Review Time
The worst customer service ever. Would NOT recommend buying from this company. I have two orders and trying to return them. Note: they were delivered any boxes are completely unopened. I took pictures and sent to them for return instructions and can’t get a response after 2 weeks and I email support almost every day. Do not order. Not worth the headache.
I like the sauna very much. But the remote control battery holder broke when I tried to install the battery in the holder. Is it possible to get a new remote? Also I don't know how the temp control works. There is an up and down control but I can't determine what pushing the up and down control causes the temp to go up and down. How many positions are there to get the proper settings?
I ordered sauna on 20 November and still have not received it, the tracking number doesn't seem to to be valid, it's saying its not valid on the company site, I have sent email and messages but no one has bothered to get back to me, I have asked for a refund on my last correspondence, I feel I'm going to have to contact my bank and escalate it on social media, very poor customer service after paying out a lot of money ,I have received 1 email from company but nothing has been resolved, no mention of new order or a refund, very disappointing to be honest
At this point I would suggest all the folks that have been blatantly ripped off by this company, review and report them wherever possible. I would also suggest putting their CEO on blast. I did via LinkedIn. Seems to have a history of running suspect businesses. Message and report. Report them to the BBB and credit card companies. Maybe a class action suit will be the only recourse?
3/5 days delivery forget it !! 14 days later it might have turned up as there’s a parcel outside the door but I’m away until mid January so whether it’s still there who knows. Awful company for communication. Emails either go unanswered or take a week and calls never get returned. Would not recommend this company at all
I rated 3 stars because the steam sauna works well and the cold plunge tub itself is great! Easy to assemble and have worked as advertised so far. I bought the Ultimate Recover package for the chiller option but I’ve encountered several issues with my Nurecover water chiller. The hoses leak which means I can’t let it run full time. I have to put something under the hoses for the water to drip onto and then turn it off so it doesn’t leak all over my garage, the pump reservoir struggles to maintain a consistent flow of water. Additionally, I have to set the water temperature 3-5° lower than my desired temperature to get the chiller to turn on and cool the water properly. On top of that, the ‘red light therapy’ feature in the sauna is extremely disappointing—it relies on 4 AA batteries, which only last for 1-2 sessions. One of the main reasons I chose Nurecover was the advertised red light therapy, but it has fallen far short of expectations. Overall, these issues significantly impact the functionality and reliability of the unit. This would easily get 5 stars if the chiller pump reservoir flowed properly, and if the hoses and connections were better quality and didn’t leak and if red lights weren’t battery operated.
Edit: nurecover reached out via Trustpilot and requested my information to resolve my issues. I provided my contact information within a few hours of their request, 9 days later and I still haven't heard from them. What else is there to say about this company? Their response to this review was all for show, they just want to seem like they care. They can't even provide the bare minimum.I'm not sure where all the good reviews came from, but this company should be avoided. I understand that this is an affordable budget sauna; however, that means nothing if parts are constantly breaking. Delivery time was always around 3-4 weeks, and you'll see why that became annoying.I've owned this product for over a year, and it's been used 2-3 times a week. Let's start with the steamer unit. The unit will develop rust within the first two weeks of use, even if you clean it out and make sure it's dry after every use. The unit also didn't seem to properly maintain temperature no matter what setting you select. After a few more weeks, the steamer refused to generate any steam. It would start and then stop right away, never reaching temperature. I reached out to customer service, and after a lot of back and forth, I finally got a new one three weeks later.I got the new steamer, and it worked for a while. Then, a few weeks later, it again stopped maintaining temperature, but in reverse. I would set it to the number 5 setting, but it would still max out on temperature on some days while staying below temperature on others. I reached out to customer service again and got one of the most insulting reps I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. This guy was condescending at every turn and spoke to me like I was stupid. I explained my issues with the first unit and then explained the issue with my second unit. He was focused on the rust part and stated that it's “common knowledge in the steaming community” that you need to use distilled water in the steamer. He insisted that I should have done my research or checked steamer forums. If you are not part of the steaming community and you're coming into this as someone looking for an alternative health benefit, this is not common knowledge and should be clearly detailed in the instructions. None of the instructions mentioned a thing about distilled water. My whole house has a 5-stage filter (100-micron sediment, 50-micron sediment, 5-micron, coconut carbon filter, 0.35 sub-micron filter) system to keep heavy metals out. My lines are all PEX, and our water heater was changed after the filter system was installed two years ago, so our lines are clean and build-up free. Not a single appliance in our house that boils or heats water has a build-up of any kind, nor do they rust. We don't even need to descale our coffee maker because nothing builds up on it.The rep told me they have an upgraded unit they currently use but that they only warranty the heater once, so he was not inclined to send me another. Again, this guy was only focused on the rust and not the fact that the steamers have both failed in their basic function. The steamer also keeps steaming after turning it off, it will continue to heat unless you unplug it. The plug to the steamer gets uncomfortably hot to the point that the outer sleeve of the cable becomes very soft. A properly gauged cable shouldn't do that, especially after just 15-20 minutes of use. It really doesn't seem like a safe product. Long story short, they refused to warranty the item. The rubber hose that connects to the steamer has expanded to the point where it would fall off during use. You have to exit the steamer and try to reconnect it without getting burned. I set my steamer in a permanent spot, so I have never had the need to remove and re-install the hose. It expanded simply because of use.The chair is complete garbage. I'm 140 lbs, and this thing has completely ripped on the left side and is unusable unless you want to fall through. The chair itself has also rusted in multiple places, even with drying. They also refused to send me a new one.The plastic frame has begun to warp because of the heat, and it's starting to bend inward. The red light therapy LEDs are a joke. It's a glorified red LED strip that runs on batteries. The batteries themselves will last maybe 4 or 5 uses before the lights begin to dim. They also don't include any kind of mounting hardware; I had to zip-tie it on. You think you're getting something premium when you order the deluxe version, but you're not. On top of all that, they didn't send it originally when we ordered it. It took 4+ weeks more for us to get the missing part. Imagine my surprise when I received something you can find at a Dollar Tree.Save your money and get something that's actually quality. I regret giving this company any money, they don't even stand behind their own product.
