This is literally the worst service…

This is literally the worst service I've ever had! I wish I'd read some reviews about the costumer service before I spent that much money on a phone! Cause now you have a 1st world level of pricing with a 3rd world level of costumer service. Which is represented well on the reviews. I don't know why am I writing this, cause I know they don't give a **. Otherwise I'd have seen some improvements. I just want everybody to know that what they doing is disgusting and I'll do mY best to prevent people making the same mistake I did. Buy a oneplus phone...

Worst customer service I have ever experienced

I just ordered my third one plus phone, the phones are fantastic but the appalling customer service would stop me buying from this company again. My phone was never delivered by DPD the courier company had a made up name signing for the phone and the photographic proof was missing, so clearly scammed by the courier driver. I contacted one plus support they said they would launch an investigation taking 5 days, then send a new phone. I had no acknowledgement of the investigation so had to call back and one was sent the next day. I had no further contact from them so called back 5 days later, and was then told I had to fill in a form and get a police report or they could not do anything to replace my phone that was never delivered. 5 more days went by and no contact from one plus. I called again and then was told they would now send a replacement that would take 5 more days, so fingers crossed it will arrive. In trying to contact them I was cut off 5 times while talking to their customer service team, not once did they call me back and not once did they contact me to let me know what was happening, I had to constantly chase them. The tone of their service people is also not good, it makes you feel that they really do not care one bit about supporting their customers. What other company that had no proof of delivery would ask their customer to get a police report before they would look into replacing an undelivered phone. Brilliant phones but worst customer service I have ever experienced and looking at the reviews I am not alone. I have been recommending one plus for years, but after this I will be telling people to stay well away. Such a shame

Worst service "Ever"

I just hate this company's service, OMG they kept my phone at the service center for 7 days for just replacing the mic board and then i got a response that the extend warranty which i claimed has been taking time, but the truth is that i have uploaded the original invoice which came with the phone and the support team just claims that the invoice has wrong values in it and never mentions which value was that. Further, the service center POC's never took the responsibility of looking into the case and closing it, on repeated asking and calling to the service center, they kept saying they do not know the reason and extended. I am really really disappointed with the way these guys are working and the lethargic services they provide. Never ever thought a company like One Plus would work in a highly unprofessional manner. Overall, My feeling is that these guys purposely extend the service period if claimed via warranty just to make us not wanting to claim warranty the next time, it has been a tough week for me without my phone as I have my data in it. despite of me highlighting that my phone is important for my work these guys never cared for it. I would never ever suggest "One Plus" to anyone. Very Very Disappointed.These guys are just bluffing us here, it's been 5 days they replied to my review and none of them actually approached me to understand the problem...

Got a charging issue, they didn't help

Got a charging issue, texted OnePlus customer service and they didn't help me in any way, also their replies were very slow. I'm never going to buy a OnePlus device again

DEVICE MISPLACED OR LOST BY UPS & OnePlus

I'm Yashwanth Mula, I live in France and already sent my One Plus 5T device for repair on 26th October 2020, to One Plus CTDI center- Poland via their partner UPS (Pick and drop), I have paid for the repair charges and after they sent the device back to me, with UPS tracking number, which showed I will receive the device by 5th November 2020, but I did not receive it till now, UPS has misplaced my device and I've already had a chat with the OnePlus customer care, UPS customer care and called them, they started an investigation with UPS and mentioned to update me, but I have not received any further update till now! (More than a Month)Such a disappointment and shame on the service they provide and how improperly or nothing they inform their customer, but just mentioned to wait and wait...nothing more clarified and logical in their response, They made me pay for the repair charges, now taking my time and energy as well!

Never ever buy a OnePlus phone

Never ever buy a OnePlus phone. I will not be. They're genuine criminals. I'm actually trying to move forward with legal proceedings on them. I've filed an official report to trading standards and talking to a lawyer at the moment. They hold your phone hostage and refuse to fix it if its broken under warranty unless you pay for other repairs on the phone to be fixed so it can be sent back in 'perfect' condition with is illegal. Shocking company. I hope to have an update on my legal proceedings soon. A vile bunch of racketeering criminals. They're customer service is appalling. Once we had gone back and forth over and over on this issue they then tried to claim I had actually sent it in for a screen repair and then refused to pay for it.... Embarrassing. The warranty issue at hand is that the phone is little over a year old and the software is completely broken. Awful.

Device stoped working after 16 days

Device stoped working after 16 days. Customer service says i have right to return, then on email said i dont have right to return. "Helping" means try to factory reset device every time when you have contact with customer service. This is 6-th thing in 4 years i bought from oneplus and all have problem keeping working longer then few months. I can write soo long post but i dont have enough space and non of them is good or recommendation for buying oneplus products. This is last time i bought oneplus product and i DON'T RECOMMEND anyone buying it

I have owned oneplus for years now.I am fairly happy with the phone, serves me well.However, the oneplus site and their discounts etc is absurd. I haven't ever seen such lousy and scammer looking site ever (and I have been scammed.) Their web page is always missing the "Deal" items, one they're new phones launch, for which I subscribe and click some buttons that say "order your phone now, or make a pre-order so you don't miss out" , well I have been missing out quite a lot it would seem, as somehow the phone I want is always not available.How is it that all other mobile phone probiders, samsung,iphone, even huawei and so on, seem to always have their phones in stock, don't see them doing worse. It's absolutely absurd, trying to market their phones and say "Prices start from 500 Euro , for instance " then you go on the site and see that the first phone you can buy is the max option one 256gb etc and in a color that again is not available, or the most expensive one. The marketing side of it and the consistency they had before is totally gone, they are turning into the larger brands and that was actually their key component for people using them, that they were reliable and were not like the giants, however they are almost there, that's why people buy google pixel and huawei. Not sure who is thinking that this way they will "shuv" their more expensive phones to society , but the person must be an idiot to believe that three sold phones from their most cheapest, will bring less to the company than one from their most expensive one. Someone needs to het their marketing strategy in order and wake up.

Entered OnePlus Black Friday contestant…

Entered OnePlus Black Friday contestant was pleased that I won OnePlus 8 Pro for $699 (no indication of currency). When I claimed the price was redirected to OnePlus website and the same phone is now $1289 Canadian currency. When I complainedOnePlus said there was a mistake and the $699 is U.S. currency yet no indication on their web site. Very disappointed and felt I was misled. Not a way to treat customers.

These software updates render your phone useless

I adore my 6T and the camera is amazing but these software updates internally destroy the phone,I had the 3T previously and after a software update the wifi would connect but then say no internet....so that phone went useless.Bought a 6T, had it for around 2+ years, in great condition. Not a single scratch on the phone and then the latest update happens and the phone starts glitching and crashing. Goes into dreaded brick mode by displaying a crashdump message. I contact customer service and they do the typical have you tried turning it on and off schtick. Well duh.....after different button combos and no result the agent tells me to force shut down, after I force shut down the device wont even turn on to show the crashdump screen.So now they're telling me I have to send in the phone and reboot it for repair and pay upwards of $250 for their malfunctioning software. How can I even clear the data now if my phone wont even turn on. So basically you have to keep buying the latest phone to keep a warranty and tough luck if you have had your phone out of warranty and it crashes due to an awful software update.
