Review Time
After I ordered I was super excited. Started watching videos and quickly found out the sauna doesn’t get as hot as advertised. So I quickly tried to cancel my order as I want to go a different direction and get a sauna that actually gets as hot as advertised. I emailed to cancel my order before I received any shipping info. I went days without a replay. Then finally my order is shipped days after I asked for it to be cancelled. Then they want me to pay for shipping to ship it back. Shipping to send it back is as much as I paid for the sauna. So I’m stuck with a garbage false advertised sauna that I didn’t even open. I opened the accessories package with the heart rate monitor and it is cheap Chinese trash. Very displease company won’t make it right and take this back. I can’t even sell it on fb marketplace because I’m not the only one that had been scammed. I can find the same sauna for 50 dollars on market place bc it’s trash and a lot of people are selling them in my area for a huge loss. Cheap Chinese false advertised sauna and customer service doesn’t care to help. Do your research better then I did. Don’t waste your time with this company. It’s a scam
The ice bath and sauna are not as described on your website. The chiller is not made well, the connection points are very weak and no matter what I did they leaked. Did I mention that it really does not cool very well at all. You have to load ice in the water to actually make it chill which is what I was trying to get away from doing. I am a pretty handy person and can fix most things. Not this one. I ended up putting it all in a box and setting it aside. Can’t return it and don’t have confidence anything will make it better. The sauna…the actual tent is nice but the steam generator is as cheaply made as the chiller. Very disappointing that you can buy stuff and have companies stand behind it and take it back when it really is poorly made. I should have liked at the return policy before I bought. My fault.
The temperature advertised in the website FAQ says it’s capable of reaching temperatures between 130-150 degrees F at near 100% humidity. Received mine, and at max output with the “pill box” 100% open can only get an internal temp no greater than 104 degrees F at 55% humidity. I’ve even insulated the outlet steamer lines with high temp foam to conserve heat, with no added success. The tent does retain heat and there are no rips or tears. Took temperature shots all around tent/zippers and the tent is not the issue, it’s the steamer. Typical health benefits of a wet steam sauna, from my research, start at around 110-120F with more intense health benefits at around 160-185F. Which would be great if the steamer had the capability to even get that high to produce those temperature/humidity in the tent. You could adjust your temp level to suit the kind of session you want. But this one, at max output, is not much more intense than waking around in Cabo on a hot day. Customer service asked me to send video and images of my concern, which I did. And their responses led me to believe they didn’t even review them. They additionally told me these sub par temperatures I’m experiencing in the tent is “normal” and tried explaining to me how “temperature gradients” work. If at any given location in the tent (top or bottom) does not exceed 104F, their temp claims on their site are not internal tent temperature and are misleading. May reach as advertised inside the steamer/boiler, but definitely not seeing it in the tent. Hopefully nobody else has the same issue, and I’d love to hear if anyone is getting more temp out of theirs. However, I would not recommend this for anyone looking at maximizing health benefits but more for a putting in a mild-moderate (at best) sweat.
Cold plunge came with a tear in the top “insulating ring” . No cover. Broken thermometer. Leaking from the lower ball valve where it meets the body of the tub. Its cheaply made like most anything these days. I probably could have gotten some help if customer service was not super slow and then they want me to send pics one day. Then videos another day. And theres a ZERO chance your getting to speak to a person. I just dont care enough and have more important things to do. Look, its cheap, thats why you get it cheap. Want a good cold plunge, save up.
I ordered the tropic pro bundle as advertised:-tropic pro upgraded sauna + ice plunge tub-tropic pro upgraded steamer-sweat mat-upgraded ice tub pro-folding chair-carrying caseI received a steamer that doesnt turn on at all (I've sent customer service videos), I believe i received the regular sauna (the material is cheap and thin), folding chair is NOT useable unless you are 3 years old, missing ice tub, and ice tub pro is defective. After 3 weeks still no resolution from customer service. The worst part is they do not care.
Once again, I got fooled by a Nurecover product. Last year, I bought the portable steam sauna. When I received it, it didn’t work — the water in the generator wouldn’t boil. I complained about the purchase, and they sent me a new one, nice I appreciate it, which stopped working after two months.I told myself I would never deal with Nurecover again.Fast forward a year later, I see an ad promoting a Sauna Heater that heats the sauna up to 85°C in 5 minutes. Wow, that sounds great — and I’ve always preferred dry saunas over steam. I figured that, with time, they probably perfected technology. So I ordered it, and it cost me $200 just to find out — again — that Nurecover is great at advertising, and that’s about it.I heated up my sauna, and after 20 minutes, it barely reached 66°C. We all know a sauna needs to be between 70°C and 85°C to have any real benefits. In the instruction manual, it clearly states that the temperature range is between 20 and 90. That’s complete nonsense. It’s impossible to go above 68. Even with the button on the controller, when it reaches 70, it drops back down to 20 — as if 70 were the maximum.I’m done. Yet again, I’ve thrown money away for nothingOn top of that, I later read that the Nurecover Sauna Heater releases toxic compounds that are harmful to health. Fantastic.
