I’ll be completely honest, I bought the cooling mat bundle very impulsively after seeing an ad on social media. Afterwards I had that tinge of regret, because I was worried I was fooled by good marketing. When the cooling mats arrived and I touched the material, my jaw dropped, I couldn’t believe that the cooling mats arrived worked and it worked instantly. I’ve never been so proud of an impulse buy!! I’ve told everyone I know about them. My dogs love laying on them.
Ordered these mats with the buy one get one free offer in an attempt to help my greyhound who is struggling in the heat. Honestly, I am not convinced these do anything.The material is thin and feels cheap, and stays cool (and I use the word "cool" very lightly) for approximately 5 seconds while in contact with my dog. Since she has been using it she has not been cooling down any quicker than she was before. I have tried to be optimistic but I genuinely feel like I paid £78 for a couple of normal blankets. The worst part of this is their money-back-guarantee. Don't be fooled by the part that says if you're not satisfied you can return it within 14 days. Scroll down and you will see that they must be returned UNUSED. How the hell are you meant to know if you're satisfied without trying it? If they were really that confident about their products they would give you your money back if it didn't help your dog, whether they can re-sell it or not.So I cannot return these because 1) my dog has used them and 2) you can't return items on sale. From what I can see these mats are ALWAYS on some sort of sale, probably done so they've always got a reason to not refund people. I'm not expecting anything from the company by writing this review, I just want to warn other people before buying. The reviews on their website are 99% 5 stars, nothing below 3. Serves me right for being desperate to help my dog.
Their customer service has been so disappointing. I order a bed over 30 days ago and it still hasn’t arrived. When I asked for more detailed tracking information they refused to provide any. They are very unresponsive to emails and have only replied a few times after multiple emails sent. Their responses seem like boiler plate responses and don’t provide any help. They have never provided any information on when I can expect to receive the product. For a company that offers a “high quality item” for a high price, they have really missed the mark on how they treat their customers.
Great customer service! I had questions about cleaning the mats and the response was quick and friendly. These mats are amazing. I got two xl's for 2 large boxers and the summer is so hot and humid this year. They got right in them and they are so comfortable. I going to get the beds for upstairs. Love these. I didn't think they would be as chill as they are. I bought other mats and my dogs didn't bother with them these hold the chill and now I can watch a show without out all the panting😁Thank youDenni A.
2nd time purchasing from Pelsbarn as first one has not disappointed- numerous washes and it still cold ☺️ This go around there was a hiccup with the shipping, not sure what happened, but the team were responsive everytime I reached out and when it came- great quality again!
I am seriously upset over issues with Pelsbarn's tracking information, after receiving an internal tracking number that provides minimal details about the shipment's progress. The website says shipping is between 8-9 business days, but the responses to negative reviews on Trust Pilot claim that they tell customers shipping take 6-14 business days. That's an outright lie. I have a screenshot from their website that says different.I now have seen multiple reviews suggest that Pelsbarn's tracking information can be inaccurate or misleading, with reports of tracking updates being stuck on "awaiting USPS" or changing back to "label created". This lack of transparency and unreliable tracking has increased my concerns, and I now suspect that Pelsbarn might be an overseas-based company that falsely portrays itself as being in the US. Their website lists Monero Valley, CA as their location. However, shipping from zip code 92555 to zip code 30269 even with a few days for order fulfillment would have the product here by July 11th. I've not had a "tracking update" since July 7th. I paid extra to expedite my order which has made no difference at all. Pelsbarn doesn't give the customer the REAL tracking number so there's no way to independently verify that the item is in route. Super shady business practice. What are they trying to hide?
