Review Time
This is a scam brand. They stole my money. Like other reviews here, I placed an order and payment was deducted immediately. But no shipment for months. In the end, they told me the order was lost in transit and that they would not ship it again and refused to reimburse me. They basically stole over 200 dollars from me. Don’t buy from them. It’s the worst scam. They are criminals and based on other reviews I am reading on this page, they are used to running this type of criminal activity. I have notified the competent authorities so that the relevant measures can be taken to stop this recurrent criminal behaviour.
Not even worth a star. Totally rip-off. Placed an order and payment deducted immediately but no shipment. In the end, your order was lost in customs and refund 40%. Whoever checks this Don’t buy from them. It’s the worst scam. 60 day warranty for such expensive shoes?I recently wore my Oliver Cabell shoes for the first time about a year after the purchase and the stitching came apart on the seam. The scammers that are Oliver Cabell refused to stand by their products and said as it was outside of their warranty period, the best they could do was give me $20 off my next purchase. I do not intend to buy anything again from these conmen and suggest you take your custom elsewhere. They have gone down hill over the last few years and hopefully it won’t be long before they are gone forever. Crap overpriced shoes and crap generic scripts from the very unhelpful robots in customer support!. Update - 03.03.2025Cabell's have fobbed me off and refused to take any responsibility for crappy shoes that fell apart after the 60 day warranty period ended. Now they are trying to bribe me with a replacement pair but only if I remove this review. THAT IS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN - PEOPLE NEED TO KNOW WHAT KIND OF LOW LIFES THEY ARE DEALING WITH AND WHAT THEY ARE SPENDING THEIR HARD-EARNED MONEY ON!I cannot believe how corrupt this is!
Purchased a pair of Jabber Highs. Very disappointed. Leather looks like thin plastic, and sole doesn’t provide any cushion at all. Thought I was buying a premium pair of trainers made in Italy but in reality got a very cheap looking pair of school pumps made in Vietnam. Not worth $20, never mind $200+.
Ordered my trainers. Was then told they were waiting for new stock when i chased 2 months later. Then two months after that i had a message saying they had been delivered, which they hadnt. Apparently the delivery was insured, so i sent relevant information and never received any refund whatsoever
I bought the Black Ghost Low Tops. This is my 4th pair of Oliver Cabell shoes. When they arrived out of the box, I noticed scuffs on both shoes. It looked like they were damaged during shipping. When I contacted customer service a guy named Paul writes back that this is actually intentional and that their "craftsmen" actually do this to make the shoes look "distressed." I could not believe they would do this to such a beautiful pair of shoes. The scuffs do not do anything to the appearance besides making them look damaged. It is a shame that they would actually damage the leather before sending it out. It's a travesty, and now I've invested in acrylic black paint and finisher to try to restore them, but I can't get them perfect. This is the dumbest idea I have seen a shoe company partake in. They literally ruined a $260 pair of gorgeous shoes.
