordictrack back and guy said the previous representative failed to actually contact the service technician, so now I'm waiting after 3 months still for the service technician, who I doubt will ever call. It's literally like you're in some kind of joke Kafka novel dealing with this level of outright fraud. This experience is making me think that perhaps we all are really becoming implicit slaves to the tech oligarch class which is eliminating as many forms of real human contact and avenues for regular people. Stuck behind our screened-in silos, we no longer have any real control over the physical world and lash out in futility at our overlords who laugh at the fact that we fell for it...
Their customer service is outsourced to some company called icon fitness. Icon rarely responds to service requests or warranty issues. They don’t have a working phone number, their chat program on the website doesn’t work, and their reps don’t respond to emails. The NordicTrack treadmills themselves are good but if you have any trouble, expect no service or warranty.
