STAY CLEAR read bad reviews not just the positive as these can be faked. This company contacted me and immediately they wanted me to transfer fifteen thousand euros before any work was carried out they promised me that they get so much money back for their clients and were so positive of the outcome, I told them if they're so positive we can work on a 35% success fee that's over around 47K for them, but they outright refused to prefer for me to pay them straight away 15K and then hit and hope. another scam now ringing in my brain, when I told them I don't have that money they tried to get me to take out a massive loan and pay in two payments by credit card, not refundable without even studying my case as promised in their ads to see if I have a chance of getting even a penny back, they then called me, again and again, pressuring to pay them money then in installments pressure selling, different accents someone even seemed to have a Nigerian accent, it felt like another scam, when pressuring me to pay by credit card and I asked them what if this is a scam or you don't do the work, they then said I can get my money back from the credit card company wich is rubbish this started alarm bells ringing.
They create a wallet out of the blue, claim it is my wallet and aske me to put in $5000 worth of BTC in order to recover my funds. When I refuse, they would lower the demand down to $800. The callers claim to be professional, but in reality they are no different than the homeless in San Francisco begging for pennies.
I lost a considerable amount of money with FM Trader in Jan 2017. Since then I've tried to get my money back. I signed up with one company which went bust. Then I signed up 4 years ago with PayBack. I paid $15,000USD back then. Since then they have not recovered one dollar. To top it off, I have not been successful with one strategy that these people have conducted. Eventhough they are nice and friendly, the problem is they have no clue what direction to take. It's all guess work, on the spot ideas without any strategy. Last year I warned them and explained they need to refund my deposit. They refused. A few months on, nothing has happened with my case. I warned them again only this time, the deadline was 26th April. Nothing again. In fact my case manager has gone on holidays. So here it is.DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY.THEY ARE PART OF THE PROBLEM. I'm going to THE ISRAEL EMBASSY IN AUSTRALIA next week to place a formal complaint. Followed by my ATTORNEY GENERAL office. Last of all to contact OUR NUMBER 1 INVESTIGATIVE JOURNALIST whom I'm sure will unravel something. Regardless I think one of these groups will unravel something.Pls if anyone, has received a refund via PayBack, pls contact me directly to show me evidence. If not, all these people listed on here, are part of the scam network. Thankyou PayBack for your diplomatic response. Yes, you have worked with me but there has been no strategy. My new case manager whom I think is my 5th or 6th because people either leave or are replaced, she has thought going back to the Ombudsman is an answer to my problem. It has been made super clear to me that once the top guy rules in favour of the bank. That's it. The case is done. So I can't understand why payback doesn't get it. Also, I requested a phone consultation and they have kindly ignored this request. So once again, they are failing to act professionally with me. Yes, you have scammed me for 5 years. How cruel and inhumane.

My experience with PayBack has been excellent!! From the first phone call, to gathering the necessary information and details. The team at PayBack understand the situation and have take charge quickly to discover who the scammers are.We’re not done yet, the recuperation is still ongoing. But I would recommend them because of their can do attitude. They presented to me their business with confidence. Even though they were more money, I chose them over others because of their positive energy. They believe in their ability to win.
This is a scam. Do NOT fall for their tricks. I mistakingly gave them 10% of my losses and have been trying to cancel their services within my 14 day window. They are deligerent in calling me a 100 times and sending a 100 emails trying to get me to stay with them instead of processing my refund immediately. I will be filing a claim with the BBB.
Update I have now had correspondence from this company. I’ve had a detailed report relating to their investigation which is still ongoing however currently no money back! No full explanation as to why I received no response for so long but for now I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt as I appreciate this is a complicated issue. For that reason I have amended my review. I paid Payback to try to recover money I lost to a scam crypto company. They didn’t recover any money (nearly 5 years ago now). However I keep getting companies contact me saying they are from payback. The latest one actually has the correct payback reference number but when I contact payback on the e mail addresses I have for them they ignore me. I therefore don’t know if they are genuine or not. I actually feel scammed all over again. Very distressing.
I hired Payback after dealing with another company that dropped the ball after they found out where the funds went to. Payback stayed with me the entire way with demand letters and the like. Noah was very persistent, professional and courteous. We are at the point where the platform will decide whether to refund my money or not, but it is Payback that got me to this point. The demand letters they wrote are exceptional with very professional language and strong demands for payment. Unlike the "other" company they didn't leave me hanging and was with me every step of the way. Right now I hope and pray the platform will do the right thing and refund my funds sooner than later. Don't waste your time or money with those "other" companies that have no interest in following up for you. This task is a most difficult one and you need a professional, caring company on your side and that is Payback Ltd
