Fibre line transfer nightmare

I signed up for a line at my previous address when everything was fine. Unfortunately we had to move due to circumstances beyond our control. We contacted RSAWeb to have the service transfered to our new premises when suddenly we were told that they are unable to accommodate us sin e they do not service the area of Mitchells Plain. We would either have to cede the line to the new owners (no idea who they are) of the property we vacated or we would have to pay about R2400 as a cancellation fee because we not using the line. Never dis we ask to cancel and is it really our fault that they don't service a certain area. Are we really to be held accountable for a cancellation fee which we never requested.Now we get emails everyday about this cancellation but never when we needed help.I think its time for the Ombudsman to step in and assist because this cannot go on and they get away with it

I was sed my bill was 499pm and mouth…

I was sed my bill was 499pm and mouth to mouth. As per mail I sed from the 1st to start. Know it is 700pm mouth and must pay for the router to. Was not even 3 mouths all so.i did ask the for voise note where I asked them if this is mouth to mouth still waiting. They just pushing me to pay 1400 for 1 mouth really this is a scam rsaweb. Watch out for them

Go with RSA web

Great experience. I had an issue when trying to cancel my account but the team was very professional and sorted everything out quickly. Now I would say that not only is it a reliable service, but they genuinely care about the customer experience as well.

RSAWeb stay away they will bring your company down

I am so upset with RSAWeb. Again they just block ports without consulting their customers. My entire business is standing still because they blocked a national directadmin port 2222 used by 90% of hosting companies. And man did they have an attitude. Think twice before joining

Do not sign with RSA web

RSA web is the most putrid when it comes to customer service. They're eager to make a sale but never there to assist with technical issues after signing. I have called since July month about my line having issues and the "support" phones just ring, but if you call their sales department then immediately they answer. Don't believe me? Try it. I challenge each and everyone who reads this before signing up, to give them a call and see if you get assistance from support. Then try and call their sales and see how long it takes before that phone is answered.I regret signing with them and will not be paying as of this month going forward until they resolve my line's issues.

Bad service

I applied for fiber last year December, no one came back to me.I moved to a new address just around the corner and fiber is still not available there yet,I had to call you back after months because no one is getting back to me.I went for LTE until fiber is available in that are...I paid for the LTE about 2 weeks ago...last week I was told I will have the LTE modem this week definitely, now today I call again and was told now Monday next week.Why after all this time(6 months) I still don't have internet yet...?That is really bad...

Worst Internet (Fibre) Service Provider in Cape Town, South Africa, please read before registering w

This Company (RSA Web) is the Absolute the worst Internet (Fibre) Service Providing Company i've ever been unlucky enough to have dealt with. They are dishonest, they did not only not honour their promotion, but they deliberately when I asked them to have cancelled the account, as I told them I were moving a certain date ended up not cancelling the line, and regardless how many times I emailed them they sent emails stating that line would have been cut off but failed to do so, and at the last point I would have gladly payed them what I actually owed them, but because they had a referral promotion (or still have) they after I made a recommendation and let them knew, went back on their word, they failed to give me the discount I was entitled to, so I failed paying them the R200 as they failed providing me a proper invoice for the R200 (and i probably easily asked them at least 10 times (5 times over WhatsApp, 3 times over email and 2 times telephonically) and the guy over WhatsApp just kept on saying he will see what he can do and gave excuse after excuse. And about a year and half after that their lawyers claim that I owe them some insane amount, even though It would be fantastic If they would have just would take me to court, as they provided substandard service, slower speeds then they were suppose to have and the better part of 6 months I basically struggled more with their pathetic connection, then i were able to have actually managed getting some work done while using a proper internet connection. But the main thing that stood out about this company is that they pretend to be professional, they pretend to the best service, but when you sign up with these guys, your most probably going to regret it, because they do not even honour their own promotions, their admin either does not accept or does not understand it, if you are renting and you are moving from your location, and they ended up sending me 10 different emails within the first 3 months, with the first 3 having been..... your account will be suspended.... payment received(account reactivated) This is some type of a sick joke, and so forth on and on and on until they want to try and get you to pay a insane amount, whereas i didn’t pay them the R200 i owe them due to the fact that they did not want to make the invoice out properly. They just had excuses (dodgy at best) and trying to phone them is even a bigger nightmare in comparison to getting them to understand absolutely anything over email as they have to be either uneducated, or they are totally crooked.Trust me when i say that I regret knowing that RSA Web exists, and i regret having trusted the sales guy when I signed up with them, as he promised the best service ever only to get me to sign u, and thereafter things went downhill in record time. I am now a happy client at Web Africa which delivers a 1GB Fibre internet line and they care enough to be as helpful as possible all of the time and they are totally organised. Even AfriHost is better than this company, as they are all fair reasonable and provide an excellent service as opposed to RSAWEB.

From the my first contact with RSAWEB the process was seamless and transparent. I have not received service this good in a while. The arrangements upto finally activating the connection took 2 business days.Well done.

STILL BEING BILLED!

Canceled my service, still being billed 3 months on. Can't get through to customer service via email or landline. Really pi**ed off.
