Paid £660 for guaranteed bed bug treatment in may 2025, after the treatment the technician told me that you will see activity for 3 week, after 3 week if you see any bed bug activity then let us know,After 6 weeks the bug returned and when I call them the customer service lady told me the treatment was guaranteed for 1 month,Then I talk to the manager I thought he will be more understanding and professional but guess what he was the most unprofessional, inexperienced, uneducated and rude manager I have ever talked to,and he told me the same thing that it’s guaranteed for 1 month,I couldn’t understand how a company runs with this kind of service and unprofessional manager,Avoid

Called out PestUK and the chap who came to the house was very helpful. However, he was not allowed to do anything until I paid up front - likewise the follow up visit to apply the treatment had to be paid before they would come (as we couldn't guarantee to be there). If you accept the recommended treatment they refund the initial survey cost - apart from the fact that they didn't. I spent a month providing them copies of their own invoice and statements from accounts showing that the total bill for the two visits including VAT was £420 and that I'd paid a total of £528 and just got repeat emails from the general manager refusing to accept the fact that the price was £420 and I'd paid £528 despite all the evidence I produced for him. I finally had to appeal to the BCPA who could clearly see the facts and persuaded PestUK to refund me. I only noticed it had come through when I saw my bank statement; no acknowledgement, no apology, no nothing. The problem is solved but it wasn't as diagnosed by PestUK. I wish I'd looked them up on Trustpilot before this awful experience and I strongly advise anyone looking for pest control to steer well clear of this company .

I’ve used Pest UK a couple of times in the past as I keep chickens and live close to allotments so have a problem with rats every 2-3 years, but service this time was poor and I won’t be using them again. The technician sent out this time talked a lot (mostly about himself) and wasn’t as careful or thorough as previous technicians. I made it clear all bait had to be inaccessible to pets and other wildlife. He poked bags of poisoned grain into rat runs rather than bait blocks which previous technicians had used. The next day I realised the bait bags had been pulled out and split open and the poisoned grain scattered by rats. Took me a while to clear all of this away safely as it wasn’t safe to leave until a technician came back.He said at start he’d make several visits to ensure problem handled. When I contacted the office after a couple of visits to say there was still evidence of rat activity the office they said he’d be in touch. When I chased up after several days because he hadn’t been in touch the message was now that he was refusing to return unless I paid again. As he’d been sloppy with bait and hadn’t cleared the problem I was not paying again for a service that wasn’t good enough in the first place.
