Not only did ontrac dropped the ball in 2017 when Amazon seemed to give them a trial as a shipper, they did the same with my recent target dot com order.Basically 2 days ago OnTrac dropped my relatively expensive Target.com order in the lobby of the apartment where all the mail box slots are as in any apartment building...and deemed it a "mail room" We have no mail room, this is a relatively low end apartment building, in a bad neighborhood--with a security guard. This neighborhood/apt building resembles skid row L.A. on the outside. I am temporarily living in this building now.By the time I was notified and the delivery btw was super late at 8:45 pm, the photo of my important package didn't match with reality as in some low life in my apartment building or someone who sneaked in stole it.OnTrac has no phone number. Their chat system is slow and ineffective. I emailed them. They haven't, to date, replied to me.I've been upset, to put it mildly--i have spent a lot of time, lots of Stress, energy, trying to deal with this. To add salt to my wounds-- the security guard, through no fault of my own but again because this is a low-end, ghetto, apartment building went bezerk on me when I searched the area nearby him in a non-obtrusive way.To anticipate any questions or concerns that the ontrac delivery driver may have been afraid to take the elevator. that's not true Amazon logistics, fedex, ups delivers here at all times of the day and night without issue. The OnTrac delivery driver was just too lazy to bring my item upstairs. How does a standard mail box slot area you find in any apartment building...how does that remotely look like a mail room with empty bins, and employees? It does not!If you can please also contact Target so that they stop using OnTrac. No u.s. shipping company should act like this.OnTrac if you're listening you've been reported to Target Corporate by me. Delivered to a complete wrong address and nothing that I recognize from my neighborhood so I have no clue where it is. I can *maybe* understand if they navigated to the wrong building but the apartment number in their 'delivery' photo isn't even the same number as the provided address. A complete headache. If you're a business looking for a shipping partner, I would steer clear. This has almost tainted my desire for future purchases from the company I bought my items from. I've never experienced something so incompetent; I had to write my first-ever review on this platform.
They tried to deliver my parcel which I bought from Trezor and said they could not deliver it due to security issues.Two days later, they say that they cannot find it and sorry, nothing we can do further - absolute lies and not short of a thief.Worst company ever and full of lies.
Ordered a custom sports jersey from Fanatics. Apparently they used OnTrac to deliver. OnTrac lied about attempting delivery. Marked it online as "Refused/Return to Sender." No way to actually contact them. Nothing on camera, zero delivery attempt. No return tracking number available back to the sender. Scam company. Make sure that when you place an order, the main sender is not using OnTrac to deliver the "last leg" delivery. Editing to say that my horrible experience is in the Indianapolis area. No idea if it's different in other areas.
OnTrac is THE WORST delivery service. I have had multiple dealings with them from different venders. At least FIVE of my orders have been mis-delivered. One vender's order was delivered wrongly FOUR time, each time to a different WRONG address. I am now purchasing the product of one vender from Amazon, at more cost to me, not my preference, but I want the product and it is not locally available. My hope is vendors will wake up to the fact that any cost savings they have with this delivery service is costing them customers .
OnTrac misdelivered a package twice to the same random house on the other side of town. No other delivery service has this issue with our address.Luckily for us, the person who lives at that random house drove the original package to us on their own so we received it. OnTrac owes that person a wage for finishing the job they were hired to do.We have set a preference with the vendor that used OnTrac to NEVER USE THEIR SERVICES AGAIN. Congratulations to OnTrac on enshittifying the process of online ordering. I'm sure their shareholders will be so pleased.
ATROCIOUS COMPANY & HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! Fourth time the tracking has said my delivery is being held for address verification and delivery instructions. I have provided them the information twice through email with a csa and twice via chat on their website. It seems they do not communicate between the corporate office & delivery hubs.
This is one if not THE worst last mile delivery service. Their drivers stealing packages and leaving you out of the item and money. I have 5 cameras at the front of my house and they claim that my package has been delivered, not able to provide the location where the driver left the package at my house. No picture, nothing. They will tell you: "Our delivery records indicate this package was delivered" and you can't do anything about that. This is a classic legal fraud and scamming business allowed by our great government.
I wish I could give zero stars. OnTrac is, without a doubt, the most incompetent and irresponsible shipping company I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with.My experience is sadly the same as countless others: a package of mine was delivered to the completely wrong address. The proof of delivery photo was of a stranger's doorstep, not mine. When I contacted their customer service, I was met with robotic, scripted responses offering no help whatsoever. Their only "solution" was to tell me to wait 2 more days or to contact the original shipper. They take no ownership of their mistakes.This wasn't just any package; it was a birthday gift for my child. Because of their driver's negligence and the company's complete lack of accountability, my son's birthday was ruined. There is no mechanism for recovery, no attempt to rectify the error, and absolutely no customer care.A warning to both shoppers and businesses: If you see that your order is being shipped via OnTrac, BEWARE. You are gambling with your purchase. They have proven themselves to be utterly unreliable. Their business model seems to be based on hoping that someone else will handle their customer service for them.Do not use this company. They do not deliver on their promises in any sense of the word.
